This was my first AC/DC concert (but I was fortunate enough to see them in Columbus the next night) I still cannot stop thinking about it, it was awsome. We had great seats and could see the whole band perfectly. IT WAS LOUD, but that was ok with me. The songs were played to perfection, it was hard to take your eyes off Angus. He is an incredible guitar player. I really liked all the effects,,they were an extra bonus. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves to the max. It was impossible to stay seated, you just wanted to get up and go crazy. You could tell that the band was enjoying themselves too. I am totally in love with AC/DC, I wish I could see every show of the tour. I liked the mix of people at the concert, some younger, some older. It was great!!!!! I didn't want it to end.

Wow! The best and last of the tour for me! Brian Johnson and Angus Young are both unbelievable! They are both great musicians and entertainers. I had a great time seeing the boys from the first row. It was almost unreal. I go to Ohio State and Brian Johnson actually put some guy's OSU hat on for like half the show. I've never heard of them breaking the routine, but this show was all about fun!!! They've never sounded better. I got to hear "Safe In NYC" finally as well. Just like previously mentioned, it was a little faster-I loved hearing it. The highlights of the show were "Back In Black" and "Dirty Deeds." Talk about great talent and energy! I even saw Cliff smile! Brian "saluted me" during "For Those..." by pointing straight at me. Only complaint is about those security guys up front. I took about 8 pictures. Only about 3 good ones. If it wasn't for them bitching at me, I'd have about 80 stellar memories. But they're asses, so oh well. What's important is what's in your head, right? See yah AC/DC fans, I love you all!

OH MY that was a killer show. I'd compare it to Cleveland last summer, and it was only Dayton! It was completely flawless in every aspect. We arrived about a half hour before the guys came onstage and missed the openers, oh well.
YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG- the opening chords sent chills down my spine, again. I think the whole arena was shaking at this point. Cliff's bass was so powerful the floor was constantly vibrating.
STIFF UPPER LIP- one off the new album for the lads, loud, fast and mean
SHOT DOWN IN FLAMES- I've never seen Brian jump up and down so much during a song! He just didn't stop!
THUNDERSTRUCK- 100% crowd participation, Angus was right on with his opening
HELL AIN'T A BAD PLACE TO BE- The first signs of smoke and fire coming from the Angus statue. It started rotating around the stage.
HARD AS A ROCK- I can quote Brian at the beginning, "Guys get it ready and ladies watch your pants", I was like OMG I can't believe he just said that, the video was just as wild as before " oh baby, please do it one more time" lol
SHOOT TO THRILL- I think all people on hand clapped near then end, Brian stuffed the mic down his pants and clapped as well
ROCK 'N' ROLL AIN'T NOISE POLLUTION- Brian wanted this one sang "loud and proud", and boy we did exactly as he asked
GET IT HOT- The cameras were moving really fast showing each member during this song, almost made me dizzy. Terrific lighting effects. Someone in the crowd gave Brian some beer, he took a few sips and gave it back!
BAD BOY BOOGIE- I anxoiusly awaited this song, the striptease was excellent, after Brian came out in his wifebeater after doing a little stripping of his own, he also sported an AC/DC baseball cap
HELLS BELLS- Oh the bell! What fun Brian was having swinging from it, it seemed to go lower than last year. Right before he got off of it, he threw the cap to fans in the crowd
SAFE IN NYC- My first time hearing this song live, there were purple lights everywhere. Played a little faster than on the album
THE JACK- Oh geez tons of "parts" being shown, one lady right next to us bared it all and I saw my hand on the camera so I waved. Even Brian couldn t get the crowd to sing because he was too busy watching the cameras and in awe
BACK IN BLACK- The album cover was shown on the cameras the whole time, never sounded better live
DIRTY DEEDS- The lights came on during the chorus and we saw 10,000 right arms being thrown in the air
HIGHWAY TO HELL- The flames, the flames! We felt the heat! Flawless!
WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE- Even Rosie was bopping to this song, she had Angus dollar bills attached to her thong
LET THERE BE ROCK- What else can I say? The solo, the solo!
T.N.T.- Angus oied very well, along with the rest of the crowd
FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK- The cannons were louder than ever on this one, spitted out yellow confetti at the end, "We salute you Dayton!"
I can't say enough good things about the show. I think Phil had 5 cigarrettes in the 2 hours, Malcolm was doing what he does best, and Cliff was making the floor vibrate.
ANYWAYS, my friend and I were standing right by the buses after the show for about an hour. There were about 7 or 8 alltogether waiting for them. We saw Brian, Phil and Cliff come out but they were ruched to the buses by security. About 15 minutes later, out came Angus and Malcolm. They got on their buses, the bus pulled up next to all of us and stopped! Anyways, out comes Angus ready to sign! I handed him my ticket stub and asked "Mr. Young could you please sign this?" (royal sucking up). After that I got a picture with the legend, hopefully it come out! That was the perfect ending for me. I can't wait until Columbus and Cleveland!

Nationwide Arena was rocking for 2 solid hours on this night. Even better than Dayton the night before. I heard that the guys were still sick but that was not noticable at all. When the lights started to go out, I've never seen so many people jump out of their seats, almost simultaneously. Another terrific performance by the greatest rockers of all time!
    Set list:
You Shook Me All Night Long - Stiff Upper Lip - Shot Down In Flames - Thunderstruck - Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be - Hard As A Rock - Shoot To Thrill - Rock 'N' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution - Safe In New York City - Bad Boy Boogie - Hells Bells - Get It Hot - The Jack - Back In Black - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap - Highway To Hell - Whole Lotta Rosie - Let There Be Rock - T.N.T. - For Those About To Rock.

The show was really awesome considering I had 5th row seats. Its great because you dont have look at that damn video screen when you are way back on the floor. It was also really loud!!! I sat back 25-30 rows in Cleveland(2 shows), Detroit, and Pittsburgh on this year and a half tour and the sound was just right. My ears were ringing for two days after this show and the sound was crisp. The band started out with alot of energy but Brian started to get tired near the end of the show. He starts getting dizzy with cramps or something. Slow down Brian and pace yourself!! He was too fired up. Also they need to get those fucking microphones fixed. Does anyone else seem to notice?? Brian had problems with them in Columbus and Cleveland. Come on techies!! Anyway these guys are the best to see live in concert and I will see them again May 2nd in Detroit. Hey guys lets changeup the setlist a little!!

This was my first time seeing AC/DC live...I've always been a fan of these guys because, they've stayed true to the original formula of great kickass rock and roll...three chords and lots of Marshall amplifiers turned up really loud! My concert experience began about five weeks earlier when I was layed off from my regular day job due to a suckass economy, fortunately for me my pal Dave Storm offered to help me out by getting me on with the company of roadies he works with...man was I stoked, not only was I going to see AC/DC but I was also going to get experience what has to go together to make one of their megashows happen. Needless to say I wasn't disappointed...I've never worked so hard and had so much fun all at the same time...My only disappointment was not being able to meet the guys in person, but what the hell I did find a few of Angus's used guitar picks after the show while we were tearing down and packing it up for Cleveland...I gave them all away to my friends except one which I promptly superglued to the top of my guitar, so I can have some of that Angus Young "mojo" whenever I play out with my band...My heartfelt thanks goes out to the guys in the band for a fantasy come true and a little extra "Jack" in my pocket, and to "Squid", "Sid" and the rest of the guys on the crew for being understanding and giving a scrawney white boy a break whenever needed and last but not least ALL the BEAUDACIOUS BUCKEYE LADIES who showed their ample and supple breastesses when they played "THE JACK"...I've never seen buckeyes that nice before.....Peace to you all......Sincerely Dave Rush (AC/DC RULES!)

It was a night I will never forget. AC/DC were great even better than the first time I saw them. They started with "you shook me all night long" and ended with "for those about to rock." In between these songs was nothing but good old rock n roll. Angus was tearing that gibson up and really went crazy on "let there be rock." Brian was screaming those vocals like the devil. Malcom was rockin with Cliff. Phill was hiting those drums so fast I couldn't even see his hands. This was a performance I will never forget.

My 3rd AC/DC concert in 4 days. This was the best one of them all. The guys' illnesses had passed and they were ready to rock in the home of rock and roll. I've never seen them with so much energy. The floor was getting a little rowdy even before they came on. Gund Arena exploded when the lights went out. I've never been to a louder show in my life. AC/DC RULES! After this show, I vowed to get Detroit tickets!
- For Those About To Rock

Their is no other show that tops it. I'm 31 and during the shows at Columbus and Cleveland, I had that old "I'm in high school again feeling". Of course I was a little wired up which added to the euphoria. My girlfriend and I were featured on the big screen during the song "She's Got The Jack", though neither of us have it. Any woman who who gets to feast their eyes on Malcolm when he's playing is for a real sexual rush. You can just tell by the way he plays his guitar that he's a real pro in the sack. It's pretty hot. I'm going to the New York City show too. I will continue to go see them until they are well into their eighties. Thanks for letting me get that off of my chest!

  • Brian
What a great show! Angus and the boys blew me away. I had seen them on the first leg of the tour, but this was much better. The set list was the same, except they played SAFE IN N.Y.C. It was great to see all the light up devil horns in the audience. The whole band sounded great(Brian had some mic problems though). The special effects seemed better. The opening band was Sinomatic. They were pretty good. Can' wait for AC/DC to come around again.

  • Mike
Awsome show. I saw the band the first time they came on this tour and this time was way better. The band played a complete 2 hour show that did not stop rockin. Brian's voice was louder and more powerful than ever. Angus was great, I don't think he stopped moving the entire time. The band played an awsome set list of 20 songs. Most of the songs were the same except for Safe in NYC and a little bit of a changed order. Overall the show rocked and I advise everybody who is reading this and didn't see them, to go check out a show. Keep up the great rockin guys.

ANGUS ROCKS CHICAGO!The official The Loop 97.9 logo for the concert. To be honest, it isn't too far from the truth. AC/DC gave a smashing performance. The concert started at 7:30pm, opened by Wide Mouth Mason (who got boo'd at by a lot of anxious AC/DC fans, including myself). AC/DC came on at 8:30 and rocked United Center with 19 songs for more than 2 hours. They started out with You shook me all night long, and ended with the ever so famous For those about to rock. AC/DC controlled the crowd from the first chord of the Angus's Guitar till Brian said word FIRE for the last time. I was on the second floor, a lot of enthusiasm from the crowd. During Let there be rock every body on my side was clapping with the beat of the drums throughout the song. By the end of the song my hands were totally numb. Angus gave a great performance in that song. A lot of people were bowing in front of angus as if he were A GOD. All in all it was a great show i was hoping that they would do High Voltage. I was a bit disappointed that i didn't see any girls take it all off!

What can i say? They still kick ass after 20 plus years. They showed what a real concert is like and showed what it means to be a rock group. (Lets see if bands like the Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, and etc are still around in 20 years. Furthermore, lets see if one of those queer bands can go on after their lead singer dies. It will never happen. Those bands are just out for the money and to impress the 12 year old girls who like them. AC/DC doesn't do it for the money. They do it because they love the life and they love to rock.) Angus showed again why he is one of the best guitarists alive and the other band members did the same. Brian Johnson was his typical self on stage. He isn't Bon, but to those who don't like him, all I can say is that AC/DC would not be where they are today without Johnson. The opening band was so horrible that I didn't catch their name. AC/DC opened with "You Shook me all Night Long" followed by "Stiff Upper Lip." I personally thought that "Thunderstruck," "Let There be Rock," "Hells Bells," and "Shot Down in Flames" were the four best performances of the night. Personally, they performed like a bunch of 20 year old rockers just starting out. They NEVER lost energy, especially Angus. I saw the band last year and I thought that this concert was much better than last years. They seem to just keep getting better. If you are even somewhat of an AC/DC fan, see these guys in concert. I am a die hard fan and all I can say is that I would have paid $300 for a ticket...they were that good.

Horrible sound and the same-old songs. Brian Johnson was constantly messing with his ear monitor, so I assume it sounded bad on his end too. In fact, at one point Brian took the earpiece out and threw it to the ground. Disappointing from a veteran band. This was my 10th show (over 7 tours), and I rank it number 10.

  • Rob
1 word. AWESOME! That is all it was. Great show! They changed the lineup of the songs somewaht witch i thought was good. Great lighting and sound! The opening band was somewhat lame. I heard various chants as "You Suck" and "Get off the stage". At one point someone through some sort of can on the stage. Damn near hit the drummer. LOL. All around great concert! Minor disapointment. When the Jack played, only one girl showed one tit. That was it! Come on Chicago! Last time every girl showed their tits! Don't get soft now. Well i'm sure there were tits off the screen that i could not see. The last show in chicago was in august and i can't remember if that huge Rosie statue was there cause i was so stoned. But rosie was waving her hand in the air and she is not pretty, from the looks of it she was about 69-86-74, feet that is! Too bad slash could not make it. Too bad he has Namonia, or could that be exhuastion? hmmmm. Anyway, ACDC was a great live show! Good sound and plenty of hit women to make you HARD AS A ROCK!!
