This show was a life changer for me... the pure rock and roll power was simply amazing. Arguably the best live performance I have ever seen including the likes of Live Aid, Glastonbury, and Bonnaroo(s)... was 4th row center, simply awesome!!! Still looking for a bootleg of this show... incredible energy, Angus and the boys in high gear!! My ears rang for 3 days...blew the doors of the Capitol Center!

The Capital Centre had a concert series in the summer of '79 called "The Summer Fun Concert Series," and all shows were $5.00. AC/DC (with Bon Scott) and UFO for 5 bucks!! UFO opened and they kicked ass. They even had a nude woman dancing on top of the stacks of speakers during the show! AC/DC was equally as good. Bon Scott carried Angus Young on his shoulders during his guitar solo,off of the stage and into many of the aisles in the Capital Centre, covering the majority of the arena. Excellent show!!

AC/DC. Bon Scott. The best concert I've ever seen. Bon carried Angus throughout the audience. Right close to me! People grabbing at Angus while he played. He just booted them as he sat on Bon's shoulders. Awesome, awesome, awesome! Great sound, at the top of their game. And tickets were $4.50. UFO was there, and they burnt the stage up. Very awesome.
