I was home on leave from the army. I had been listening to both AC/DC and Cheap Trick for months. I came home and found them both on the bill. I got all my friends together and told them what great bands they both were. We shelled out our $4.00 for the show. Can you believe that? Wow what a night the boy's came out and totally rocked the house. The stage was set up in the middle of the coliseum floor and people only seated in half of the venue. Total of about 5,000 people. AC/DC rocked like they had filled Madison Square Garden. It was a nonstop headbangers ball. At one point in the show Angus got on Bon's shoulders and he went up and down the ailes of the crowd jamming as he went. We were all blown away. My friends have been fans since. I have seen them twice since and every show rocks, I have plans to see them in Greensboro in Oct of 09, Knowing it will be another show of shows, this time I am taking my son along as the band said it best. "For those about to rock, we salute you" Thanks guys!

I was sitting first seat off the floor in the middle. They only used half the coliseum, Cheap Trick opened. Then AC/DC tore the place down. Angus got on Bons shoulders and came right in front of me slinging sweat. I reached out and patted him on the back. Rick Nielsen for Cheap Trick threw A guitar pick so far it landed in front of me I still have it. I saw Bon one more time before he died in Charlotte NC. Greensboro show was the best show I ever saw. I just got tickets to the show for March 14 2015 only a few seats away from where I sat in in 1977, I can't wait. Bon and the boys still play wide open in my car and my party room at home. MONROE
