Drove down from Scotland to see the boys, saw them last year in Manchester, Glasgow, and in Warsaw 2 weeks ago, and tonight they were fuckin awesome, great at mos at Donnington, everybody was there to see them rock middle England. Set list was as per usual on this tour, the solo and Angus on the riser was amazing, I was standing just behind it. These guys still rock like never before, wish I was going to see them in Spain, me thinks this is it for the boys. One life one fuckin amazing rock band, this was my 7th concert, first in 81 at Glasgow Apollo. Angus, Malcolm, Phil, Brian and Cliff you are the dealers you gave us all we need WE SALUTE U for ever!

By Chris Neville, Steeple Aston. Oxfordshire:
At 20:30hrs the Rock 'n' Roll Train started running down the tracks, crashed and then thundered onto the stage. From that moment on it was non stop full throttle AC/DC business as usual. Third time I've seen them on this tour and they still have the same enthusiasm and sense of enjoyment as if they're playing their first night. What can you say, it was their D (Donington) - Day!

By Tony, Warrington, England:
Great show, this band are still going strong after nearly two years touring. I thought they might change their set a little but they stuck to the same songs that they have covered on this tour. The day itself was brilliant and again AC/DC made the day brilliant, I don't think theres a band out there as good as these guys.

By Chris Taylor, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England:
As usual a great performance by AC/DC. The set list remains the same apart from the inclusion of High Voltage. Managed to get near the front left of the stage and the crowd were much more energetic than the Wembley performance last year. The sound was also better and the band were as tight as ever. They came on at 8:30pm and the sun was still fairly high but did not take away from the intro. We paid for the 3 nights to guarantee a ticket - not sure it was sold out but seemed full. Is this the last time for the boys in the UK? Hope not!

By Eddie, Bishop Auckland:
Absolutely brilliant!!! The visual effects eg. the Runaway Train with sparks shooting up, along , and out of the stage and then Rosie sitting astride the train tapping her foot to the music. The sound quality was excellent, well above that from the support groups on the main stage (AC/DC had their own stage, next to the main stage). Totally different from when I saw them at the Mayfair, Newcastle in the late 70's when I was within touching distance of Angus and Bon Scott, but equally brilliant.

By David Bolton, Derby:
Back in England with a bang! That is what we were waiting for! Fourth time at Donington and just as good as ever, I was there in 1984 and 1991 but this was something else. Waited at the front for 6 hours and it was worth it (apart from someone standing on my sandwiches and getting a little crushed). Same set list as those on Summer tour 2010 played on their own stage! Download festival main stage and AC/DC stage side by side in front of 90,000 people. Angus, wearing dark green uniform, was on awesome form with the band not missing a beat! We salute you Donington!!!

By Julian S, Loughborough:
Set list was the same as other shows on this leg.
Fourth time I've seen the boys on this tour, and their consistency in providing a great show is impressive. A bit disappointed that they did not do anything special for the Donington and Back in Black 30 year anniversary, but that was probably expecting too much. Still can't believe that Angus and crew can still do this at their age, and that they can mesmerise a crowd this big! One of the after show comments from a dad to his son said it all: 'you'll never see show like that again, there'll never be another AC/DC...

By Rab, Loughborough, England:
Been waiting 19 years for AC/DC to return to Donington and WOW the boys NEVER fail to deliver. The crowd is huge and well up for a rocking time. Bang on 8.30 the video screens flash into life and were all aboard the Rock N Roll Train again with Angus appearing at the end of the catwalk blasting out the opening riff like the rock god he is. The sound for an outdoor gig is superb and the band look fit and well showing no signs of tiredness after a long world tour. A lot has been said about the set list but every song is greeted with a loud roar of approval and to be honest the set list is magnificent and Donington loves AC/DC. Highlights for me were Back In Black, The Jack, High Voltage, TNT, and Rosie. Brian Johnson deserves special praise for his voice which was truly amazing. Was it worth the long wait... you bet it was, AC/DC are the most loved rockers ever!

By Paul, Walsall:
A truly awesome show fourth time seeing them on this tour but this was without doubt the best, Brian's voice was spot on and Angus still has the energy of a Tasmanian devil the band as a whole were so tight. My only disappointment was why weren't they on any of the Download merchandise???

By Simon Baurley, Leeds:
Another great gig at the famous Donington venue. It's always great to see them playing on English soil, and the 90,000 plus crowd obviously agreed, There were rumours about them playing all of Back in Black alum, but in the end we got no surprises (but didn't expect any) They had a problem with the train at the beginning, it didn't crash through the screen as well as it usually does, and didn't retreat back towards the end of the set like it usually does ?
Oh one very strange thing, why was there NO MENTION at all of AC/DC in the Download weekend programme, and their name missing from the official event T shirt?

By Simon Holt, Whitwick, Leicestershire, UK:
This was the most energized, amazing, mind-blowing set I've ever seen in my life. You guys have still got the power that you started with and long may it continue. Absolutely amazing. Angus - you are the dogs bollocks, man.

By Bishops Finger, Telford:
Awesome... Similar set to Wembley last year but dropped Anything Goes in favour of High Voltage
Band seemed to have a great time especially Angus and Brian who sang and performed like mad
Seeing @100000 folk clapping along to Shoot to Thrill was amazing
Did the AC/DC Donington thing 4 times this was the best
Shame about the delays getting off the car park...

By Ron Logan, Worthing:
A whole 19 years after I cried salt tears at my mums refusal to let my 14 year old self attend the hallowed turf of Castle Donington, I now no longer have to view AC/DC's '91 Live at Donington DVD with a pang of regret at what might have been.
They finally came back and I was there to see it.
In an unusual move, AC/DC had brought their own stage to the event; one that in terms of speakers alone dwarfed the actual main stage.
Unexpectedly the day had turned out to be a real scorcher (by English standards at any rate) and it was into a balmy summers evening that the AC/DC steam-train rolled onto their own stage.
Kicking off with Rock and Roll Train, the band did seem to have a few problems with their timing, but by the time they'd hit us Back in Black there was no stopping 'em.
There was easily around 110,000 people in that crowd. A few disinterested observers for sure but from where I was standing there were more than enough drunken metalheads singing their heads off to every song.
There are few oafs grumbling that the set list has stayed the same for the Black Ice tour. I say sod 'em.
I can't say there was a single song that wasn't well received. A week later I'm still buzzing from this legendary occasion.
I can't wait for the DVD.

By Jonny Boy, UK:
Quite simply AC/DC owned Donington. I’ve seen them four times on the Black Ice tour and still get goose bumps when they come on stage. Great crowd too, real party atmosphere. The lads just get better and better.

By Gavin Dutton, Chester City, UK:
It turned out to be a very hot sunny day after a week of rain in the UK which made the Beer tent more of a magnet for me!
I've seen AC/DC many times indoors & open air shows e.g Donington 91 front row moshpit, milton keynes was memorable, Wembley Stadium last year was fucking Brilliant the sound was deafening FTATR & Hells Bells etc!
So I just had to get to this one fearing that this will be there last tour for the BEST FUCKING ROCK N ROLL BAND IN THE WORLD EVER, AC/DC I SALUTE YOU!
Yes, wild horses could not have kept me away even on one fucking leg, i always new supporting this band threw thick & thin they would go down in history as the BEST BAND BRINGING THERE OWN STAGE TO ROCK DONINGTON FOR THE 4th TIME!
I thought Angus Youngs stamina in his famous duckwalk was unbelievable for his age, i think he would have duckwalked on to the poxy download Mainstage & back if he could have!
Brian Johnson screamed his nuts off giving his all AT 62 (fair play), leaving his voice a little ragged at the end AC/DC ROCKED THE CROWD FROM START TO FINISH!!
There was not one song i didn't enjoy hearing but i thought Back in Black & Thunderstruck were the best songs for getting the crowd going nuts to the end!
Brian johnson said that the crowd of 110,000 fans made AC/DC feel proud on stage, but i want AC/DC to know that you made me proud to be a FAN FOLLOWING THE BEST BAND ALL THESE YEARS!
KEEP ROCKING GUYS BUT I FEAR ON BLACK ICE YOU WILL COME OF THE ROAD FOR GOOD, I HOPE NOT, GOD BLESS AC/DC!
