I very well remember this powerfull show. Still one of the best concerts I have been to. Two buddies and me front row!! I had written the AC/DC logo on my chest with a black eding pen. It was gone by the end of the show from sweating so hard. The opener Judas Priest were well received and played a good set. When AC/DC came out I remember them being very loud - and it was goooood !!
Unfortunately the sound wasn't the best due to the venue which was an old exhibition hall that was torn down a few years later. But it also contributed to the rawness and dirt in the music. Bon was my hero back then and still is. What a great memory. I am thankful that I got to see Bon shortly before he passed away.

My very first concert ... what a great memory!
Me, 12 years old, together with my best friend alone between crowds of hard, tough and at least 10 years older guys. Some of them so scary in leather and tattooed all over. Exactly those guys, that our parents had warn us of ...:-D
And .... they were the nicest people to us. Just looked as us, laughing and pulled us up on their shoulders, let us joyn their party and ... today unbelievable, handed us their whiskey-bottles, that they had brought with. No, it hadn´t hurt us then, as we enjoyed it and this story til today.
The opener Judas Priest ... nearly unknown at that time, but a real surprising and great gig.
Then AC/DC with a brutal loud but asskicking show. Angus rocked the stage like a devil, Bon with a whiskey bottle in one hand, in the other the micro and top voice, the rhythm of the band and that massive wall of sound 5m in front of a speaker-wall, nearly blew me away. It was the most impressive thing I ever had til that day. I remember sitting on the shoulder of a giant in a leatherjacket and jeans vest, banging my head so hard, that the bassist had to laugh at seeing me :-D
This concert, but not only the band, the circumstances at all had made this day to one of my greatest days in life. After the concert my little friend and me walked home, as if we were 2m high and nobody could beat us up. Still laughing at that, 40 years later.
Thanks AC/DC for moments that last forever in my life!

After seeing the Frantic Four (Status Quo) just a couple of month earlier it was my 2nd concert I've ever been to! I saw Bon Scott live and yeah I know I'm a very lucky man!
Right what Nik wrote about leather Rockers all over the place, they were so friendly to us "young people' (14 years)! I remember we all sat down before the gig and then the good old "waving" of the crowd began. There were moments you had no contact to the ground.
The highlight was Bon next to us with Angus on his shoulders!
I've been there again for both days on the BIB tour. It was great but it'll never be the same!
