By Peter Kennett, Brentford:
Glad to be first to write on this Gig. My Brother and I,(both amateur musicians) would attend West London pub gigs 2 or 3 times a week, and all I remember are 4 things. 1-It blew our minds as the most amazing gig we had ever seen. (well! not likely to forget that, am I). 2-Angus on the shoulders of a Roadie running up and down Hammersmith Road playing a solo while the rest of the Band carried on playing in the pub. 3-There were never more than about 30 people present. 4- there was definitely some cover versions in the set. (I seem to remember Johnny Be Good). Sorry I cant remember more; many moons have passed since that evening.

By Don Morrison, Adelaide:
I remember the chalk board sign outside the Red Cow - "Tonight and tomorrow night -ACDC from Australia". I saw it from the bus on my way home from work. I tried to get all my (mostly Aussie) housemates in Putney to go that night but they were all going to see Patti Smith so I went alone. There was only ever about 30 people there that night. I had a good chat about Adelaide with Bon after the gig - that's how casual it was. My housemates went the next night and they said it was packed. So it happened over two nights, not one. For what it's worth, that's how I remember it.
