One of the best and most energetic shows I've seen in a long time, and the best this year by far!

By Matt Clapper, Lenox, PA:
What an awesome show. This was my first time seeing them play live. They played my 2 fav songs of the new album (Big Jack, and Anything Goes), they also played some of the classics too (Shook Me All Night Long, Hell Aint A Bad Place To Be.......) My ears are still ringing from the cannons at the end of For those about to rock.

By Geoff Ginsberg, Philadelphia:
Well, it has been a while, hasn't it? And of course, it was worth the wait. AC/DC unleashed their new world tour last night and I for one, was damn glad to be there.
They opened with Rock n Roll Train which is a pretty immediate song - sort of a Highway To Hell type of riff. From there it was into mostly familiar territory with the band laying down molten slabs of hard rock. For me the new songs were the best part of the show - don't get me wrong, I was blown away during Let There Be Rock, Whole Lotta Rosie etc, but let's face it, we've heard those songs so many times. It was great to hear something different.
Big Jack and Black Ice were particularly powerful. They also did War Machine and that song that sounds like Nazareth. The album is really strong. I really dug Stiff Upper Lip (and would have been happy to hear something from it), but I have to say this is a more consistently excellent record than that.
Brian Johnson sounded great - how he can sing like that without having to go to the hospital never ceases to amaze. And the engine room - wow - never mind Rock and Roll Train, those three guys are like a freight train. Angus? Do I need to go into details? He was Angus.
I guess my only complaint is that the setlist is so unimaginative. Would it kill the guys to play something old that isn't on AC/DC live? When I saw them in '03 and they did Gone Shootin' and What's Next To The Moon I was ecstatic. There were no surprises this time. TNT, Dirty Deeds, they still sound great, but Let's Get It Up woulda been so much cooler.
Anyway, they totally rocked, were tight as a drum and my ears are ringing as I write this. It was a beautiful thing...

By Joe F, Wilkes-Barre, PA:
AC/DC sounded fantastic - great show they still have it. Angus was totally out of control, one the greatest guitar players around. The opening was unbelievable, the light show awesome. So glad they started their tour in my hometown.

By Frank, Rochester, NY:
AWESOME!!! Was an amazing show especially when Angus did "Let The Be Rock". Once you see this rendition, you'd think Angus was in his early 20's! Biggest disappointment besides Rosie blowing up, literally, the day before at the pre-show was the length of the concert...only 90 minutes! I was hoping for at LEAST 2 hrs! No Moneytalks, Who Make How, Ballbreaker, Stiff Upper Lip, Long Way to the Top, Jailbreak, etc......otherwise....worth it!

My wife & I have been fans for the past 28 or 29 years. The Show was EXCELLENT.. many greatold tunes and a good mix with the new material. We really liked the Locomotive and Cannons. Do you have a screen saver of the pussy flames?

By Mike Herron, Wilkes-Barre, PA:
As usual a spectacular show, the cartoon and the locomotive was over the top! And we all miss Rosie, hopefully her burns will heal. (Constructive criticism's: the mixer needs to dial down the bass a bit on war machine, couldn't make out Mr. Johnsons words.) The burgundy Gibson with the lightning bolts had me all teary eyed, never thought I see that played again......Best wishes......Mike

AC/DC Rock now and Forever. But folks... one observation that no one seems to be mentioning. AC/DC have tuned down to Eb to accommodate Brian's voice. It sounds weird on some songs. I've seen them many times. Have all albums and DVDs. I'm an Angus worshiper. He is my mentor. But they have gone the route of other amazing older hard rock giants like Sabbath and Zeppelin and tuned down. Songs just don't sound the same when you do that. Still after a few beers... who cares. They're still great.

By Bill, New York, USA:
AC/DC is BACK and with that said, so is ROCK 'N ROLL music. The band is energetic and the stage show is fantastic. Glad the boys are back, and after seeing both the rehearsal and the opening night shows in Wilkes-Barre, I'm already looking forward to more of the concerts on this tour!

By Nancy , Hazleton, PA:
You know how things get better with age? Well your concert left me speechless. Thats because I couldn't stop screaming. From start to finish you've still got it and from an older fan's view I want to say thank you for starting your tour here in PA. The fan's are in for a really great time!!! THANK YOU

By Kim, Mountain Top, PA:
Fantastic! I had the opportunity to share this experience with my children. They were awestruck. Angus, Malcolm, Brian, Cliff and Phil are definitely timeless, they never missed a beat. AC/DC is like a fine wine, they only get better with age. I had the honor of seeing them 7 years ago at Wachovia Arena. It was great that they chose Wilkes Barre to kick off their world tour. They are one of those bands that you can see again and again and again and it's just as thrilling every time. Thanks for an AWESOME Concert! I hope they come back again, definitely a show not to be missed.
