We attended the second Oakland show. Naturally it was a sellout show. All we can say is that AC/DC ROCKED OAKLAND from the first chord all the way to the final cannon blast with a balls to the walls, full speed ahead, non-stop rock & roll show from the great days of arena rock!!! They say that some other band from England is the worlds greatest rock & roll band...NO WAY!!!! The worlds GREATEST rock & roll band are the boys from down under...AC/DC. This was the concert of the year. If you missed it, all we can say is you missed one hell of a great show.

This was the 5th time that I've seen them (saw Razor's Edge, Ballbreaker and Stiff Upper Lip (x2) tours) and to be honest I was pretty underwhelmed this time. Maybe part of it was seeing the set list online (that seems to be the same for all of the shows) but really I think the main thing that I didn't like was how totally scripted everything felt. The crows was into it but the band looks/ed much slower than the last time I saw them and even Angus moving around felt scripted. It seemed like he was duck walking to a specific camera placement. There was energy but it felt contained if you know what I mean. It didn't feel like a rock and roll show in that it didn't feel like anything could happen aside from what the plan was. The set was also pretty short.

They still ROCK!!! I have seen them every time they have been to the SF Bay Area starting back in 1978 and they blow. AC/DC is by far the best musical group around. I LOVE ANGUS!!!!
