I went to most Manchester University gigs 1976-79 and saw a lot of very different bands. This one still sticks out in my mind all these years later. The band were on fire. High tempo rock with what seemed at the time some punk attitude. I knew nothing about AC/DC before I went to this gig. The small venue was packed mostly with Mancunian young rock fans rather than students. I got a great view by climbing up onto one of the large window sills at the side. Highlight was Angus being carried around the floor on Bon's shoulders playing guitar with a smoking school satchel on his back. The only time I ever saw AC/DC but unforgettable.
