I remember this gig well ... when they let us in to the gig the whole place had been set up with rows of dark blue velour/chrome seats - sets of four seats clipped together side by side to form long rows ... like you might have for an evening of Classical Music !!!!
As soon as the lights went down everybody just picked up the seats and passed them back over their heads to form a huge pile at the back of the room! The lights came back on and the management came on the PA to say that AC/DC wouldn't perform unless the seats were put back!!!!
Anyhow a few random sets of seats were passed forward, the lights went down and the band came on ... and all the seats were promptly hoisted back to the heap at the back!!
The highlight of the gig was when Angus climbed onto the shoulders of Bon Scott and Bon walked amongst the crowd singing with Angus on his shoulders playing! What a night!!!! Great memories ;-)

I remember this gig for a few remarkable things apart from the amazing performance. All the temporary seats were removed by the audience, or maybe the security guys, as soon as the band started up, which was great as we all were standing in any case. I can't imagine sitting down at an AC/DC concert ! Also, it was the first time I had seen a guitar with a radio - transmitter thing plugged into the jack socket which transmitted to the amp and PA system....meaning that Angus could play with even more animation than previously, I guess. I seem to remember that there was at the time a series on BBC2 on a Saturday evening called Rock Goes to College, which featured big bands playing on the then-thriving University circuit, and I remember the band had recently appeared on this, with Angus cavorting around in the circle seats or something....and wondering how on earth he was managing that. So now I knew !
The other thing was after the final number when the band disappeared off the stage and we all did the usual encore clapping and shouting. Then we could hear Angus starting up a song, but there was nobody on stage! All of a sudden the doors at the back of the hall opened up and we all turned to see Bon walking in with Angus on his shoulders, playing away. They made their sweaty way down the aisle and joined the rest of the guys on stage. What an entrance. Unforgettable gig.
