This show was great!! The Coliseum was filled. Angus rode the shoulders of his roadies/security out into the crowd while playing and was affectionately mobbed. That's rock'n roll! He kept that two-step of his up for the entire show. High energy rock non-stop. Fantastic! I'm sure the entire crowd left exhausted from dancing, I certainly did.
UFO were the headline act at the time. I believe Col's was the only show on the tour that AC/DC headlined. Columbus rocks! Thank you promoters.
In those days, the bands played almost every single night and in a different city every day. They had a rare night off before this concert then it was back to blowing away the rest of The States east of the Mississippi. Amazing stamina and they never failed to rock the place out. Bon Scott is sadly missed, but with the happy addition of Brian Johnson, they are still filling venues and are still going strong. Long live AC/DC.

I was 20 yrs old and first concert. I didn't plan to go but a friend, that had already bought his ticket, couldn't go, so I grabbed it. Glad I did. Great concert, Great seats. My seat was next to isle way steps looking directly at the stage. Don't remember what song it was but during an Angus lead they carried him, lying on his back, through the standing crowd handed him over the wall and he came running back out on stage never missing a lick. Worse memory, some drunk kid sat down on the steps next to me and puked, then proceeded to get up and fell back down in his puke. At least he cleaned some of it up with the seat of his pants. Best memory, seeing Bon Scott preform before he passed.

It was my junior year of high school, general admission show, so me and a friend cut school and got there in the early afternoon. We played frisbee in the parking lot to kill time until the line started forming. Ended up about 20 feet from the stage, one of the best concerts I've ever seen! Loud, rowdy, and AC/DC with Bon Scott, INCREDIBLE!

Great show.....I was looking at the song list and I remember the crowd started yelling "T.N.T" and they did an encore and played the song. Does anyone else remember that? Either it happened or the ludes kicked my ass!

This concert changed my life, I went home and learned the entire album strangers in the night, if I remember correctly that show was the first time AC/DC played highway to hell for the first time live. I didn't even know about the show, my cousin showed up and picked me up,and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

High Voltage Rock-N-Roll !!! This concert made me an AC/DC fan for life.
I was 14 , my older brother took me to my first concert and I was blown away. The arena was filled with smoke and people were throwing frisbees on the arena floor before the show. It was general admission and there were no seats on the main floor. Very different atmosphere from concerts today. Angus was full throttle the whole show riding a roadies shoulders into the crowd, duckwalking ,crashing to the stage floor, but never stopped playing. They introduced a new song from the upcoming album, and played HIGHWAY TO HELL. Incredible...

General admission, up against the barricade all through UFO and AC/DC. I went with my friends Joe and Bob. Crank up Strangers In The Night, then If You Want Blood, and you’ll get the feel of this show. Fifteen years old then, and a STILL one of the best shows I ever saw!
