Danke Dortmund..Danke AC/DC.

    By Stefan, Austria:

    21 GUN SALUTE
    AC/DC AUSTRIA

By Mark Baumann, Hamm, NRW, Deutschland:

    Long live Rock´n´Roll!

    By Volker, Oberhausen, Germany:
Krass!

Simply superb. One cannot say more! It leaves itself simple to describing. The No. 1 of the live music, could increase once again. Brian broke his microphone twice. It had to be switched 2 times. Angus had as in Oberhausen white piece of underwear from the trousers to hang. It carries apparent already warmly laundry under the AC/DC pants (one becomes stop older) he he. 1 cannon had probably no connection to the firing plant. Because it did not ignite with the Salute. Otherwise SOUND. Louder than before 8 years, or I become also older.

What the hell of a Rock`n`Roll show again in Dortmund:

Two days before the concert my wife and I even did not know that we will attend this show. When I came back from work early Friday evening my wife told me that she found two tickets for Dortmund in the AC/DC-world forum. A man from Austria posted it early in the morning. As the post was more then 10 hours ago, we thought that those tickets were already sold to someone else. But why not give us a chance to see the boys again just one week after Düsseldorf. So I tried the phone number and reached the AC/DC Fan in Austria. He told me that the tickets are still available for the price of 90€ (a fair price and no scalper). Two of his friends were ill and therefore not able to attend the show. Ok we got the tickets, as it was only 48 hour to the gig, we suppose to exchange money and tickets in front of the Westfalen halle.

Well, on Saturday at around lunch time we drove to Duisburg to our friend where we had slept one week before for the Düsseldorf gig. We got the key for the house and then drove to Lüdenscheid to the AC/DC Fan meeting of the Dynamite Fanclub. It was a lot of fun to have a pre-party together with some German Hardcore AC/DC Fans. Salute to Petersen for the arrangement of the meeting.
Next day a fast lunch at Lüdenscheid again and then back on the road to Dortmund.

Waiting in front of the Westfalenhalle to get our tickets, but nothing to see. The Austria people were still on the road. As the time came close to the entrance time I got nearly a nervous shakedown. But then a quarter to six we got our tickets in hand. Yeaaaaaaaaah.
We had very good standing places. On the right side approx. in the middle of the catwalk with a perfect view on the boys. We could even smell Brian and Angus and my wife nearly shake hands with Brian.
Nothing special with the set list, but Brian and Angus seams to have a lot of fun this evening. The crowd was excellent and my neck still had pain the day after ;-)

Up to now the best concert we had attend so far. After the two Paris gigs I thought it could not been better, but it could. Maybe it will be even better in Frankfurt ;-)

Due to the canceled concert here in Antwerp, we decided to watch them in Dortmund. I have seen them now 14 times and they still amaze me, what a show, great, amazing, super.

First time I saw them was in 1979 with Bon Scott at Jazz Bilzen, Belgium. They are still the greatest rock band ever. I'm going to see them again at the Arena, Amsterdam on June 23rd. AC/DC rules, keep rocking.
