I finally got to go and see my dream come true and see AC/DC in concert in Sydney on the 18 of February. On the day I was so excited the day went in a blurr. As a young mum I could never afford a ticket to see my favorite band so time went on. Finally at 55 I got a ticket, my daughter went with me she was so happy for me as I never gave myself any thing over the years. The night of the concert was magical my insides just jittered all night a night I will remember for the rest of my life. I had one wish would be to meet AC/DC there only thing I have ever wanted so bad I ache to meet them, the best concert that has ever performed or ever will again. If its possible they sound better live then listing to their CD the excitement I felt is still with more then 3 weeks later a melting feeling. I put a CD on now I get lost in the moment of feeling like in at the concert. Thank you AC/DC for giving me a magical night of my life.

I've just got back from the AC/DC show at the Olympic Stadium in Sydney. This was the 5th time I had seen the boys since 1988. The show itself was spectacular and the boys put on a great spectacle.
Too bad the crowd in Sydney was dead as and only showed there appreciation during the big hits. But then again when you have a set list containing 4 new songs and a bunch of material that your casual AC/DC fan hasn't heard of, well then you'll get that typical crowd response here in Australia.
The encore of 2 songs was disappointing as well.
As for the positives, Dirty Deeds, Thunderstruck, Whole Lotta Rosie and Highway to Hell sounded incredible and the sound was pretty good for a Stadium Show. By the way it was loud too.
All in all a great show, but the Greatest Show On earth? Sorry a little flat for me tonight, although the boys can still rock when they want too.

Another great show - another flat Australian audience unfortunately.
I have agreed with all the comments throughout the tour that four tracks from the new album is too much when they have the best back catalogue in the world, but it's still a better show than any other band on earth - and even middling AC/DC songs are better than most groups' best songs!
But life's too short not to enjoy things, so just celebrate the fact that the greatest band on earth has come to your city - and let's hope the rest of the Oz audiences have a bit of energy!

Wow! I almost forgot how inspiring AC/DC were! The passion, the energy! I remember my dad taking me in 96 and wanting to be like Angus and in 2010 I still want to be him. Same set as the previous Oz/NZ shows! Awesome to hear High Voltage and the new song War Machine sounded great love. 5th time seeing the band.
The half a step down tuning of the guitars took 1 or 2 songs to get used but the sound was fantastic! 80,000 fans! So for those about to rock "I" salute AC/DC for a great show.

Got to the ground at 9.30am had to wait 8 hours before gates opened. We were 4th in line... Ran to the front of the stadium when gates opened. Had the BEST spot could see them so clearly. Was the best night of my life! Was so loud and so clear the sound was great! Put on such a great show even after all these years Angus still has it and Brian Johnson has never sounded better. Without a doubt the best live performance I've ever seen.

As a first timer to an AC/DC concert but rabid fan I had mixed emotions about what to expect from them on Thursday the 18th of February 2010. Could they still hold it together? would the show be like Donington or No Bull or any other DVD of them I'd seen?? Well, from the opening A chord of Rock n' Roll train till the final blast of the cannon in For Those about to Rock all these mixed emotions were blown out of the water, as Angus and Brian graced the stage all night long for the 2 hour set. Malcolm, Phil and Cliff at the back solid as a rock who held a beat like a timer. The 55 year old schoolboy ripped into his SG just like he had as a 21 year old, so from seeing that, theres no excusing old age as a reason for slowing down. The crowd warmed up by the time "the jack" rolled around, with good sorts gettin em out for the lads, and all night as the stage went dark red lights from horns flickered all throughout the 70 000 strong crowd. Seeing these guys do what they do best is the pinnacle, if I had one complaint about their show it's that I'm not going again unfortunately. I really do wish I was, such an incredible show easily the best thing I've ever witnessed!!

Best Concert EVER!! Not only did AC/DC ROCKED!! The showmanship was brilliant, I mean come on they crashed a train through the stage, how awesome was THAT!! The sound was at ear bleeding levels (the appropriate sound level for anything by AC/DC), and was unreal. The atmosphere at the concert was excellent everyone got involved and loved it. It will be forever a remembered concert.
