By Joannis Stefanidis, Berlin, Germany:
I was there. It was kind of a step back for AC/DC in Berlin, because last time they had been there was during the BIB tour in 1980 and they had played a much bigger venue then, namely Deutschlandhalle.
Anyway anticipation was high, Dokken were alright and then AC/DC started with WHO MADE WHO. Big entry. Angus came up behind the drums on some kind of riser platform (not in the rocket they had used in the US) and strutted along on top of the backline. When the band fully kicked in he jumped down onto the stage. It was a big lightshow, I do remember, but because of Phil Rudd's absence, it felt different. The groove was somehow lacking. But still, 6000 people had a great time and did enjoy the songs from their then current BUYV-album (the played Heatseeker, Thats The way, Nick Of Time, but of course the classics went down best.
