I will never forget it as long as I live. Tallas played that night because AC/DC could not make it and man could they put on a show, Billy Sheehan and the boys made UFO wished they stayed home that night. AC/DC had come back one week later and just showed all of us something that no other band had ever done in the past in this country. Showed us their ass. And kicked ours!!! Sin city.

The accurate account of what happened that night is this... UFO was stopped at the Canada/US border. They were unable to perform. I didn't feel bad at that announcement because AC/DC was the band I wanted to see. They were the only band to play that night in beautiful Sheas Theater. We were treated to an extra long set of rock and roll. An unforgettable night of wicked raw rock, complete with Bon Scott running up and down the aisles of Sheas with Angus on his shoulders jammin away! unforgettable. 44svb

Vince, you are correct. I was 13 and somehow talked my mom and into buying my buddy and me tickets and driving two hours to drop us off at Shea's that night for the show. As if that wan't great enough, we got inside and discovered our seats were in the SECOND ROW from the stage.

UFO got detained and after a very long delay, AC/DC came out and played their 2nd set. It was so damn great. My ears rang for three days. I've been to hundreds of shows since and nothing has ever matched it.

Bon Scott running around the arena with Angus on his shoulders during Let There Be Rock was a spectacle I've never seen duplicated.

I also was at this concert, I remember Bon Scott carrying Angus all through the aisles and even up to the second floor balcony. What an epic show. I was a little bummed about UFO being detained at the border as I was a big fan of theirs as well.

I do recall Talas being called to fill in at the last minute but I may be mistaken, anyhow Billy Sheenan is a master at the bass and I was lucky to be able to see Bon Scott and the boys while he was still alive!
