All I have to say is unbelievable. It was the the 17th time I have seen them and they are just as good as ever, if not better. Thank od for AC/DC, these guys rule!!

As always, Malcolm blew my load, "She's Got the Jack" mistook me for a clap mistress on the big screen, and I felt like I was in high school again! It was kick ass! The only way to top the eve. would have been to carry Malcolm off in my purse,(which is totally possible),and have fun with him for about 4 hours, and then drop him back off at his bus! Julz in OH

Great Concert!!! Angus was awe...some.A little dissapponted that only one breast poked out during THE JACK...If u go, don't be cheap, buy yourself some of those "red devil horns"

How much better does it get...first row seats on Malcom's side, Madison Square Garden and no earplugs! It was loud, it was fast, these boys have not lost a step! It's too bad that a shit band like Fuckcherry, a pack of pussies has to ruin the sonic onslaught with their crappy, infantile dribble of sissy music. Rock on Angus!

The concert I saw was last night Tues May 8th at the Garden in NYC and was without a doubt, one of the best fucking concerts ever witnessed. They played for approx 2 hours straight. It was like an AC/DC Greatest hits show. If you weren't there then you have never seen them. THEY BLEW THE FUCKING ROOF OFF THE GARDEN!!!! You name it they played it. Rest assure anyone else that surfs onto this page can attest to what I say and what we saw. I don't care to see them ever again and this is the second time the last time was during the For those about to Rock Tour. Last night can not be topped. RIP!

WOW! What a concert! This was my second time seeing them and the sound even better than before. I saw them in 96. The opening act Buckcherry was great. They sounded awesome. When AC/DC came out the whole crowd went wild. After all these years they still know how to rock. They still sound great and angus and the whole band haven't missed a beat. Lots of energy. Brian Johnsons voice sounded much better than 96. The whole show was great as well as loud. My ears were ringing for two days. The effects were great and extra views during " The Jack" if you know what I mean where very nice. It is nice to know that rock and roll is still alive thanks to AC/DC. I look forward to seeing them again in the next few years. Everyone and anyone should go see them once in their lifetime. They are a real rock band and they continue to remind us what real rock and roll is supposed to be. You have to salute the best and say to yourself rock and roll will never die with AC/DC.

AC/DC put in an exceptional performance in Albany, New York on May 9th in front of a near sell-out crowd of about 11,000. Some notable differences between this performance and those from the first leg of the tour were:
    1. The Angus statue now turns around and moons the crowd simultaneously with the real Angus.
    2. The blow-up Rosie is now standing upright and moves in-sync to the music. I think this is an improvement over the Rosie from previous tours.
    3. Angus through in a number of cool, crisp licks at the end of "Thunderstruck". An excellent touch of improvisation.
    4. "Get It Hot" live was performed. This was absent after the first few gigs on the first leg. Definitely a welcome track. It went over very well, especially for a lesser known track.
Overall the boys worked their asses off, sweating like athletes, and rising to exceed all expectations. Brian was easy to hear and the background vocals were also exceptionally strong. The guitar sound was crisp and the whole engine cranked out all songs, old and new, with a freshness and power I find awe-inspiring. I do believe that the are the hardest working, best performing, most entertaining, rock 'n' roll band in the world.
Buck Cherry was a decent opener and did a fine job of prepping the crowd. Although, I must say, three of the five guys look like they are undernourished and appear to be in bad need of a meal. Perhaps they should mix in a little Ensure inbetween beers.

What a great show. Thank God Albany showed up for this one. I saw them here in 96 and the place was half filled. Put any boy band here and they sellout right away - I can't figure that out. Compared to Boston this town sucks for rock 'n roll shows and we are lucky that AC/DC hasn't dropped us from their tour. If you don't believe me check them out at the Fleet Center sometime. Thumbs up Albany we might just get them back again next time. Now onto the show. Brian sounded great and the set was basically the same as the other shows on this leg. The boys really seemed to be into it and having a good time. Brian is some kind of a showman. He spent the night shaking hands with the crowd and dancing around. BBB was great and surprisingly the crowd sounded great during DDDDC and TNT.As usual the cannons topped off another first rate concert. The hardest working band of the 70's is still the hardest working band today. Looking forward to the world tour '05. We salute you AC/DC. real rock band and they continue to remind us what real rock and roll is supposed to be. You have to salute the best and say to yourself rock and roll will never die with AC/DC.

Wow, that was everything that I could have asked for in a concert and more. AC/DC proved again tonight why they are simply the greatest band in the world. The set list was the same as it has been throughout the tour with the exception of "Safe In NYC" instead of "Sin City." Though I wished that they had played "Sin City," "SINYC" was unbelieveable. Played at a speed much faster than on the album was the main reason for this. I must say that if you have the chance to see them from the floor, do it!!! It is a thousand times better than seeing them from a nose-bleed seat. And you can see how small they really are, haha. The other thing that caught my attention is that Brian is truly one of the greatest showman of all time. He was slapping hands with the audience the entire time and having a ball. Though the show was postponed two days becuase of his sore throat, it was hardly noticeable. Not much more to say but thank you AC/DC for such an incredible show! !!!

I first say AC/DC play the Pec.Fairgrounds in 1978 to this day they still put on an excellent performance. Last night they were in great form. I took My 13,27 year old sons and my 21 year old daughter. They found last night why I have been an AC/DC fan since that first day I saw them play at Pec. Fairgrounds and why I have been a fan for 23 years. Thank you rock will never die as long as there is AC/DC.

We spent the whole day on State St. in Madison. We went to the Pre concert party at The Angelic Club where the local radio station was giving away 4 & 5th row seats. I was not happy to find out the Angus Army was not brought back for a make up date, but I was dressed in Full ANgus fashion w/ purple suit and my hat with an A on top. We went to the show and it kicked ass, I cannot remember alot but I know that I was there and I had an awesome time. We waited around after the show and I met Angus again. This time when I met Angus I had a birthday gift I had made for him,( even though I was over 1 month late) I got my High Voltage album signed, and in the box below the Happy Birhtday Angus box is my Who made Who album with an instant camera and a note. The note said Dear Angus please have the band sign this and put back in the prestamped box. 3 Days later the box came back to me signed by all 5 with 10 pictures the band took of them selves backstage and on the busses. A! n awesome awesome yes I said awesome piece for my collection. Long Live AC/DC.

Madison was the fourth time this tour i saw them, and i can honestlysay, every show was as good if not better than the previous. I thoughtit would be immpossible to beat united center in chicago, but madisonwas every bit as good, and was well worth the extra 14,400 minuteswe had to wait for Brian to get better. we drove four hours to see themand did not hesitate to do it again 240 hours later. we got home at 3 a.m.and had to be to work at 4 a.m. there is no better show around!

Well---is this it---the last concert ever in the states?? Well, they did not disappoint. The band played with the most energy I have seen them play on these two legs of the Stiff Upper Lip tour---which spans 6 shows!!! Angus was going crazy and seemed really into it as did Brian. They were on fire. Also, I have seen alot of concerts but the Detroit crowd is always the best crowd by far!!! Detroit, you guys fucken rocked and the band fed off of it. The concert was really loud as usual and no problems with the mics---finally!!! Anyway, thanks guys for a great 2000-2001 Tour and hope to see you soon----Brian did say "We'll see ya again"!!

  • Kelly
Well, after Cleveland I said I'd vow to get Detroit tickets...and I did! I've never seen so much energy from them. They were nonstop the whole night. The crowd was the best one I've ever heard. Singing along to every song to perfection. Angus could only faintly be heard when oying because of the crowd oying. I'm glad their last show of 2001 in the U.S. was Detroit. They gave us a show we'll never forget, and I'm sure they won't forget the crowd. We made a banner and it was saluted by Brian after the opening tune. When he gave his own intro to The Jack, he made a remark of being horny! This was my 5th time seeing them and I will say that is was my favorite concert of them all. After the sjow, we waited by their buses and got to meet Malcolm and Angus. They signed my program and I got pictures with them. Angus even wore my devil horns. They are 2 of the nicest people I've ever met. I can't wait until they come around again!! AC/DC, we salute you!!!

The concert was just about as close as you can get to heaven. AC/DC were in their prime. I have never heard them sound so good. They delivered the songs with so much power and energy, I couldn't believe it. The Detroit crowd was going nuts. I'm just sad that this was the last show of the Stiff Upper Lip tour. All I can say is that AC/DC never get old, just better and better.
P.S. I anyone has any video or audio of this show please contact me at kirk@mnsi.net I'd be very interested in it.

It took me over 3000 miles to see AC/DC! It's true,I live near Ottawa Ont, and on may 1 me and 2 buddies went to see them in Madison, Wis. A 16 hour drive and 900 miles just to get there. This was fine until 2 hours before the show when a taxi driver informed us we couldn't go to the concert becuase it was cancelled. We were pissed, big time. But how the fuck can you be mad at a band who has given me and my buddies so much. We decided to retaliate by buying 3 tickets in the nose bleeds for the Detroit show (we weren't making the Madison drive again, too far). So we headed out to Rock City (400 Miles)and lite it up. 3 drunk canucks getting wild in the Joe Louis parking lot 5 hours before the doors opened. Jumping on our car and drinking with security were among the highlights. We met dudes galore and had a blast. As for the concert, I am not sure how to describe the coolest thing I have ever seen, except for it was absolutely wild and packed. We had no intention in sitting in our nose bleeds seasts so, we sat front row until someone kicked us out, fortunate for us that was during RnR Ain't Noise Pollution the 7th tune, after that we just proceeded to stand in the steps still front row for the entire concert. This is my second show of the tour, I went to Ottawa, and this show beat it, besides the great reviews of the Ottawa concert. I thought Brian Couldn't be any better than in Ottawa but he trippled his performance in Detroit. Swearing, Yelling, Screaming none stop. No extra's for the last North Americian Gig, but they were wild and Brian is a complete dude in my books. He totally made up for the canceled shows, but him just standing on stage would have done the same, no doubt. So if this is the last gig they ever do on North Americian Soil, it is one for the ages, But of course we know it wouldn't be. Booze Dude City....
