I was lucky enough to see them 3 times in Jan/Feb from Wellington - Melbourne - Brisbane. This was my final stop on the Black Ice Rock n Roll Train (4th show Adelaide 2 Mar 2010). What a great night, and what a great venue.
From the History of the Adelaide Oval and the Cathedral in the background. To the Full Moon on the night. It was always going to be Special !!!
From the Train crashing onto the stage and the 1st note of Rock n Roll Train. The crowd was into IT !
The crowd went nuts for Back in Black... all 43000 singing along. Dirty Deeds just rocked and then the crowd went into a frenzy for Thunderstruck!!!
The Jack and the Angus guitar work was special... a few Adelaide girls got em out for the boys during the chorus :-)
Then the show hits overdrive..... TNT, YSMANL, War Machine, Rosie, Shoot to Thrill..... WOW... what a set list...
Let there be Rock was "Majestic"... Angus is the Greatest riff master of all times.
Then the Encore
Highway to Hell - what a classic
For those about to Rock - We should SALUTE AC/DC....... The Greatest LIVE Rock band of all time !!!
Long Live AC/DC - hope you'll be back again soon !!!

My 5th time. This was the best. Great opener. I expected louder but the quality of sound was good. Brian is fantastic. He is a real showman and his voice was certainly better than on Ballbreaker or Stiff Upper Lip tour. "War Machine" surprised me. I wasn't a huge fan of the song but they did a great job and changed my opinion. My wife and 13 year old stepson thought "Shoot to Thrill" came across the best but the whole set was fantastic. I thought it was refreshing having more than the usual songs from the new album. "Big Jack" stood out for me. Great chunky hit in my eyes. Pity "Anything Goes" was missing. And yes, the older songs played are necessary. Imagine the outcry if TNT, You shook me, Rosie etc were not done. They can't just cater to the hardcore but need to consider the casual fan. They probably won't be back and I'm so glad I got to be there. Once again, I thought the Adelaide crowd could have been better and my wife reckons she detected a note of frustration in Brian Johnson when the crowd weren't firing up. I thought maybe because Adelaide only got the 1 concert and the band met Bon Scott here we may get an extra song or a special mention but not to be. But it didn't matter. The fireworks at the end were a good touch too. I went home happy with program, horns, Angus tie, great photos and memories. I'll be following the rest of tour on this great site. And have everyday almost since Wilks-Barre. Cheers. Mark
