Had never heard of AC/DC before that day, have never forgotten them since. They became the standard by which I measured all other live bands by after that day. They were AWESOME!

By Kenneth Schwarz , Fort pierce, Florida , USA :
This was the most kick ass concert ever, Angus played on the shoulders of of a guy that carried him from the stage, across the entire football field, to the opposite end zone, then up to the top level of the Tangerine Bowl (now the citrus bowl), then carried him around the top level to the fifty yard line, back down to the center of the field , then back to the stage. Angus never missed a note! It was almost a super human feat! ACDC was fairly new to our country but blew us all away! My ears rang literally for 3 days, with accompanying hyperaucusia, it was awesome. Boston had 5 encores, played all there hits! Doobie Bros and Poco were great as well. I was a freshman in college, sweet sweet memories!

Went with my friend Bob Walle. Sat atop one of the entrance covers to the stadium. About middle of the stadium right side facing stage.
Bon Scott commented on the big Australian flag someone hung from the back, top of the seats. Angus made a run on the shoulders of some dude and it was awesome. Bon Scott mooned the crowd. It was better than Boston IMO. But, Boston Rocked too. A month later I was in basic training. What a send off!

Bad to the bone concert for ACDC! I am still deaf with no regrets. Too bad Bon was dead less than a year later. I guess you live by the sword... Btw. Poco did not play that show. Cheap Trick did. Thanks for the terrific memories boys! 27 May 1979. Tangerine Bowl

    By Rick Skiba, Rutland Vermont:
My mom took us to concerts often starting probably when I was nine I believe, so it was around 74-75. Saw a lot of greats. I had the live music bug for sure. Then came this show, All I can say is this 13 year old was hooked. This was the first concert I got to go to on my own, and it was AC/DC with Bon Scott. I could not get over that sound, I mean nothing else mattered to me after they left the stage. Nobody can top that, I said over and over that day. This performance was burned into my brain, and drove me to the harder side of music. It changed me from then on. So you can say it was this AC/DC show, that set my musical taste for many years. I have been to over 500 shows in my life. My record store in Rutland Vermont, has put on over 150 shows in the last 3 years.
Yes, I still have the live music bug.

By Gary Lowery , Port Orchard :
Hands down, the best concert I have ever attended! Each band was great but AC/DC truly brought their A game! Almost got ran over by Angus and the mountain of a man carrying him on his shoulders. They were so close I could hear the strings on his guitar and music blasting from the stage. It was an incredibly unforgettable experience!!
