I had not even heard of AC/DC when I went to the concert. I was there to see Journey. I was surprised and pleased at the high energy show and crazy rock music. I'd never seen anyone like them before. Ran home and bought everything of theirs I could find !!

My buddy and I went to see AC/DC. The first group New England sucked. AC/DC was GREAT! The thing I remember most was Bon Scott carrying Angus on his shoulders all the way around the floor of Tarrant county convention center while he was playing. Angus never stopped moving in the whole set. I listened to about 5 journey songs and took a nap. AC/DC owned that show!

Sorry, I wasn't there so this isn't a review but here's an interesting fact...apparently they played Big Balls at this gig:

"Hirsh Gardner (New England): We were lucky enough to do some shows with them on Bon Scott’s last American tour before his death. I remember shaking when the band played this song [Big Balls] in Fort Worth, Texas. Bon and Angus are the down and dirty Lennon and McCartney."

By Jay Dalton, Georgetown, TX:
I had seen Journey in 1978 at the Texxas Jam at the Cotton Bowl but had horrible seats. (Yes, it was spelled Texxas Jam) So I was excited to see them in a more intimate setting. Didn’t know anything about AC/DC but was blown away by the energy. I also remember Bon carrying Angus around the arena. When they walked off stage, I thought to myself...what did I just see? Wasn’t long after that when Bon passed. I was devastated. I feel very lucky to have seen the band with Bon out front. Incredible show.
