    By Glenn Whelan, Melbourne:
I wagged school as a 14 yr old to get a good spot upstairs on the rail centre stage, I look back now and can't believe how small the area is. A lifetime later I still love Acca Dacca and took my kids to the 2010 concert in Melbourne.
The boys nearly blew the roof off the "Village" and I couldn't imagine a rock band getting approval to have a concert in a shopping centre.
Great memories that have lasted a lifetime!!!!

    By David kover , Corio,Victoria, Australia :
Would like to know a forum or forums to have a look at and to give some feedback on my thoughts of the AC/DC concert at Corio village because I have talked to people that don’t believe me that they did play at the opening day of the Corio village shopping centre!

    By Michael Foulkes, Melbourne:
I was Publicity Manager for Jean City at the time and we were literally overwhelmed by the response to the event as were the Centre Management. When the guys finished their gig, we'd arranged for them to run off stage and down a side corridor to an empty retail shop with a roller door. They did this pursued by a mass of teenage girls, into the shop and out a back door to be picked up in the car park. Once the roller door was down, three of us stood in front of it to allow the escape and some of the desperate offers made to us to get access were very x-rated. It wasn't the opening of Corio Village but the opening of Jean City at that complex and was arranged along with a number of other things we were doing with the "Michaels" at Mushroom.
