Good show,way too friggin wet and cold, my old bones are still shivering, next time play the coliseum!! Line ups were stupidly crazy for everything bathrooms shirts beer, speakin of beer they closed down the beer vendors first song into the show!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! As far as the band themselves go they put on a great show no complaints bout them at all, just as good as all the other times I've seen em!!!

First time going to a concert at Commonwealth, my dad saw the band way back in '78. When we got to the Stadium it was really humid and a little cloudy out but we decided we'd stand in line to get a t-shirt. After we got our rags we headed to our gate to be seated. We were in row 60 and my dad went for a beer and I sat and watched The Answer play their set. Towards the end of their set I started to feel some rain drops so I grabbed my jacket and waited it out. By the time the lights dimmed and all you could see were the red devil horns. AC/DC walked on stage and it was POURING. I haven't seen it rain like that in years. The front of the stage looked like Niagara Falls. There was water pouring off of it and there were little swimming pools all over the place. Not that many people had jackets so people were soaked. The chairs were linked together so I just stood on top of mine to try and see which didn't really help but I was able to watch the video screens. The band played on and at one point Brian remarked "We must've really pissed somebody off" as the down pour continued. The thunder and lightning hit just as "Thunderstruck" started and after every song the band had to switch equipment and try to dry stuff off because it was so wet. Brian took a real chance running from about mid runway to go and swing on the bell; he could've wiped out BAD but he didn't. One of the devil horns on the right side of the stage filled up with water and collapsed and soaked a few dozen roadies standing below it. No one left during the show despite the weather, everybody stayed and every time the lightning hit or thunder rumbled we cheered. The crowd was enthusiastic and Brian could've stopped at anytime and the crowd would've kept singing. I could hear the crowd better than I could hear Brian! It was a special experience in a way because the rain made it even more fitting. Brian kept remarking "Thanks for sticking with us!" I felt that it was more fitting if the crowd would've said that! Thanks AC/DC for sticking with us! I also remember the smell of pot being really bad. You could see little clouds of it all over the place and three songs in Brian said "We can smell the "rock and roll" from here!" nice code word. All in all a great performance, killer set list, and the best live band in the world! Thank-you AC/DC for sticking with us Edmontonians!

Absolutely the BEST band in the world!!
Last nights concert was Amazing and that adjective does not even do it justice. Before the show began, two Griffon choppers did a couple of flyovers complimented by three 431 air demonstration squadron planes flying loops around the stadium. What a nice touch. I took my wife, 25 and 15 year old daughters and they were blown away by the show. The show was accented by the weather as thunder and Lightening only added to the show as they played Thundestruck. The rain poured by the bucket at times, but the 60,000 fans did not even flinch. Great job AC/DC! Thanks for giving so much to your fans!

My son purchased 2 tickets for this event and I didn't realize that he was wanting me to go with him as I was going out to visit at the time of the concert. I profess I was not a big AC/DC fan but went with anyway. The stadium was filled and when the lights went out, all that could be seen was a sea of blinking red horns and I was hooked. I walked out of that concert with a great appreciation for the performance that band put on. I stayed to the very end and like everyone else got soaked as the skies opened. This band kept going and I haven't stopped talking about this concert. Not bad for a die hard Beatles fan. Thanks for a memorable moment. Angus is a phenomenal entertainer.

That was a great concert. I'm just 10 but ur concert was da bomb. I really liked it and it rained right? And Brian I heard u say "oooo its slippery out here" then ppl came out washing the stage and first there was opening band right really kewl concert first time and u thought it was great.

This was my first concert at age 16 and a dream come true to see AC/DC! It's been 8 years since the last time they were here in Edmonton. When the lights went out to roll the rock n roll train cartoon video the whole damn stadium was filled with these blinking devil's horns And when the boys came storming on stage playing rock n roll train everyone was cheering and rocking out! It was rather amazing. The best part was when they started to play Thunderstruck while there was thunder and lighting and pouring god damn rain! I'd think they would've had to postpone the show but nope, the guys just kept on playing and we were all completely soaked literally! it was the best day of my life so far! to see Angus with his squealing leads, Malcolm's Crunchy Rhythm, Cliff's Throbbing Bass, Phil's Thunderous Drumming, and Brian's screeching vocals! AC/DC Shook the shit out of Edmonton all night long!
