This show blew me away. It is not too short. Not too short at all if you consider the energy they put into. Being two rows from the stage I saw these guys pour all they had into the 1 hour and 45 minute show. They took the stage at 8:45 and played until 10:30. I noticed that Brian totally favors the left side of the stage (If you are facing it) and Angus the right. Something to consider if you actually have a choice of sides when getting tickets. I had Brian in my face all night pointing, fist pumping, hand waving....it was awesome....not to put down Angus at all...but this seemed to be my focal point of the night...just how freaking awesome he is and that he doesn't leave the stage even for the solo of Let there Be Rock. Those guys are a kick ass team that take the stage together...and leave together. The sound was sharp and being in front of the speakers that is a high praise because that is usually the worst place to be. My ears hurt from the cannons and I want more. The pyro during the opening TNT was a pleasant surprise. Rosie is huge in person...LOL. Black ice was a huge bathroom/beer break song...probably for people who complain the show is too short...and some people actually left after Let there Be Rock......why? Oh why? That's like watching a Mystery movie and turning it off right before it is solved. How good was the show? I'm already trying to find away to go to another one and I've only gotten back from this one ten minutes ago..loved it!

I have been a fan for 20 years and I can only say the show made me proud to be a fan. No other band comes close to what these guys give when on the stage. The show Thursday night was great and I hope they come back this way later on in the tour. Angus, Malcolm, Brian, Cliff and Phil, please know you are more than a band, you are heroes to many and an inspiration to all your fans!!

I'm 16, and this was my very first concert. Let me tell you it freaking ROCKED!! The Answer was great, but you could tell everyone was ready for the main act. Finally, after a good thirty to forty minute wait after they left the stage the lights went out and the giant screen lit up. The little cartoon thing was pretty cool, but as soon as the explosions started and the HUGE train came out the whole place erupted. Rock and Roll Train kicked major Rock and Roll ass, and the screens on both sides made me feel like I was watching it from right there in front of Angus. Back in Black was great, and Angus' strip tease was hilarious. Thunderstruck was a good as the one from the Donington DVD and I enjoyed seeing Brian swinging from the bell during Hells Bells. I doubt I'll be able to do that when I'm 61. I didn't expect Rosie to pop out of the train like she did, and I swear she was almost as big as one of those balloons in the Macy's Thanksgiving parade. Angus was AMAZING. His solo during Let There Be Rock kicked Eddie Van Halen's ass. I loved how he came up from under the stage before Highway to Hell. The cannons during For Those About To Rock rattled all of Charlotte. Brian sounds better than he has in years. Please AC/DC, if you read this, come back soon.

I grew up with the band and have waited for the past several years to share the experience with my daughter (I realized this would be their last tour). I purchased Charlotte tickets the day of release and ended up taking my two nieces as well. To sum up the following blog...
    ...I WANT TO GO BACK!

I wish I had tickets to the upcoming gig in Nashville TN in Jan.!!!!!!!!! (already sold out)

The show was absolutely awesome! The guys proved at Charlotte they can still put the 20 year old rockers to shame. As you may have guessed, Angus was/is the center attraction. No performer puts more into a show that this guy. The band has slowed down somewhat, but none puts as much energy into a concert than these "bunch of old guys".

There were rock-n- roll fans age 5-65 at the concert; and in the middle of the toughest economic times in a century, people seemed be oblivious to life's troubles and enjoy themselves, each in their own unique way.

I remember a full grown man about 55 years old 1 row over... he never stopped playing his air guitar the entire time! Girls around me of all ages screamed every time Angus came on the big screen. A 7 year boy, 3 seats from me, stood on the back of his seat clapping with an amazed look on his face. The guy beside me was a lawyer, deaf in one ear, and claimed he had never seen them before, but his wife wanted to see the band again. They had made the concert into a family outing with their young children. The guy was repeatedly blown away all through the show and the way the band performed. The entire stadium thundered to the classics. The Black Ice song is your only opportunity to take a break or catch your breath from this nonstop, heart pounding, adrenaline injection of a show.

The show was indeed perfect in every way, including the bloopers. Brian kind of messed up with some voice strain on some lyrics and Angus made an ill-attempted guitar spin on the run way due to lack of room and ability to bounce back onto his feet, but neither of them falter and professionally covered their mistakes well. This made the show even more realistic and less choreographed for the crowded stadium.

The opening video and suspense building sound/visual effects made the opening freakin awesome for lack of better description!! The band came blasting onto the stage just as they have every 2-3 days during their tour and never let up. I don't see how they keep it up myself.

Angus can only be outdone by himself. I think he actually tries to outperform himself with some sort of self-satisfying competitive mentality. Where ever he gets his energy and for whatever reason...it works. The crowd goes crazy and is stunned by his solo performance during this show.

As in every show, Angus quickly strips out of his clothes and is dripping with sweat, bordering exhaustion, 1/2 way through the gig. Brian also works up a sweet while screaming the band's legendary lyric and pleasing the crowd with his catwalk style. I noticed he returns to the drink area after each song to keep up his pace on this tour.

I don't want to ruin the show for anyone, but the lights/colors, pyrotechnics, explosions, and realistic props are perfectly timed with the music and generate the mood to jam with the band. The behind the scene team has the show so well organized, you don't even see a FULL SIZE TRAIN replica missing for about 10 minutes. I get goose bumps just thinking about the this show. I can say on behalf of the fans at Charlotte... we got our moneys worth from the entry tickets. Although the merchandise was overpriced, I plan to buy the first DVD of the Black Ice tour available. ***plan to spend $35 for shirts, $65 for hoodys $15 for the blinking horn lights, and $20 for a tour book.***

(I smuggled in a camera, but the pictures stink and I want to be able to look back on this one for years to come sure. )

I WISH I WAS GOING TO THE NEXT ONE WITH YOU...Enjoy the show and be safe!!

Now I know why Fans love AC/DC. They don't let Us down. From the opening to the end They put on the Best show I have seen. They don't try to be any thing But what they are. Rock and roll to the bone! I went to see Van Halen in 07 thought they were great but AC/DC put them to shame. The Guys might be up there in years but they still put their hearts in what They do and that is kick every other bands ass! Folks if you have the chance to go and see Them, GO!

Great show. The boys from down under came to Charlotte and in true AC/DC fashion kicked ass with their in your face straight up rock 'n' roll. Angus was as sharp as ever. I have attended 6 or 7 AC/DC concerts and this was one of the best I have witnessed.

I'm only 23 but i have been an AC/DC fan for years. I saw them back on the Stiff Upper Lip tour in 2001, but honestly the Black Ice show blew me away! I knew they were not going to disappoint me, but I didn't think it would be the ultimate show like it was! Age has not stopped them by any means, and in my opinion has only made them even better! Brian sounds as good as he did in 1980, Angus is still the greatest showman in rock n' roll history, and of course the rhythm section was dead-on. All hail AC/DC!!....the greatest band of ALL time!

    By Samantha , Lynchburg, VA:
AC/DC grabbed you by the short hairs, kicked you in the teeth and left you saying: "Thank you sir may I have another" I last saw them in Roanoke, VA in 1990 and have waited, what seemed an eternity, for them to come back. My husband and I drove 3 1/2 hours to see them in Charlotte, NC and it was beyond worth it. The boys didn't disappoint and were like a well oiled machine, like they'd been touring this whole time. Absolutely LOVED the animation during the opening! I was hoping War Machine would be part of the set and was totally blown away. Thank you Brian, Angus, Malcolm, Cliff and Phil from a die hard fan!

    By Chewy, Pennington Gap, VA:

All I can Say is totally freakin' awesome. AC/DC have been my heroes since my dad introduced them to me at around five years old. My entire life I dreamed of seeing them live on stage. Dec 18 was that dream come true. I was so blown away i couldn't help to get excitingly emotional when the boys hit the stage. I couldn't even think of actually using my seat which I gladly paid for. And will again if given the chance. I will always remember the best show i ever seen AC/DC rules. Keep on rockin boys. And ride on Bon we will always remember you.

    By Scott Merkel, Sevierville, TN:
Took my daughter and her friend to Charlotte. Was blown away by the stage show, especially the "Rock & Roll Train" intro. This was by far the best sounding concert that I've ever seen (even the Back in Black tour). Brian Johnson's voice was at his best. Angus' solos were spectacular. In whole, this was well worth the money spent. Hopefully, this is not the last we'll see of the boys! Long live AC/DC!!!

Took 15 year old son. Always told him if they came back we would go and get good seats. Went on line before tickets were available to Buy Now Tickets Did not expect to pay over $1,000 for two seats in my life but I did, not even front row. I should be up for two awards. Father of the year and Idiot of the year. Great show Great band as always have seen them 4 times since 1980 and will see them again after i hit the lottery.
