Greeetings from the West CoastSome idiot in the local press here said that 'Get it Hot' was the low point in AC/DC's April 23 show at the Pac. Colouseum (Vancouver, B.C.). Chances are, he's been smoking too much of the local home grown. Get It Hot not only brought the people out of their seats, but AC/DC raised the roof, brought the house down, and played better than ever during the show. It was AWESOME!!! Like the Beatles, the Stones, and the Who all rolled into one.
Come on, baby, get it hot!

the best concert i have ever seen! i had never seen an ac/dc show before so i didnt know what to expect,i new it would be worth the money, but didnt expect it to be worth 10times the amount of money and be the best night ever! as soon as they hit the first noteof the first song (you shook me all night long) i knew it was going to be a wild night and it was!!

yup, ACDC rocked the roof off of the Pacific Collosium, I saw both shows, and I was in awe for the entire weekend.I have never seen anything like it. I waited since I was 10 years old to see the Kings of Rock, and they did not dissappoint. After the first show, Angus meeted and greeted some lucky fans, ( Not me, I had to drive my Girlfriend and her freinds home) But my buddy got my Angus money signed for me! The set was great, Get it hot was a sweet oldy to throw in, Despite what an idiot wouldnt know rock and roll if it bit him in the a$$ reporter said, and Brians volcals were better than I ve ever heard. Not to mention the acrobatics while swinging on hells bell wi th no net or spotters, (at 52). Wide mouth Mason did pretty good as well, staying away from thier poppy stuff and going into an almost grungy blues, to keep the crowd happy. The best two nights of my life? Yes it was! Rock on boys, I hope to see you soon again and again!

The show was fan-bloody-tastic. Skyreach center has never heard dB of this magnitude. The audience was on their feet for the whole show. The songs sounded better than ever and the set, lighting, effects were awsome.I personally feel the show was too loud but hey I'm getting on abit.

The announcement was made ... A C / D C !!!! The band ran onto the stage and opened with the expected You Shook Me All Night Long. They then played for one of the best 2 hours of my life! The setlist was great, including all the songs I wanted to hear, like Safe In NYC and Get It Hot. The props were great! The statue, growing horns, spewing smoke, and moving (side to side, front to back). The bell, from which Brian dangled by the rope and took a ride on, the 6 cannons for the LOUD finale, and the dancing Rosie doll. The fireballs for Highway To Hell were an awesome effect, and the sex videos for Hard As A Rock, shown on the screen (which split to reveal the statue during SUL and coming together to hide it during Rosie and the encores), were hilarious! The band played great and Brian's voice was much better than in the No Bull video! The concert was great, and it will absolutely NOT be the last AC/DC show I attend!

1978, 1981, 1991, 1996, & 2001. This was the 5th time for me and somehow, the boys seem to get better with age!!!!? We were 9th Row Floor along the centre runway and from all our girations and screaming we felt like we ran a marathon while simultaneously losing our voices in the process. I can't even imagine how Angus and Brian feel after doing this night after night after night....et al. No disrespect to Malcolm, Cliff, or Phil, they did their jobs very well. However, walking back and forth to the microphone to belt out periodic background vocals and sitting on the kit would be the "easy" (of course - you need the talent to make it LOOK easy!) part relative to the triathalon Angus runs for 2 hours and 15 minutes or the antics of Brian running around the stage and swinging around on a rope from the bell! Still miss Bon. Still miss Angus sitting on Bon's (or Brian's shoulders) running around the arena floor in the crowd. Shot Down In...,TNT and You Shook.. were great - as were all the tunes. Set list was as is noted elsewhere in this website with minor variations. This was the second loudest I've ever "heard" them, (Imagine the dB's from an Atom Bomb igniting in your brain) however, the mix was not nearly as clear as the Razor's Edge show at the Saddledome. (Which went 3 hours!) I think the boys were weary from their escapades in Vancouver and Edmo the previous nights..however, once they got going the energy transfer from band to crowd and vice versa was awesome. (When Brian first came out..he looked like he just woke up..literally!) These guys are the BENCHMARK live rock n' roll show on this planet. Wide Mouth Mason were okay (yawn...) but I almost felt sorry for them - AC/DC has gotta be the hardest challenge in the biz in terms of the "opening act" schtick. Brian's voice is powerful!... he had problems with his mike/earpiece monitor set-up for about 2 or 3 songs and he yelled to the monitor technician (with NO MIKE/Or P.A.!)...."I'M FU****" (With a big grin on his face!)

Rock & Roll It Will Survive!!This is the second time I have seen AC/DC in Calgary and they still blew me away. They still rock harder and louder than any band I have ever seen. I must say that Brian looked a little tired and saw him leaning with one arm on the speakers while Angus played out front. I was glad they added Get It Hot and dropped Satellite Blues. When they played Dirty Deeds the place went crazy. Everywhere there were devil horns and screaming fans. The show was six days ago and I can still barely speak as I am so hoarse. Angus is a guitar GOD and thrilled everyone with his one handed solos and his nonstop action. The close ups of the SG on the big screen were awesome and everyone enjoyed the cartoon pornos and audience shots. The energy never quits at an AC/DC show and you will never have more fun in your life. Thank you AC/DC-we salute you.

We Salute you AC/DC the show was awesome! 2nd time was just as good as the first '96 Ballbreaker' We were 11 strong from Great Falls the saddledome is the closest the boys ever get to us. We were right beside the stage 2nd level up and it was fantastic, From You Shook Me All Night Long to Let There be Rock (my favorite!) To the cannons at the end.The best rock and roll band ever! Can't wait for them to tour again just hope its soon.Rock On!!

Absolutely amazing from the opening of You Shook Me All Night Long to the last cut, For those About To Rock. Any band with that much energy after 30 years of being on stage deserves a salute. Angus did not stop for the full Two hour show and the crowd did not use their seats. No need for a huge stage when you got Angus running around the a ten year old school boy. AMAZING!!!

  • Shawn Martens
What an awsome show. I when deaf on the first chord of You Shook Me. The crowd was so loud that you could barely hear Brian. Angus was great. He has the fastest fingers I have ever seen, not that I could see from my seat. I will never forget this day. AC/DC kicks ass.

Oi! This is the second time we have seen AC/DC and we loved every minute of it. 21,000 screaming fans filled the Fargodome. The Thunder from Down Under rocked the upper midwest. The opening band "Wide Mouth Mason" was better than what we expected. They were actually pretty good...a lot better than Slash. We had floor seats off to the left of the stage about halfway back. From the opening chords of You Shook Me All Night Long the crowd was alive. The enthusiasm of Angus and Brian is amazing. Cliff and Malcolm provided background vocals that make your spine tingle...Dirty Deeds and they're Done Dirt Cheap! Nobody does it better. The drummer, Paul Ruud (as he was called by the author of a Fargo Forum article) provided the beat that kept everybody banging their heads and waving their fists in the air. Hard As A Rock was a highlight with the video that was playing during the song. Angus proved he was a bad boy when he stripped down to his American flag boxers during Bad Boy Boogie. Brian showed that you can swing from Hells Bell and live to tell about it. During Whole Lotta Rosie there was a blow up doll of Rosie that danced during the song. The fire balls during Highway To Hell were an awesome way to compliment the song. When the cannons rolled out onto the stage during For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) I knew we were in for a spectacular finish. When each of the cannons went off the whole building shook and the crowd cheered for more. It's two days after the show and we still don't have our voices back and our necks are still stiff but we would do it again tomorrow...in a heart beat. Thank you AC/DC...we salute you!

Well, it was another awesome AC/DC show. I don't know, but the band seemed a little bit more "perky" than in other shows that I have seen on this tour. It was totally, completely *ss-kicking, from start to finish. "The Jack" did bring some "Fine Fargo Flesh" (song title idea,.....possibly? HA HA) to the big screens above the stage. I salute that!
Anyway, the show. It was great. I truly believe it was the greatest concert that ND has EVER SEEN. We are so starved for rock concerts up here that it isn't even funny. We usually get stuck with that old redneck country crap. I guess "The Stones" did hit Fargo, which was awesome, but after AC/DC, well, it's all down hill from there.
What was with the religion crusader out front of the Fargodome. They were trying to pass out their "reading material" to everyone. They tried to pass some out to my wife and I. I was a little dissappointed that security wasn't doint anything to stop the soliciting. I told the guy that he has a right to his opinion, but that opinions are like *ssholes, everybody has one!
Thank you AC/DC for FINALLY getting to Fargo. It was a capacity crowd of around 22,000 and it sold out in a very short time. The guy from the radio station in Fargo said that AC/DC promoters didn't think they could sell out in Fargo, ND. We can rock-n-roll with the best of them up here in the north land.
AC/DC is, by far, the greatest rock band of all time. Almost 30 years together this band still rips it up like nobody else can and has a blast doing it.
Thanks a million. I SALUTE YOU!
