What an awesome performance! I think they may have saved a little something for last nights show being the last in North America for the tour. They turned the energy up a notch or 2 from earlier in the tour. Angus especially looked like he was having a blast. His solo for Let There Be Rock seemed to go on forever. Brian and Malcolm were both looking at him with a look of astonishment. It was the most inspired I've ever seen them and was truly a show for the ages!

I had been looking forward to this day for many years and I was not let down in the slightest. The intro movie really got the crowd worked up and by the time the train "crashed" through the screen and AC/DC hit the stage with “Rock N’ Roll Train”, it was mass Hysteria. The band was really on top of their game too. Brian belted out all the classics along with four new tracks from Black Ice, while Angus kicked, duck-walked, and shook with energy, Phil smoked, and Malcolm and Cliff bounced to the rhythm. Then after a thank you from Brian and a statement that the party had just begun, straight into “Hell Aint a Bad Place to Be” we go. Then “Back in Black”, “Big Jack”, “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”, “Shot Down in Flames”, “ Thunderstruck” and “Black Ice”. Angus' strip during “The Jack” was of course sent the crowd into fits of hollering and whistling (always a favorite). Then Hells Bell appeared and Brian ran down the full length of the catwalk and swung from the bells' rope signal the start of “Hells Bells”. Then “Shoot to Thrill” was played before “War Machine”, which included an awesome video playing in the background. Then a surprising classic “High Voltage” from their first album, and another from Back in Black "You Shook me All Night Long" Then another first album classic “TNT” was played before “Rosie” came out straddling the Rock N' Roll Train and the crowd shouted Angus!! between the opening notes of the song,(which I believe is mandatory to do at an AC/DC show.) “Let There Be Rock” included an extended solo where Angus went into fits on his platform which rose up into the air, while confetti was shot out all around him. The song was also ended with a fiery solo from Angus. After a short break Angus emerged from under the stage wearing devil horns and the band launched into “Highway to Hell”, then straight into the roaring finale, “For Those About to Rock” which ended with a barrage of gunfire from the massive cannons. Brian yelled to the audience "we salute you Des Moines, we salute you Iowa" and just like that they were gone. A night to remember for the whole audience, for the rest of our lives!!!!
