Best concert I have ever attended. I took my 10yr old son and we had a blast. What an incredible show. These guys put on a great show. Thanks for the ride guys!

By Steve, Baker, FL:
The guys put on another great show. When you go 8 years between their concerts it doesn't really matter what they play because it is an awesome experience. With that said heres my soap box.
Nothing off of the Ballbreaker album. My opinion, but it's one of their better albums and with no representation that just plain sucks! Where was 'Stiff Upper Lip'? What is it gonna take for me to get a the opportunity to hear 'Gone Shootin' or 'Big Gun' live?
As the show went on the volume got louder and louder which makes it BETTER and BETTER!!! The intro video was awesome and Rock 'n Roll Train is bad to the bone when played live!
Great show and looking forward to the next time. If you've never seen them play live or missed them, don't wait. Go see them. I drove 700 miles this time.

Upstaging did not do the production for this particular show. Too bad because I noticed a difference in the sound. Need "Opie" back heading up the production... Still rocked, going to Charlotte tomorrow night. If anyone needs pictures of Sarstock OR "Whole Lotta Roseland", lemme know. PS. Where's all of the boys from Europe (Carl, Fritz, etc...)

After seeing AC/DC eight times over the years I was pretty sure I'd just about seen it all and I wouldn't be near as excited to see them as in years before. However, as the weeks passed from the time we got the tickets until Dec. 12, 2008 the anticipation only grew. By the time we arrived at the AT&T center in San Antonio, the excitement was already just about over the top. The parking lot was full of fans who were already screaming loudly. Some were dressed like Angus while others just sat at their cars cranking out AC/DC tunes. By the time we struggled our way through all the security and finally made it to our seats that familiar excitement was back full throttle.
I didn’t spend much time listening to the opening act The Answer because I was out getting a t-shirt, but they sounded good from what I did hear. We finally got settled into our seats just in time for the lights to go out and to hear the great roar of the San Antonio crowd. Everyone was instantly on their feet and screaming wildly and didn't sit down for the rest of the night. The two-minute cartoon intro that began to play on the giant video screen behind the stage was the perfect build-up. When the video screen exploded and Angus came running out, the place went nuts. Rock and Roll Train was so powerful and loud that it absolutely shook the AT&T center. The rest of the set list did too as it included Hell Ain’t a Bad Place To Be, Back in Black, Big Jack, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Thunderstruck, Black Ice, The Jack, Hells Bells, Shoot to Thrill, War Machine, Anything Goes, Shook Me All Night Long, TNT, Whole Lotta Rosie, Let there be rock, Highway to Hell, and of course For Those About to Rock, We Salute You.
Highlights --
It's pretty hard to pick just a few highlights from a night full of great memories but hearing Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be as the second song was great. That song has been a favorite of mine since hearing Bon Scott sing it on If You Want Blood, You Got It and to hear it live once again after all these years was great.
Brian Johnson's voice has been strained a lot over the years but he sounded terrific in San Antonio. Angus is always THE SHOW but Brian Johnson at times more than held his own as he prowled the runway and enthusiastically fired up the crowd.
War Machine was as strong and powerful as any classic AC/DC song. The crowd loved singing along to it as a pretty cool video played on the giant video screens.
Rosie riding the train during Whole Lotta Rosie absolutely whipped the crowd into frenzy. The crowd had been standing, chanting, and screaming for more than an hour at the point and still that song, combined with the amazing guitar work by Angus and the inflatable Rosie, took the crowd to a whole different level.
ANGUS YOUNG. For years he has entertained us all but even after all of the concerts and all of the performances all over the world, he still delivers. Angus always seems as if he is giving every last ounce of energy just to give us our money's worth. His playing all night was amazing but THE highlight was his 4 or 5 minute guitar solo during Let there be Rock. I thought I'd seen them do just about everything to feature Angus but his playing on that solo in front of the huge video screen was THRILLING.
Obviously I’m an AC/DC fan and have been for years. There are millions out there that love AC/DC but it seems that here recently many others have suddenly "discovered" the band. However, even with all of the merchandising at Wal-Mart, the cover of Rolling Stone and all of the other media attention some things never change. Whether its 1981, 1996, 2000, or 2008, AC/DC still comes around and delivers a powerful, loud, exciting punch of guitar driven, pure rock and roll. AC/DC rocked San Antonio.

By Evan Andreolli, San Antonio, TX:
I used to think Iron Maiden was the best live performance you could ever see. I was wrong even though Maiden is right up there with AC/DC in my favorite bands. I was extremely excited to finally be able to see the guys that originally got me into music, I never thought I'd get to see em' live but when those tickets went on sale I jumped on them.(I'm 16). When that show started it was better than anything I expected. (The plug me in DVD led me to believe Angus was less exciting now than in the 70's). But the exceeded all my expectations that was one hell of a show. They played 3 songs off my favorite album Let There Be Rock so I was pleased even though I love all the songs they played. They certainly delivered firing up the crowd like crazy, I know understand why they prefer playing in arenas. You just can't beat it. All in all the performance convinced me this is the best band around. Malcolm and Ang are geniuses, I don't care what anybody says. This band kicks ass after 35 years, bottom line.

Was the best experience every! They rocked the house! They've got to make another tour next year! Same time same place! I will be there for sure!

Awesome show, the boys are still kicking ass... I hope they got one more CD (or more) left in them. Would love to see them again. First time I saw them was in 1983 FLICK OF THE SWITCH tour... Have been a fan since the DIRTY DEEDS album.
