This was the day of my uncle's funeral (an arrogant priest who was embarrassment to be with in public). I chose the AC/DC show instead.

I went with my friend Mark. He said loud music made it hard for him to talk afterwards. Sure enough, after the show he was talking like his tongue was numb. He bought a t-shirt, I bought a tour book.

L.A. Guns were really good. AC/DC were better. When it came time for Angus to show his buns, I said to Mark "Don't blink." So Angus lowers his shorts to reveal Union Jack boxers, swiveling hips and all.

Great time.

I got last minute tickets and was able to land 5th row tickets. I paid about $100 each. I went with my wife, right after work... it was mad. Great concert, so much energy. I couldn't believe I pulled it off at the last minute. Got really lucky but was there front row - will never forget it.
