  Well, this was my 38th AC/DC show since first seeing them (four times!) in '76 - and my sixth 'SUL' concert. As usual, few complaints. The main one was the ridiculously early start. I had only just got to the Bowl and was trying to hook up with a friend I was supposed to be meeting and attempting to find an interesting t-shirt for an American pal, when the new, inroductory video started.
  This was a hoot! A monstrous Angus running amok - the music seemed to segueway seamlessly into live action, because suddenly the guys were there! This was about 8.15! I worked my way to the fron, then near the walkway and was blasted by the best music ever created for the best part of two hours. Every performance was superb, but obvious stan-outs were the inclusion of 'What do you do for money...' (what about adding 'Shake a Leg' from 'BIB', boys?) and the knock-out surprise of 'Up to My Neck in You' - I THINK we may have been the first audience to have that performed to us. Certainly, my set-list notes from the '70s don't include it. As Bri said, Bon would be looking down at that one!
  Without a doubt, this is the best rock band ever - and one whose live performances are so far ahead of anybody else that they will never be bettered. Angus and Bri worked their hearts out - sprinting along the very long walkway into the broiling mass that was the crowd more times than I'd have dared. Phil, cool as ever. kept the beat like machine gun bouncing bullets off a frying pan, while his two rhythm section buddies complemented his efforts brilliantly - Malc, mouth half-open, eyes half-closed and Cliff's cheery face occasionally peeping out through his shaggy mane.
  As usual, it seemed to be over in 20 minutes; can't remember the exact setlist, but as the collossus that is AC/DC belted out the impossibly catchy songs, I thought to myself it don't get much better than this. Although a little chilly, the wether was perfect - no rain or wind - but the early start, bright, cloudless day, near full moon and the approaching Solstice meant that as the last gargantuan power chords and cannon blast of 'For those about to...' crashed to a stupendous climactic finale, it was still quite light. Why could the concert not have started at about 9.30? That way, we would have benefitted from the atmospherics of darkness.
  Several times I phoned family and friends so that they could have a listen to the sweet boogie sounds that filled the air. They said the show sounded great!
  A lot of concertgoers were completely out of it by the time I arrived. I often wonder why people travel great distances to see a legend, then get smashed on booze or drugs. I had worked myself to the back of the crowd to catch the full spectacle of the encores and judging from the number of idiots who had to be carted off by the emergency services from this area, there must have been some bad smack or acid doing the rounds!)
  Anyway, 11 out of 10 for the band. And Roll on Paris. (Any other Brits going?) Please, guys come back next year, so I can reach 40 shows by my 40th birthday!

  This was my 24th AC/DC gig and they are still the best band on the planet! Similar to last year's shows in that all the normal classics were played. However, when the new video clip blasted out at the beginning and they started with Stiff Upper Lip rather than "You Shook Me..." the hardcore knew that tonight was going to include some special surprises! And it did! The band favoured Problem Child and Up To My Neck In You rather than Get It Hot and Shot Down in Flames from the Bon Scott era. Also Safe in New York City was dropped in favour of What Do You Do For Money Honey. The band were on top form as ever and still no one else comes near.

  Saw the band yesterday at the Milton Keynes Bowl and once again they played an absolute blinder of a set! To get the crowd warmed up there was a short video with the ‘Angus Statue’ getting upto various antics. The Band kicked off with ‘Stiff Upper Lip’ followed by ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’. We were treated to six songs from Back In Black during the show (three were played in succession), ‘What Do You Do For Money Honey’ was one, which I can’t recollect being played for at least the last four tours, it went down a storm!
  Brian was in a really jovial mood and showed no signs of the Flu virus that he’d suffered a few weeks ago in the US. Angus was playing on top form as usual, and as for the strongest rhythm section in Rock, Malcolm, Phil and Cliff were as solid as ever!
  Once again AC/DC gave everyone a REAL Rock ‘n’ Roll show, which I thank them for. Let’s just hope we don’t have to wait too long for the next tour!

  Did the dad thing on Friday and took my 13 year old son and his mates to Milton Keynes to see OFFSPRING - best part of the evening was watching them stand awe-struck as AC/DC hit the stage. Instant converts to the best in Rock. A great performance !

  This was my first AC/DC concert as I am only 18 and I have only got into them in the last year or so. They were absolutely amazing. Musically and visually the show was by far the best concert I have ever been to. They played the best songs on the 'Let There Be Rock' album including my favourite AC/DC song 'Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be'. They played all the classics I wasn't disappointed. Angus is a true rock'n'roll hero Brian Johnson is a star and the rest is as tight as you'll get for a rhythm section. I hope to see them again!

  Been a fan since `77 and seen `em many times.It`s always great to see AC/DC and the current tour shows have also been great despite playing the same set list night after night. So off to Milton Keynes to see the same show again.WRONG. At 8.15pm a video starts in the form of a news flash of the rampage across the world of a giant Angus statue,as the clip finishes with a wink of the statue`s eye AC/DC hit the stage playing Stiff Upper Lip. You Shook Me followed,Then came Surprise number two."Here`s one dedicated to you lot"says Brian and the classic Problem Child follows(haven`t played that live for twenty odd years).Next up was Thunderstruck,Hell Ain`t A Bad Place To Be,Hard As A Rock,Shoot To Thrill,Rock`n`Roll Ain`t Noise Pollution all played brilliantly.Then when we expected Safe In New York City we got What Do You Do For Money Honey which also sounded great.Bad Boy Boogie came with Hells Bells following.
  "Here`s an old one we haven`t done for a while" Up To My Neck In You came blasting out sound shit hot.The rest of the gig was as per normal,ie:- The Jack,Back In Black,Dirty Deeds,Highway To Hell,Whole Lotta Rosie,Let There Be Rock,TNT,For Those About Rock.
  The runway from centre of the stage came all the way out to the mixing desk tower which had a walkway all the way round so Angus could have an extra long walk.The event finished with a firework display as we left.Sound was fantastic much better than the tour.
  Only faults are sitting through crap bands to hear AC/DC, the bowl isn`t the best of venues(stage too small) and the crowd not the best,Angus looked tired not the usaul madman.Still a great show though.

  Hello you lot. Well its the morning after ; and as usual for the worlds greatest Rock n Roll band they played a storming set for the band and crowd to be proud of.
  At the unearthly hour of 2010hrs, with the evening sunshine bathing the crowd, the video screens burst into life proclaiming the news that the 40ft Angus statue had been 'taken-out' King Kong style and was in deep trouble.... but wait... as the chords of Stiff Upper Lip crackle into life the band & statue hit the stage.
  They sound awsome straight away, the P.A fantastic and as ever with this band everybody doing their job, getting on with it and playing some of the greatest tunes known to man.
  Brian was in great form, grinning & growling; Angus even on this coolest of summer nights whipping up a sweat and the other 3 are just the best rhythm section in the business.
  The set differed slightly from the winter UK tour , Stiff Upper Lip opening and the suprise appearance of Problem Child, What Do you do for Money Hoeny and the big suprise, a superb, Up to my Neck In You..; Bon would have been proud.
  The tunes kept coming as darkness fell and the stage & lighting really came to life, as the awsome final gallop thro' Back in Black, Highway to Hell, Dirty Deeds, Rosie and Let There Be Rock brought the gig to a climax. No doubt, after a cigarette and a towel down the boys returned and T.N.T and of course For Those About to Rock were played with suitable aplomb. A no fuss, no frills goodnight and off they scuttled into the firework lit night.
  As ever a great night.
  I first saw this band in 1982, 19 gigs later, thousands of miles later and buckets of sweat later, they remain the best, most honest Rock n Roll band on the planet.
  Paris will be my 20th and I pray not my last night with /DC. We Salute You

  'up to my neck in you', 'problem child', 'what do you do for money honey'
  ..... we nearly fainted. whatever the lads put in their tea whilst writing out the set lists please do it more often. i did actually believe they'd started to run on autopilot but it was wonderful to see that they can throw up the odd suprise still. typically great show from start to finish. having said that, they came on 15 minutes early and we were in the bar still. i think they opened with stiff upper lip ... anyone verify ??
  we salute you boys ... roll on paris, maybe they'll dust off 'riff raff' as well !

  Hi Rockers, after we came back from Milton Keynes, we travelled to Hockenheim (it´s just 100 km from our home town). we saw the same incredible show as in great britain. BUT, the sound was much better (not so windy!!!) and a perfect light show. Like in England the Boys play the same Songs (Up to my neck in you was a mega-hammer!!!!) and Brian sounded like he lost his voice in the next second!!! BUT, it still works!!!! I´m happy to go to Paris and Cologne, to see the best fuckin band again!!! Come to our site . www.sin-city.de

  Waouwwwww ! Quel show!!!! Quelle claque dans la gueule ! Beaucoup de nouveautés, et en particulier l’arrivée de titres tels que « Problem Child », « What do you do for money honey » et « Up to my neck in you » !!! On retrouve le groupe fidèle à lui-même, qui se donne à 150 %. En ce 10 juin, Brian est en pleine forme. Pas de problème de voix, et apparemment heureux devant ce public allemand qui en redemande. Il se permet même de descendre de la passerelle qui avance dans la foule, pour venir nous serrer la main ! Sur Hells Bells, Brian fera tomber sa casquette dans le public ( !!! il ne s’agissait pas de son habituel béret, mais d’une casquette AC/DC !!!! heureusement pour lui.) Le plus marrant, c’est qu’il demandera au public de la lui rendre ! Le seul bémol viendrait du public, trempé de la pluie de l’après-midi, qui a mis du temps à se réveiller (il faudra attendre Thunderstruck pour qu’il bouge vraiment) et qui accueillira les premiers accords de « Up to my neck in you », dans un silence religieux. « Was ist das ? » semblaient-ils se dire. A part ça, le concert sera sans accrocs, à l’image de la scène et du groupe : impressionnant !!! Merci AC/DC, merci Brian ! A très bientôt…

  Es war mal wieder soweit! AC/DC riefen und ca. 70000 Menschen kamen zum Hockenheimring um einem Spektakel der Superlative beizuwohnen... Schon beim betreten den Arena wurde klar, was einen hier erwartet. Es herrschte zwar nicht gerade Traumwetter (Regen/kalt), aber allein schon der Bühnenaufbau hat einen dafür entschädigt. Riesige Anguskappen rechts und links jeweils am höchsten Punkt der Bühne angebracht und einen ca. 100m langen "Catwalk" durch die Menge zum Mischpult! Nachdem die Vorgruppen (Megadeth, Tote Hosen und Buddy Guy)Ihr bestes gaben, war es um ca. 20:30 Uhr soweit. Nach einer unglaublich geilen Introsequenz, die auf den drei Videoleinwänden zu sehen war, standen die 5 Jungs auf der Bühne und gaben wie immer alles und brachten die Masse zum kochen! Vom ersten bis zum letzten Gitarrenriff war nur noch Partystimmung angesagt. Als schließlich der letzte Donner von "For those about to rock" erhallte und kurz danach noch ein grandioses Feuerwerk den Hockenheimring erhellte, war für alle klar... AC/DC find´ ich gut und muß ich auf alles Fälle wieder sehen!

  Also, ich fang zunächst mal mit der Kritik an. Megadeth hat schon vorm offiziellen Beginn gespielt, wir kamen um 16 Uhr auf den Ring und die warn schon fast fertig, wenn auf allen Plakaten und Eintrittskarten steht, Beginn 17 Uhr, sollte man auch erst dann anfangen. Gut warn sie trotzdem... Kult : "Symphony of destruction" Die Toten Hosen konnten erst ab dem 4. oder 5. Lied Stimmung machen, absoluter Höhepunkt natürlich "Bayern" und "10 kleine Jägermeister". Zu Buddy Guy : Er wurde fast gnadenlos ausgepfiffen, wobei ich finde jeder AC/DC Fan der ihn auspfeift sollte sich mal gedanken machen, wo die Musik von Angus&Co ihren Ursprung hat, nämlich genau bei solchen Leuten wie Buddy Guy. Er hat auf jeden Fall eine solide Show gespielt, ellenlange Gitarrensoli und eine starke Stimme. Leider war nach einer halben Stunde Schluss, wohl wegen der vielen Pfiffe...
  Nun zu den positiven Punkten : AC/DC Die Show hat sich im Vergleich zu letztem Jahr nicht zu sehr verändert, das neue Intro auf der Leinwand jedoch : GÖTTLICH ! Die Riesen Angus- Statue sozusagen auf "Welttournee", stampft das Kolloseum ein, klaut die Freiheitsstatue und verwüstet diverse Hauptstädte der Welt.
  "Stiff upper Lip" als Opener... eine wesentlich bessere Wahl als letztes JAhr "You shook me..." , die hammerharten Anfangstöne zeigen gleich, dass AC/DC wie ein Orkan über die Bühne fegen werden.
  In diesem Stil gehts auch weiter, Angus und Brian sausen über die Bühne wie Derwische, rasen den catwalk auf und ab und entwickeln eine Energie, die fast an Wahnsinn grenzt.
  Absoluter Höhepunkt aus meiner Sicht natürlich Let There Be Rock, wobei sich Angus völlig verausgabt, auf der vom letzten Jahr bekannten Hebebühne sein Solo herunterreisst und zusätzlich noch auf dem Beleuchtungsturm herumturnt. Weitere Höhepunkte Brians schwingen an der Glocke (Hells Bells), die obligatorische winkende Gummipuppe (whole lotta rosie) und natürlich Angus´ Strip beim "bad boy boogie", der wie letztes Jahr nur bis auf die Shorts mit Deutschlandfahne ging... vielleicht besser so, der wird ja auch net jünger ;-)
  Über den letzten Höhepunkt, die Kanonen zum Abschluss kann ich leider nix sagen, da ich währenddessen schon mein spärliches Mittagessen und einige Bier von mir gab, nach Aussagen meiner Mitfahrer jedoch wärs sogar noch lauter gewesen als letztes Jahr, obwohls damals in der Halle war.
  Im grossen und ganzen ein gelunger Tag, bei dem AC/DC natürlich den absoluten Höhepunkt darstellten. Einziger winziger Kritikpunkt: Bei "thunderstruck" offenbarten sich teilweise einige Schwächen im Rhythmus, die mir letztes Jahr nicht aufgefallen sind, aber das stört ja eigentlich auch keinen ;)

  Das war das geilste, was ich je gesehen habe!!! Die Setlist wurde im vergleich zum letzten Jahr doch recht gut verändert und mit Stiff Upper Lip gab es einen besseren Opener. Am Anfang gab es ein Video zu sehen, in dem die Statue als eine Art Godzilla dargestellt wurde. Sie lief durch New York und wurde schließlich von Hubschraubern erschossen. Als dan der Erzähler auf Englisch fragte, was wohl mit der Angusstatue passieren würe, zwingerte ihr Auge und die Leinwand öffnete sich und AC/DC fingen an, Stiff Upper Lip zu spielen. Was mich sehr gefreut, den You Shook Me All Night Long ist meiner Meinung nach kein guter Opener, aber es muss recht früh kommen, weil sonst Brian Johnson die Stimme für das Lied verliert. Dann einfach nur die ersten beiden Lieder umzudrehen war einfach nur genial und am einfachsten, dass Problem zu lösen. danach folgte zu meiner großen Überraschung Problem Child! (endlich!!!) Und danach mein Lieblingssong Thunderstruck. Auch What You do for Money Honey war mal schön wider zu hören, und vor allem live. Den ob Brian noch die Stimme für den Song hatte wusste ich ehrlich gesagt nicht. Aber hat sie gehabt. Und Up To My Neck In You kannte ich vorher gar nicht. Einfach genial!!!!! Ich wünsche jedem der noch zur Tour geht viel Spass!!!!!!!!

  Around 70,000 people from all over Europe attended AC/DC´s first Open Air Concert this year in Germany. Supporting bands were Megadeth(they sucked), Die Toten Hosen (not bad) and Buddy Guy (not the right choice for this event). AC/DC changed the set list compared to last years tour. They played Problem Child, What Do You Do For Money and Up To My Neck In You instead of Meltdown, Safe In New York City and Shot Down In Flames. Sound was perfect and the band was in a good mood.

  This was the greatest rock Show I've ever seen! Brian had a unbelievable powerfull voice. And Angus was brilliant... as usual. The crowed instantly got mad when they walked on the stage. Though their latest record ist one of their best, they only played "Stiff upper lip" from that album. Instead they played their old songs. And I tell you, they never sounded better! After the 21-gun-salute there was a great fireworks! This knocked everybody out!
  They suporters, Megadeth, die Toten Hosen, Buddy Guy (in this order)were also great! Only Buddy Guy's blues wasn't to everybody's taste. This guy was unbelievable. A god on his guitar! But some intolerant AC/DC fans threw plasic cups after him... What a shame! He finished his appearance about 15 minutes early. So came, that AC/DC also started 15 minutes early. I can't understand, how AC/DC fans can be unfair! I was enjoying Buddy Guy!

  Really great concert on Srahov stadium! Big rock'n'roll sensation!It's really worth to make 1.500km to see the greatest band ever born in the world!We salute you from Bulgaria! Keep a stiff upper lip everybody!

  WOW!!!!!!! War das geil!!! das war noch geiler als in Hockenheim! Das war eine echte Sensation!!! Die geilste Stimmung seit langem (habe ich von erfahrenen AC/DC Konzert Veteranen gehört!!)! Gutes Wetter, einfach saugeil! aber das beste und das ist schon eine riesen Sensation:
  Nach "For those about to rock" sind AC/DC wirklich noch mal auf die Bühne gekommen! Völlig ohne Lightshow und den Kram! Da ja nach "For those about to rock" ja normal IMMER schluss ist war schon das ganze Konfetti verschossen aber die Ränge und der Innenraum haben sich nicht gelerrt und es hallte "Zugabe" aus den Kehlen der Fans! Es waren schon eignie auf dem Rückweg als plötzlich ein kurzes Gitarrenzupfen für einen wahnsinnigen Aufschrei in der Menge sorgte! Sie kamen tatsächlich nochmal!
  Und spielten "Shot down in Flames" Absolute Sensation ich habe viele sagen hören das es das schon Jahre nicht mehr gegeben hat!
  Nun zu den gerüchten das dieses Konzert auf DVD erscheinen wird: Nun es wurde ja angekündigt das Prag auf DVD rauskommt und deswegegn denke ich leider das München nicht rauskommt auch wenn es sehr schade wäre denn das Konzert war sicher besser als Prag! Eas war ja schon allein deswegen saugeil weil sie nochmal gekommen sind! Es wäre schade aber ich bezweifel es!
  Und zu der Kameraaktivität (Ich stand auch ganz vorne!) muss ich sagen das da nicht mehr aktivität als in Hockheim war! Also ich denke das hat nicht viel zu sagen!! Warten wirs ab und hoffen!
  Am geilsten wäre es als VHS/DVD und auf CD! Wer weiß!!

  Hi there ! I've just returned from Munich... this was my 14th AC/DC-concert and it was incredible awesome. 65.000 people supposed in the Olympic Stadium. And it was a special night: The setlist was the same as Milton Keynes but one exception... the crowd shouted and chanted for another encore and they got it !!! Yes, the boys returned and played Shot Down In Flames. It must be 20 years ago that this happened. There were a lot of cameras around so hopefully the rumours become reality and this concert will probably released as a DVD. You'll love it. See you in Hamburg !!! Cheers

  WWWOOOWWW. Was soll ich sagen. Hockenheimring war geil, aber München war der pure Wahnsinn. So eine Stimmung, so eine Atmosphäre und so eine geile Band wie heute Abend habe ich noch nie gesehen und ich hab die Jungs schon oft gesehen. Es war einfach unbeschreiblich und ich bin froh an diesem schon fast historischen Abend dabei gewesen zu sein, denn nicht oft erlebt man es, das die Jungs nach For those about to Rock nochmal auf die Bühne zurückkehren und noch eine zweite Zugabe ( Shot down in flames ) spielen. Grandios. Bis Hannover am Sonntag.Ich freu mich.

  Hi Folks, the boys were back in town, and nobody will forget that gig in Munich ! It was a rough ass kicking concert as ever. I was surprised to hear "up to my neck in you", one of my favourite songs ! The band play the same songs as in Milton Keynes, but after "For those about to rock" the crowd was shouting "Zugabe" so loud and long, that Angus and co. came back after 5 minutes and played "Shot down in Flames" ! wow!!! I´ll be back in Nuremberg !

  Pünktlich vor ca. 75000 erstmals im Olympiastadion beginnt die Show. Ein genialer Zeichentrickfilm mit der Angusstatue als King Kong läßt das ausverkaufte Stadion erbeben. Stiff upper Lip ist der erste Song, danach folgt You shook me all night long. Neu im Vergleich zur Oktobershow sind Problem Child, Up to my neck in you und What do you do for money honey. Was hier von den Fünf geboten wurde war mal wieder super. Mein 9 Konzert und ich muß sagen, wenn Brian Johnson denn langen Laufsteg entlangfetzt, dann gehört im mein ganzer Respekt. Wie seit Jahren wird das Konzert mit For those about to rock beendet und die ersten Fans verlassen das Stadion. UND DANN: Knapp 5 Minuten vergehen und plötzlich hört man einen kurzen Gitarrenzupfer und die Band kehrt noch mal auf die Bühne!!!! Sie kommen tatsächlich NACH ihrem seit Jahren immer zu letzt gespielten Song zurück und setzen dem ganzen noch ein Shot down in flames hinterher!! Ohne großen Lichteffekt. Was wohl dafür spricht, daß dies eine völlig spontane Aktion war. Da enormer Kameraeinsatz zu beobachten war (ich hatte das Glück in der Arena keine 6 Meter von der Bühne entfernt zu stehen), könnte ich mir durchaus vorstellen, dieses Konzert auf der geplanten DVD wieder zu sehen. Es war mal wieder SENSATIONELL!

  !!!!!THEY RETURNED AFTER FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK!!!!! AND PLAYED SHOT DOWN IN FLAMES!!!! THIS IS HISTORY!!!!! THE AUDIENCE WAS THE LOUDEST EVER!!!! THIS WAS THE BEST CONCERT EVER !!! THE BEST VERSION OF THE JACK!!! DONT MISS THIS CONCERT ON VIDEO / DVD - WILL BE RELEASED IN DECEMBER.
