As a 16-year-old school kid, I and one of my mates from school saved up to go and see AC/DC in Melbourne, and my mate's older sister and her boyfriend took us to the concert.

We only had tickets for Sunday but were in Melbourne on Saturday and were bored so we decided to go to the tennis center to see if we could get tickets. While we were waiting at the ticket booth early in the day one of the roadies came out and had a chat to us and gave us a wad of money talks cash which was amazing. We got our tickets right near the front of the stage and had an amazing night, one of the highlights of my life!

The next day we were at Luna park and saw Chris Slade and his wife and child, we had a quick chat with him (we didn't want to hassle him while he was in his free time) and he was such a nice guy. This blew our tiny minds. He showed us the callouses on his hands, the guy was earning his money!

On Sunday night we went to see AC/DC again and had another amazing time. Our ears were ringing for days after two concerts in a row but we couldn't wipe the smile off our faces.

These are some of the greatest memories from my childhood, and I am so glad I got to see my idols on stage.
