The loudest band I had heard! I had never seen guitar players like Angus Young and Malcom Young. There was no one who could run around all the time and play lead guitar as Angus did and Malcolm Young is the best Rhythm Guitar player ever hands down they are and will always be legendary and no one sang and screamed like Bon and no one ever will he was and still is legendary and their songwriting was legendary also out of this world. I was hooked from day 1 with them especially this first time seeing them live I had just turned 19. Len Trumper who promoted the show had unleashed some frisbees which had the concert info printed on them: UFO AND ACDC May 18 1979 Armory Springfield, il a whatever production. I was fortunate to get one of these rare gems, it was orange with black printing still have it 41 years later. I have amassed one of the biggest collections of AC/DC records and memorabilia probably in the top 3 or 5 collectors in the world the rarest of the rare from NZ and Australia and and many many nations I miss seeing them and their high energized powered shows there will never be anyone like ACDC the best of the best

We were 22 when we experienced the wildest rock show EVER. The band played songs back to back and put on a very polished show. Angus was Angus, but Bon was the show. It was obvious they were there to RIP the roof off, and they did! It was jaw dropping to say the least. I'm scanning 35mm slides I'll post them soon. There's more to the story. We met Bon briefly outside. The bus had reverse go out and we helped push it.

I was a senior in high school with a couple weeks left until it was over. Had been listening to AC/DC for a year and a half before this show. Being way before the internet and subscribing to no music magazines, I had no idea about Angus or the boys or even what they looked like in person. Just knew there music from "High Voltage", "Let there be Rock", and "Powerage". They came out and started to play and Angus was just going crazy. And so was the crowd. Never seen or heard anybody play the guitar so clean and so great and with so much energy. By far the best concert experience I ever had. I started guitar lessens in less than a week.

I was 16. My second concert. Was up in the Balcony. Remember Bon carrying Angus on his shoulders through the floor crowd. Best times back then.
