Public en fusion, concert énorme. Et la chance d'avoir Ride On... avec les maillots de l'équipe de France en plus (et oui, je suis chauvin) enfin sauf Malcolm. Voir AC/DC au stade de France... impensable à l'époque. Et là, SOLD OUT! on se rend compte qu'on est pas tout seul à aimer encore le rock et bordel, ça fait du bien! Un super souvenir

I knew this was going to be a special gig, but I couldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams just how special. I could hear the crowd roaring in the stadium as I walked up from the Metro station, and that was 3 hours before AC/DC came on stage! The daylight was starting to fade when after the initial Angus Statue video, the opening chords of Stiff Upper Lip shredded the vast crowd before Angus appeared stage left to a deafening roar of appreciation. Having been to the Milton Keynes gig I knew the setlist was brilliant - "Problem Child" & "Up To My Neck In You" sounded as fresh as the day they were first released, "Money Honey" was just magic, "Highway to Hell" awesome, "LTBR" a masterpiece, but lets face it, you know what you get with AC/DC - no surprises - right? In Munich they had broken with convention and come back on stage after "FTATR" and when the stage lights remained dimmed in Paris I was hoping that we would see a repeat. Many had already made their way to the exits when the band reappeared dressed in France football shirts and Brian said quietly under his breath "This is a Bon Scott song". But it wasn't just any Bon song - it was "RIDE ON" they started to play. The defining song of Bon's entire repertoire, the one song I (and millions of other accadacca fanatics worldwide) had longed to hear live but never ever expected to be played in my wildest dreams. Played full of feeling and blues swagger, respectfully true to Bon's memory, Brian had a massive responsibility to deliver on that one emotional song. He proved what a giant of a man he is inside that pint sized exterior with a spine tingling but at the same time humble performance. This was a defining moment in rock n roll history and I am privileged to say - I was there.
