WOW!!!!!! That was the best i ve ever seen them. I saw them last year in Vegas and in Chicago and this show was awesome. Angus was goin nuts all night and never got a bit tired. Brian was havin fun and sounded great. I shook his hand twice, man it was awesome! Shot Down in Flames was great, loud and clear, Back in Black was perfect and loud. Can't wait for the chicago show that im goin to, I'm ready to put my angus suit back on and rock out all night. Can't wait to see them again, all i can say was that was an awesome show.

Oh my dear lord, what a show! Better than when I saw them in Cleveland on the first leg of the tour. Brian's voice has never sounded stronger and he looks like he's having a lot of fun. They used the same goodies as when I saw em' the first time, but this time the statue turned around when Angus pulled his shorts down. The statue was wearing USA boxers just like Angus and the used the Rosie doll again. Brian is the main part of the show now, Angus just seemed a little less mobile. He messed up during Thunderstruck. It was still cool though. I wanted to hear either Safe In NYC or Meltdown, but they played Get It Hot again and Sin City in place of Satellite Blues. Sin City was very special...real dirty! Also, Brian wore a black baseball cap for Hells Bells and The Jack. Once again, very loud.

I saw AC/DC back in 1979 in San Antonio. They were the front band for Journey. (Who thought that combination up?)
The concert on March 21 at the Ice palace in Tampa was stellar. I was looking forward to seeing Slash's Snake Pit but I understand the big snake got a little sick. AC/DC brought down a power trio from Canada named (I think) White Mountain Basin. Let me just say that if all Canadians rock like that, I might have to move to Cannuckville...not really, but these guys kicked serious ass with some impeccable riffs, lyrics and showmanship. These guys really got a bum deal. When everyone found out Slash was not in the building, everyone took their time to take their seat. I'm sure this band probably thought they were playing to about 40 people. I believe whoever these three guys were...they've got something special and could rise to the top.
8:30 Angus and the boys are introduced (the house is full and everyone is standing) begin with "All Night Long" and followed with a great collection of their iconized hits. Familiar, strong, loud, driving AC/DC tunes, being played for us by the best band in the world. Angus handled his Gibson SG flawlessly and Brian Johnson's voice was strong. (I personally enjoy watching Angus strut across the stage as he's picking those lovely vibrato riffs.) The rest of the boys did what they do so effortlessly. I always think Malcolm looks a little timid and out of place while on stage...he let's his brother do the front work, but Malcolm has been so foundational to this group. I think he's overlooked.
Now in my mid-40's, I wasn't sure what attending the AC/DC concert would be like. Was I going to be "out-of-place"? I'm a grandfather for crying out loud. As I sat at the Ice Palace, I looked over the "Sea of Gray" at the arena and realized I wasn't alone. It was pretty funny...old dudes trying to look younger by putting their ball cap on backwards and trying to be incognito. They gave themselves away when they forgot to take their Rolex's off. I saw one couple, no kidding, in their sixties....They sat on the floor, right at the stage runway. All ages were there, teens to senior citizens, rocking the night away with the best rock n roll band of all time.
If you haven't seen AC/DC live...you've lived a very simple, empty existance. Go see 'em. They'll light you up.

Just to beguin with le me say: GUAOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok.The place was packed. I don't know If there was any seats available at the very top on the third floor but I doubt it.As soon as we got there we saw the Angusarmy bus outside. As most of you know,Slash was sick,so they found some other band to replace them, and I don't even remember their names. I am not saying that they were bad, I just don't know because we did not see them, we were outside having a cigarrette just like a whole lot of people were.
Around 8:15,they started making sound checks and by 8:30 sharp, the lights at the Ice Palace went out. Over 15,000 people were screaming and clapping while AC/DC started playing You Shook Me all night long. Brian was great, shaking hands with the people close to the stage and his singing was impecable. The crowd was really pumped, even Brian made a comment like: I told the boys that this neighborhood really rocks.
They played Stiff Upper Lip, Shot Down in Flames,Thunderstruck,Hell ain't a bad place to be,Hard as a rock, and Shoot to Thrill. I don't quite remember the order but they played Rock and Roll ain't noise pollution(people loved that one),and Sin City which was nice. Angus did his strip tease during Bad Boy Boogie which rocked ,where Brian changed the lyrics from: I scared the hell out of every one to I scared the shit out of everyone. During the Jack, we saw some real huge t.., I mean breasts on the screen, even Brian turned around to look ans say: Uhm, those are nice. They played Get it hot, which sounded wonderful. Back in Black was brutal and right after they played Highway to Hell. Of course they played Hell's Bells and Dirty Deeds, not exacly in that order but I know that they finished before the encore with Whole Lotta Rosie and Let There be Rock. When they came back they played T.N.T. and For those about to rock, and everybody was screaming when Brian said: Tampa, we salute you. They left everyone beging for more.Amazing lights, the statue of Angus and the porn comics during Hard as a rock. Angus did not show his ass ,he had shorts with the american flag underneath. My advice is ,DON'T MISS AC/DC FOR ANY REASON.GO AND ENJOY WHAT REAL ROCK AND ROLL IS ALL ABOUT.
AC/DC, thanks for this great night and for 25 years of creating and rocking. AC/DC is the best rock and roll band in the world, period.

No mess-ups this time. I was closer and the show was better. Same set-list but it was still awesome. I'm starting to really like Brian johnson! He is awesome. I've never heard his voice stronger! I got three envelopes bacstage asking for either backstage passes or autographs to be sent to me in Ohio for when I see them there in a couple weeks. By the way, huge nasty tits during the Jack. Rock On!

Gosh! The entire concert was sensational. This is a few days after the concert, but I still have my light up horns and t-shirt! I got every poster they had. This was my first concert ever and AC/DC is my favorite band so it was a long awaited dream come true. I got to the arena around 6. The people there were very cool. The doors opened and everyone rushed in. First thing I did was buy my horns! Then my shirt. Had time to use the bathroom then to get my seat. I had great seats. Section 115 row FF seat 11. Only 6 rows from the floor. I saw the giant bell hanging and almost passed out! The opening act was a very un known band but they were worth listening to. After a few of their songs, the lights went out. Everyone turned their horns on, stood up and screamed! A guy from a local radio station was there dressed in an Angus outfit and came on the mic. He introduced AC/DC and everyone screamed. I'll never forget the first riff of "You Shook Me All Night Long". Brian was yelling out those lyrics just about as good as Angus was playing those riffs. The first duck walk gave me chills. I was head banging with the "ROCK ON fingers" waving wildly in the air trying not to lose my horns. A few songs later "Hard As A Rock" came on. The cartoon porn and the animals were just hillarious. Angus's saying "Harder than a Rock" was magical. Then the "Jack" came on. The ladies were a little sparing on the breasts but it was still very good. Angus's strip was incredibly funny and neat. The "Whole Lotta Rosie" doll was terriffic. "Highway to Hell" was great too. The flames and everything. After they went off for a few minutes, they came back on and saw the most beautiful thing when 20,000+ people were wearing plastic flashy horns and yelling "Oi! Oi! Oi!". The 6 "For those about to rock" cannons were very loud and breathtaking. If you are debating on seeing them, trust me, it is well worth the money.

It was a night I had waited for many years and it was worth the wait. They rocked with all there heart and they enjoyed putting on the show as much as the fans enjoyed watching. Brian seemed very friendly while shaking hands with fans within reaching distance. The red devil horns that were sold as souveniers were glowing all around the arena it was way coooool. The whole crowd stood from start to finish, it is definely not a sit-down concert. My statement, "Being at a ACDC concert is like sitting on the back of a Harley Davidson, you feel good vibrations."

  • Jimbo

  • Dan
I just got back from the Nashville show, it was AWESOME. I saw them twice last tour, the Grand Rapids Show, and the Chicago show. I had shittier seats this time, but it didnt change anything. They were PERFECT. a few differences this time around. No satellite blues; instead, Sin City. also, they didnt play safe in NYC like they did in Chicago. Also, Brian sported an AC/DC baseball cap near the end of the concert... interesting. I really wish they would have played another song of SUL. Other changes were the NEW rosie blow up. its hilarious, shes vertical this time, and looks to have lost a few pounds. they have guys with ropes making her schimmy too! during the strip tease, the angus statue rotates, exposing the US flag on his trousers just like angus! The lighting seemed even better this time too. Seems they put a few tune ups this time round to make this concert even better! Really wished they would have threw a few new songs in there, but it didnt change the fact that AC/DC is the greatest rock band of all time!! long live the kings of hard rock!

This was my first, and hopefully not last, AC/DC concert. And while writing this review the night after the show, my ears continue to ring. My review? AWESOME!! you cant explain the best parts of the show , because the whole show was awesome. Angus of course had the spotlight, he struts his stuff at the first hit of his guitar, and never quits till the end. They played all the hits, kinda wanted to hear Big Balls, but oh well, lol. I personaly enjoyed the random glitter of red light-up horns everyone bought as souvonirs in the crowd, the huge AC/DC Bell for Hell's Bells, the video clips they showed during "Hard As A Rock"...lol, <you'll find out what im talking about>, and Angus' solo followed by his midshow strip showing us those US Flag boxers. For those of you holding those tickets, get ready for non stop Rock & Roll, loud loud loud loud music, and an awesome show.
P.S. It's a loud loud loud loud loud show, my ears are still ringing, no lying.

I dont think I can even find the words to describe the performance at Gaylord. I've been to probably 40 different concerts and this was by far the most awesome concert ever. The set was great, kinda like a greatest hits concert. I've missed them 2 different time but this time I made it. I couldnt have had better seats, front row left side, it was the loudest thing Ive ever heard, we could completely feel the concert, from the fire bursts, the cannons, even the sweat. There is no way it could ever be better. Rosie was looking good, hell we were on the big screen 4 or 5 times. Angus was out of control, all over the place, Brian J's voice was awesome, not one mess up, I dont think I'll ever go to a better concert in my life. I can die happy now knowing I saw the best rock band ever!!!!!!!!OIE!!!!

Once again, AC/DC proved why they're the best in the business.
Lights out promptly at 8:30 with Angus Young tearing into the opening riffs of 'You Shook Me All Night Long' to the final cannon blast of 'For Those About To Rock', Memphis was treated to AC/DC's timeless assault. They never change. The show could just as easily been performed in 1978, 1981, 1991 or 2001. For that, we should all be thankful.
Malcolm Young, Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams laid out the metronome perfect rhythm section time while Angus played his blistering solos. There are many poseurs and wannabes who WISH they could rock as hard AC/DC. The boys LIVE to play live---their performance last Saturday only confirmed it.
This is the ONLY band in the world I believe is worth paying to see. I'm an old geezer who has gotten REALLY cynical with music today. God Bless 'em.

I saw them last year on the 1st USA leg in Biloxi, MS. Both shows were excellent with a slight nod to Memphis as the sound seemed to be mixed better. They did not have the inflatable Rosie in Biloxi.
Brian Johnson was in good vocal form. He's not able to reach the highs as he once did, but he still came through loud & clear. Awesome.
Opening act was 'Wide Mouth Mason', a 3-piece band from Canada. Crowd reaction was mixed. The band seemed to not believe that they were AC/DC's opener and apologized for not being 'Slash'.

  • Malfan
What can I say. There are no words to describe what I saw in Memphis. To be in the birthplace of rock and roll and to be hearing and seeing the greatest rock and roll band ever. What a rush. It was perfect. This was my first time to see AC/DC in concert, and I sincerely hope it will not be my last.
On another note. I have three words for everyone to remember: Wide Mouth Mason. They were the opening act for the band in Memphis. They were great. A traditional three piece blues rock band with a bass player who just would not quit. Again, do not forget thier name, you will be hearing it alot. They said they had a CD out up north and was trying to get it released down here in the south. I cannot wait. If the band reads this, thank you for the time I have had in a very long time.

Saw the boys in Memphis last night. This was my fourth time to see them, and this was definitely the best AC/DC show i've seen. All the classics and standards, plus a couple of surprises (Get It Hot). Do not miss this tour!!! The second half of this concert just blew me away, as the band got stronger and stronger as the show went on. If seeing the in-the-flesh versions of Whole Lotta Rosie and Let There Be Rock don't blow you away, then check your pulse!!

The lights dimmed and the opening notes to "You Shook Me All night Long" thundered throughout the Pyramid Arena. Ac/dc is a helluva loud band. My ears are still ringing the night after the show. I was really impressed with Brian Johnson's vocals, still sounding great as well as Angus's stellar guitar playing. This was my first AC/DC show and very hopefully will not be my last. I was disapointed that Slash's Snakepit was not opening, they got some other band that wasn't that great to open. AC/DC had so many kickass props to back the music- The huge ac/dc bell for "hell's bells," the giant fat woman blow-up for "whole lotta rosie," the nyc backdrop for "safe in new york city," all the porno clips for "hard as a rock," the SIX cannons for "for those about to rock," and the flames for "highway to hell." Angus's solo during "let there be rock" was insanely fast and precise and probably lasted 5 minutes. I think there was exactly 20 songs played, the encore- "TNT" and "For those about to rock." One thing I found kinda weird about the show was Brian and Angus were all over the stage, never stopping, but the rest of the band stayed immobile the entire show. Sometimes, it looked goofy, like they were the backup band or something.

  • Jill Jackson
I have been a huge fan of AC/DC since 1979. I am now 40 years old and the concert in Memphis was most definately the best I've been to. The high level energy, the talent and the great fun was nothing to be compared to anything else I've been to. I never imagined having such a good time at a concert! I have always had a huge crush on Malcolm. The only way this could have been better is if I would have gotten the floor seats that I wanted. If it would have been possible, I would have gone to Little Rock the following Tuesday and seen them again! I will most definatley see them if and when they come back!

  • Corey Martin
Another crowd pleaser. AC/DC is #1 hands down. Saw them in St. Louis in September so naturally I had to see them again. First off the opening band Wide Mouth Mason was great. A real traditional rock band in my mind. They had that bluesy sound in their music unlike so many fakers today. I'm looking forward to hearing more about them. AC/DC of course began with You Shook Me which needless to say got the crowd pumping with energy. Not as much as Angus had though. That guy turns 46 this week and he still runs around like a scollded dog. Glad to hear them play Get It Hot( which replaced Meltdown). It is one of my all time favorites from acca dacca(hey Austrailia)!! Good to see the New York city back drop as well as the the Big Rosie doll. They didn't have that in St. Louie. Bought a t-shirt, program and two posters for a whopping $62! Yeah it was expensive but I guess it was worth it. Tried looking up the band afterwards, but came up unsuccessful. But hey hanging out on Beal street and seeing the greatest band ever in one day, you just can't beat that. Can't wait to see them again in oh I don't know about another 5 years.
