Well to start of I have to compare this concert to my seeing the Beatles years ago, I am 53 years old an the long awaited chance compared to that, the excitement of seeing AC/DC was so wonderful. I took my 16 year old son, and he likes Korn, and had told me AC/DC could not be as good as Korn. Well he changed his mind real quick. AC/DC rocked St Louis an we both smoked an rocked, thank you AC/DC for bringing me an my son closer together, and a long time dream of mine finally come true a chance to finally see AC/DC, and they did not let down it was awesome. I have to say in closing I have seen all the great rockers from the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Doors, etc, and I really mean AC/DC is the best and always will be till I die, and when that time comes I hope I am listening to an AC/DC song!

You didn't need to spend a single night in the backseat of Scott Chasin's Camaro the summer of 1980 listening to the Back in Black album repeatedly to fully appreciate what we witnessed last night at the Savvis Center.
But it sure would've helped.
Here's my report:
The guys I went with stayed close to the beer during Slash's Snake Pit. I went down to check them out. My opinion is yes, they were noisy as hell but also were better than the previous reviews reported. Plus, they only played a half hour and unlike other opening acts who stay on too long, these guys understood why we were there. Mr Brownstone was the highlight.
The thunder from down under came on less than a half hour later. The looked and sounded great. We were lucky enough to experience it from the 2nd row. Seeing every odd face Angus makes really increased the entertainment value. The band really interacted a lot with the crowd.
Here are the other things they did right:
1) Played only one or two newer tunes, respecting the fact that we came to hear the songs we grew up with.
2) Started the show promptly to cater to the employed members of the audience.
3) Focused total attention on Brian and Angus. I respect the other three members who know their roles and seem content to stay in the background.
4) Never stopped moving. They did a great job not alienating any part of the arena.
Truly an A+ show. Now, if my ears would only stop ringing.

WOW!! What a performance that one was. It was my very first concert and I'm very proud to say that it was AC/DC. And man it was loud. Took two days for my ears to clear up. Good to hear Hell ain't a bad place and Bad Boy Boogie. That has to be the best Angus strip song ever. And speaking of the band they looked great. Angus and Brian running around like they were still teenagers, Mal, Cliff and Phil rockin' the rhythm section keeping in perfect sequence. I agree with the guy who said that they have to be the tightest rhythm section going today. Wish I could have heard Get It Hot cause it is one of my favorites, but Safe In New York City was played well as it's replacement. Loved the huge fireballs in Highway To Hell, the cannon blasts in FTATR, the big Angus statue and of course all the beautiful women flashing those boobies during The Jack. Got a real kick out of that. Even took a picture of the monitor whilst it was going on. Hope it turned out good. Every note of every song was played with so much POWER and effort. It was a real thrill to see these incredible men do their work. And they were having a good time doing it. Brian ran up and down the walk way on the floor slapping five to all the fans who got to him. And Angus letting the fans know he wanted to hear them yell loud. It was great. Can't wait to see them again soon (hopefully in Memphis next year). Can't stop Rn'R and you will never ever stop AC/DC.
