I was a very young teenager at the time. My very first experience of live music. I remember being really excited… which dissipated when the crush started. I was trapped in a sea of teenagers and couldn’t breathe, so had to be assisted away.
It wasn’t the happiest day of my life at the time … far from it. But there is a certain amount of kudos in being able to say I was “there”. I’ve dined out on that one quite a bit over the years.
