Well it was 1979, 17 years old, drove to Toronto 1.5 hours. Took my parents car a Dodge Polara with several friends. We missed most of UFO but were there 1st balcony left of stage for the thunder. Will never forget Angus on the shoulders of a crew member playing his guitar and going around the small venue even on the balcony right infront of us, crazy times. It was one of Bon's (RIP) or maybe the last concert he sang in Toronto. I saw AC/DC with Bon in Buffalo with Aerosmith Sept.17 1978 we were there for AC/DC who opened and had taken the Bus to that concert so we weren't late. But frankly AC/DC was by far tops at that concert IMO. From the earliest days of listening to AC/DC on a Craig Power Play in my buddy's Camaro I new these guys were happening! Even today over 39 years later was listening to a Playlist of early AC/DC with Bon and Brian and I gotta stay it's great uplifting work music that reflects the true pure rock and roll sound that never gets old.

I was 16 at the time Cheap Trick were playing the Gardens same night but really wanted to check out AC/DC and the fact UFO was there too. Had floor seats and remember rushing the stage. Fuck they were loud. Never forgot Angus on some dudes shoulders wailing out as they were walking around the crowd.
