My 1st DC gig...wow! Deafened and nearly trampled when Bon & Angus appeared on the balcony. Amazing gig to a 14 yr old who was mainly into punk at the time. The bootleg of this show is good, but doesn't come close to the excitement and sheer power of the night itself. Still got my programme & t-shirt. RIP Bon.

First time I ever saw the band aged 14. Wow! They were just truly magnificent. No fancy gimmicks or modern stage props like the current shows - not that I am complaining about those as I think the truly add to the current AC\DC experience. Just a lunatic for a guitarist dressed in a school uniform and a leering, slightly the worse for wear, singer who was just awesome to behold. Looking back to that time, and just how fantastic he was, it is hard to imagine that six months or so later he would be gone and the world would have lost one of its truly great rock and roll singers and performers. What is still vivid is the raw energy from the band and their total commitment to giving us a good time even if the details of the show are somewhat what hazy these days. They just don't make bands like this anymore which is why we all have to keep going to see this one 30 years later.
