I have been waiting for their arrival for a long long time. And it's all the same for the other Japanese AC/DC fans. Their first gig in Japan since 1982 was really really fantastic! Audiences were fabulous too (we were all thirsty for their live performance). The whole concert theater became a one big voice on that date.
Band started off by playing "You shook me all night long" which was welcomed by really loud cheerings. But the real "Thunderbolt" struck us when they started playing the second song "Stiff upper lip". It was so loud and intense!! Usually rock bands are not allowed to play that loud in Japan because it is a very strict country. However, AC/DC didn't compromise. Even in the visual attraction (including the astounding fire works in "Highway to hell"). We were all so excited by it. Band's temperature and intensity was peaking in "Let there be rock". I couldn't believe it. It was so hot and solid!!!
Everyone was looking so happy and content after the show. All of them were waiting for this "Live spiritual organsm". It was a special, special night. I look foreward to their next visit to Japan!!!!!

Well, it was my first concert in Japan.Firstly I was surprise to be able to get in with a big bag without any check…Now I understand better why Japan produces such a lot of bootlegs…
Few announcements to prevent to take picture or recording the show. At least it works for the pictures since I count only two flashes during the entire show, and in one hour the Osakajo-Hall gets filled. Half of the people there does not look likes AC/DC listener. Indeed between the songs it was quite silent. No supporting act.
No surprise in the set list (in order) :
    1) You shook me all night long
    2) Stiff upper lip
    3) Shot down in flames
    4) Thunderstruck
    5) Hell is a bad place to be (tonight highlight)
    6) Hard as a rock (Maybe the cartoon was a bit censored by show shots)
    7) Shout to thrill
    8) Rock’n’roll ain’t noise pollution
    9) Sin city
    10) Bad boys boogie (tonight highlight)
    11) Hells bells
    12) Get it hot (tonight disappointment)
    13) The jack14) Back in black
    15) Dirty deeds done dirt cheap
    16) Highway to hell
    17) Whole lotta Rosie
    18) Let there be rock (tonight highlight)
    19) TNT
    20) For those about the rock
And they really quickly left. Angus solos and strip are really more enjoyable that what I could have remerber from my previous (and first) AC/DC concert back in 96 and wembley arena. The sound was loud, not perfect (particularly Brian’s voice) but who cares? All the other facts like Malcom and Cliff using only 2 square meters on stage you know already so I sum up : on the whole 2 hours of enrergic pure rock, very good quality as usual, very happy but not amazed.
By the way I saw this week-end the first bootlegs of this tour (from on of the two Paris shows). Compared to the Osaka show, the only change in the set list was « I feel safe in NYC » instead of « Get it hot » (and the order slightly different), too bad...
