What can I say? I had the honor of attending the November 13th show at Madison Square Garden. For a band that has been around for over thirty five years, they stick to one formula. Straight forward, no messing around, rock and roll. That's just the way the fans (including myself) like it. For over one hour and forty minutes, you get to escape from the outside world and let the music take over. Songs from the new album, Big Jack, War Machine, Rock N Roll Train seemed to blend in with the classics very well. Angus still knows how to rip through songs like Let There Be Rock, TNT, Dirty Deeds etc. His energy at age 53 brings out the eternal youth in all. Phil Rudd, Malcolm, and Cliff fit in very well playing in the background. Brian seems very content when he is out there performing. Still getting a buzz from all the cheering the fans. If there were any negatives (and there were very few) they struggled a bit with Thunderstruck. They had mic problems with that song. But hey like I say very few blemishes.

I will say this as an avid AC/DC fan. For all the so called music critics that say this band is too old, how come their new album went straight to number one all over the world. Going platinum in just a week and half in the US alone. Their tour is selling out just about anywhere they play. At their shows, they have a following of a different generation of fans who appreciate their music. At the show I had the privilege of seeing fans in their 60's and yes even 70's rocking as the band play. Keep it up! There was a lady who was in front of me who was 73 years young, standing and head banging with the rest of us. Keep rocking on. AC/DC shows today's bands how to the big boys do it. In your face, no nonsense, rock and roll. You know what you are going to get when they play. Your ears will be ringing, be sweating and drained. The way it should be. I felt I got a bargain for the price I paid.

Was at MSG on the 13th came over from Ireland to see the greatest rock band of all time, brought the wife to see them as well, her second time seeing them and WOW what a time we had. The show was excellent, had goosebumps when they came on, had great seats right in the center so missed nothing and what a show they put on with all the lads in top form. Went on to BB Kings after and went mental on the dancefloor there to the tribute band Overdose who played all the old classics. Can't wait for Dublin in April. Best band EVER!!!

Wow! What can I say? Seen them in '83, and twice each on the following tours -- 1988, 1991, 2000-01, 01, 2008 - MSG and Izod tomorrow night. MSG on 11/13 was fantastic. Yes Angus and Brian are a bit less nimble than in the 80s, but man oh man did they f'n kill it. I was a bit concerned when I noticed they tuned down 1/2 step to Eb on the first You Tube vids. But I'll tell ya, when you're in the house... it is on FIRE! Can't wait for tomorrow night. For the first time, I'm taking my wife. She is in for such a treat. What a special time for these guys. I'm so happy the album is doing so well... it is a great one. And let's not forget Mal, Cliff, and Phil... Guys, you are the best back line ever. Sound is absolutely killer for this tour. Tone, clarity, volume, all perfect. I felt like a kid again. ROCK ON!

This was the first time I saw AC/DC as well as the first concert I’ve ever been to and man I couldn’t have picked a better band for my first concert. I was barely 8 years old at the time and my mind was absolutely blown from the train intro all the way to the canons finale. They were extremely LOUD. So loud. Out of all the bands that I saw after this show none were anywhere near this loud. The setlist was great, they played all the classic hits and some new songs. My favorite part was Angus’ guitar solo. He went on for almost 20 minutes! Overall this was a fantastic show and it changed my life forever. I will be forever grateful that I got to see Malcom Young live before he retired and eventually died from dementia. I hope to see them again on the Rock or Bust tour.
