I was there, but it was the '70s and anyone from that era can tell you what was going on before, during and after the concert. At the time, I lived in Clarion, Iowa and traveled the 90 miles to Des Moines with friends to attend this concert. I remember UFO rocked the place before AC/DC came out. But, AC/DC quickly took back their rightful place as Rock Gods shortly after starting their set. At one point, Bon put Angus on his shoulders and ventured out onto the floor with the crowd. They came within a few feet of me and Angus never missed a beat. It was touted as the "World's Loudest Concert" when these two bands showed up and I would have to agree. It. Was. Awesome!

Totally Awesome I was only 13 at the time and had so much fun that I went to see them again 2 months later. The energy of the band ricocheted throughout the crowd as we lifted Angus out then back to the stage as his guitar picked on. Pure uncensored Rock!

I was at this concert in the front row. First concert that I ever seen. AC/DC opened and it was so loud. They were amazing. Could not believe the energy of Angus Young. Earlier in the day I went to meet the band at Sam the Record Man record store. I said hi to each one of them and got there autographs except for Phil Rudd who was not there. To this day this was the best concert that I have ever seen. After AC/DC was done playing I left. I never saw UFO. My ears were ringing for hours after Bon Scott. Best ever R I P
