whhhhhoohhhhh!!!!!!!!! damn! i can't believe what i just saw!!!!! IT WAS ACDC!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!! I have never seen a brisbane crowd get soooo crazy! Everyone was super pumped and as soon as "YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG" started the place went mad! everyone was singing the chorus! sooooo loud!
I was sceaming the title of each song before they started it (cause i printed off their setlist from the first perth show) and i think everyone was getting a little pissed with me... hahaha
Some "MAJOR" highlights from the show:
*Thunderstruck - The Power from that song was absolutely incredible! evry doing the chat at the start!!!!!! whhhhhhhooohhh (also my fav. song!)
*Hard As A Rock - Another Fav of mine! the cartoon porn they showed on the screens was soooooooo funny!
*Rock And Roll AIn't Noise Pollution - This was a huge crowd pleaser! Evryone reallly got into the chorus!!!!! whhhoohh!!!!!!!!!
*Bag Boy Boogie - Angus striping stunt during the song was hell funny!!! crowd went nuts!
*Highway To Hell - The Fireballs were awsome! i was a little way back from the stage and you could feel the heat off them! whhhohh!
*Whole Lotta Rosie - Different Blowup doll to what i've seen (No Bull) but thats because of the smaller stage of course... very very cool!
*Let There Be Rock - Angus soloing on the rising platform! very cool!
*For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) - The Cannons were deafining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was sooooo good! and i was soooo pumped up! and then they did the tickettake thing (which was the first time i had seen that!) and it was very cool!!!!!!!!
I bought myself a white ACDC tour T-Shirt($45), Flashing Devil Horns($10), and an Angus Young Poster ($5)......
I was disappointed that the programs were 25 dollars! although i don't know what exactly was in there.....
All in All it was a great show!!!!! the best moment of my short 16 years!
P.S... The Living End were a little better than what i expected...

    CCADACCA, ABSOLUTLY UNBELEIVABLE
I went to see acdc on the 5th of feb in brisbane and it was by far the greatest night of my life. When I went in the living end were already on and i was very suprised at how good they were! but in that 15 or so minutes when the lights were off just before the boys came on, everyone was going totally apeshit! and the second that Angus belted out that first riff of shook me, everyone in the whole center was on their feet screaming as loud as they could. The volume of it all hit me like a brick in the face but that didnt stop me from completely losing my mind while screaming every word of all my favorite songs.

    My personal favorites:
    shook mestiff upper lip
shot down in flame (i didnt see that one coming)
    thunderstruck (crowd went wild)
hard as a rockshoot to thrill
rock 'n' roll aint noise pollution
bad boy boogie (featuring Angus's traditional strip)
Hells bells (crowd went even wilder)
Back in black (crowd totally lost control)
    Dirty deeds
Highway to hell (one of my all time favs)
let there be rock (with angus's huge closing solo)
For thos about to rock (we salute you)

All I can say is IT WAS FUCKING AWSOME and I cant wait to go again

At 16 years of age it was a dream come true for me to see my fave band bash out the classics - Acca Dacca furfilled all expectations! I traveled 1000km to see them in Brisbane and even with fuel prices the way they are here in Australia right now, it was worth every penny spent on the stuff just to end up with a temporary loss of hearing and no voice!!
The atmosphere was absolutely electric in the Entertainment Centre; The Living End doing a fantastic job of openers on the night. Travis Dempsey's kick drum had a phenomenal sound effect - nearly made me sick as it felt like a kick in the guts every time he used it! They were fantastic, i will certainly be going to see them next time they come to town.
After the break before the big show, the crowd returned to their seats only to get totally hyped with mexican waves (actually 6 of them) and the customary foot stomp! By then everyone was yelling out for Angus to get his arse out on stage so he teased us with a bit of "guitar tuning". Frenzy was the only way to describe that moment. Then the big intro of You Shook Me All Night Long sent us mental! The playlist was as the previous guy said in these reviews. I sang along to every tune and had an absolute ball. There was a gorgeous guy sitting next to me during the whole concert so i basically took my craziness out on him when the need felt necessary - just grabbing him and hugging him heaps! There were some real spunks at that concert!!
I blew around $170 on merchandise, which is bullshit really considering i only bought a few things. I got a tour book, bandana, two shirts, two pins, and the flashing devil horns that the Latin American fella was running around and selling. But money doesn't really matter now i knew i would have regretted not buying what i did if i decided to be a total tightarse! The merchandise made really nice pressies for my friends back home who unfortunately couldn't make it to the show; us being 16 and all! I was the lucky one - my old man got me a ticket for Christmas to see the show and he came along for the ride to keep an eye on me - and he had a total ball as well!
So any of you out there who are contemplating going to the shows, I'll tell you now, it's something you'll never forget. Get out there and see AC/DC live at a venue near you!
    ACCA DACCA FOREVER!!!

    G'day Fellow AC/DC Fans,
Just a few days ago on 6th Feb 2001, I again witnessed AC/DC live.
This was the third time I have seen them live and they are still as AWESOME as ever. The show has everything you could ever want from a live rock performance and more. I have supported AC/DC from the days when I was just a kid and Bon Scott was still alive. They deserve all the pats on the back they receive as they are the true kings of hard rock. They started off playing a sort of hard and fast style of bluesy pub rock and you can still hear it in there music today. This Aussie/Scottish band prove to the world that they are the best in the only way possible and the only way that matters, by playing awesome music and doing it live. Twenty six years after releasing "High Voltage" (74' Aussie version) they are still blowing away there competition, AC/DC "WE SALUTE YOU"!!!!!

Well what do you say 2 hours of NON STOP blood boiling head thumping ear drum breaking hard rock, the only way Australia's greatest ever ROCK export know how to play
They Rocked they Rolled and i know I have been with them since Day from there days on Countdown in the early 70's right up till now every concert from the Old Hordern Pavillion in 1976 where Bon climbed and clambered
all over the Hordern like Spiderman to his shock value of wearing a dress 4 rows back left of stage you could feel the sweat flying off Angus " THE MESSIAH " the legend the master. Brian his usual cheeky self and is cockney laugh
Phil Mal and Cliff the best rhythm section pumped it like there was no tomorrow, Phil smoking cigarettes whilst not missing a single solitary beat the video of Hard As A Rock CLASSIC ACDC ballsy and never one to shy away from controversy
The women on there feet moving and grooving like they were go go dancers in their tight little outfits and the men not giving a shit just wanting hard pure unadulterated ROCK.5 years is to LONG lads way to long. Like a fine bottle of COGNAC
You get better as you get older, and anyone who claims they are not at the top of the tree, doesn't know music 63,000,000 albums sold in America alone 6th all time selling rock and roll band.5th all time highest album sale with Back In Black.
Backdoor Boys got nothing on the LADS from the LAND DOWN UNDER

Wow. Angus was on fire! They played all the classics in front of a packed house, and since the first chord was struck at ear-bursting volume, the crowd was at AC/DC's feet. Brian was in usual stunning style, shouting out every song, whilst losing litres of sweat. At one stage he rung out his hat, releasing more liquid than one could imagine. What was really impressive was the way we engaged the audience, shaking hands and pointing to individuals. Phil, Cliff and Malcolm didn't miss a beat, but played a minor role to that of Angus. While playing the same songs he had played 100,000,000 times, no doubt, he impressed all who watched, with great tricks and loud/fast soloing.
    AC/DC Still Have It ALL!
Rock on boys, u've still got a whole life ahead of you!

AC/DC on Friday night at the Ent Center and the venue looked and felt like the goddamn roof was gonna blow off! Nigh on 10,000 salivatating rock fans of all shapes and sizes left with an almost post-coital pounding headache with a bit of tinnitus thrown in for good measure. Well, that's how it was for me, anyway! Thunderstruck was a pure adrenaline high that lived up to its title, Hard as a Rock had the shy portion of the audience blushing at the saucy images projected on the video screens, Brian growled like Donald Duck on steroids and Angus is just inimitable. Loved the striptease!!
His solos were just mesmerizing! All in all a great night, if you ask anyone who went they would certainly agree!

This was the seventh time I've seen the boys since 1978, and their showmanship has never disappointed. This time around, their energy and professionalism was outstanding, and the show was as electrifying as ever. No point repeating the set list, but the highlights for me were Bad Boy Boogie, Shot Down In Flames and Get It Hot.
Angus looked great in his green suit, and Malcolm was absolutely cranking out the rhythm.
To the best rock and roll band ever, thanks for a great show and for continuing to do what nobody else can, which is to play straight in your face rock n roll!

Well! After seeing the greatest Rock'nRoll band in the world already 4 times on the Aussie tour while I was on holidays I couldnt resist heading back to Sydney after work on 9th Feb for another dose. With my wallet steadily growing empty I squeezed enough money out to travel the 300km to get there and was not dissapointed. But ya know what? It was one of the strangest Acca Dacca shows I've ever seen! Poor Brian's head was in a spin and thought he was in Melbourne (quickly corrected) and the band cut off a couple of his song intro's - I dont know if they had the shits with him or just wanted to get it over and done with - and ya know what I dont blame'em. It was the worst crowd I have ever seen at one of their concerts. I'm not surprised they wanted to get it over and done with (I dont think crowd noticed that though). To top it off (almost as a last ditch attempt to rev the crowd up) Brian did something I have never heard or seen of......he came back for the TNT/For Those encore without his shirt! It wasn't that hot a night....(although I know its hot onstage and all). Anyway a die-hard fan like me soaked up the 'different' atmosphere of that night - in a way it was one show I will never forget. I envy Yanks, Euros and Brits having the opportunity to see them again on the 2nd 1/2 of the tour. You can see they got it all!! PS: the previous 4 shows I saw were awesome - especially the 15,000 outdoor standing only show in Canberra! Get that NO BULL DVD too the bonus bits are hilarious!

Fucking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (you know the drill)
Let me just say the sound was awesome last night. Very loud and you could hear all the instruments. The sound was dryish, which is similar to the Ballbreaker tour (the Razors Edge I thought was a bit more wet/effects type of sound, but that was a while ago I suppose) Brian was buried in the mix sometimes, but then again the crowd was singing the whole way through so who really knows. Brian said after the Jack and Thunderstruck he could not have asked us to sing the songs any better! Every song rocked the planet, no duds, but the Biggest SHOCK OF THEM ALL IS: Malcolm broke a string during one of the numbers and finished the Song PLAYING AN SG. I SHIT YOU NOT!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY??? Who knows, it didn't affect the sound at all. The ticker-tape thing at the end was awesome!!!!!!

    Set-List:
    1. Shook Me
    2. Stiff Upper Lip
    3. Shot Down In Flames
    4. Thunderstruck
    5. Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be
    6. Hard As A Rock
    7. Shoot To Thrill
    8. Rock'n'Roll Ain't Noise Pollution
    9. Sin City
    10. Bad Boy Boogie
    11. Hells Bells
    12. Get It Hot
    13. The Jack
    14. Back In Black
    15. Dirty Deeds
    16. Whole Lotta Rosie
    17. Highway To Hell
    18. Let There Be Rock
    19. TNT
    20. For Those About To Rock

o there at around 8ish. Living End were already playing. They were serving heavy beers and there was a shitload of people buying them. Plenty of great merchandise, which I got signed later on!

    Meeting the BAND!
    - Cliff came out early around 12ish.
    - He gladly pulled over and jumped out and signed stuff for us
    - Stubbed his cigarette out on the ground, which I souvenired...then lost! (I made up for it later)
    - Very nice bloke, he allowed us to take photos with him.
    - Some guy gave him some scotch, which he took and was VERY thankful for
    - After being asked if he was tired/knackered he said "yeah I'm getting that way"
    - Some guy was so nervous he said "g'day Phil!" and Cliff just calmly goes, "Its Cliff actually"
    - Long wait (seemed like it)
    - an american security guard came over and told us to line up. He was ignored by everybody including Angus, who jumped out of the van and goes "all right where is this line?" and then promptly didn't give a crap as he signed whatever with who-ever in any damn order. He is as small as they say! Got some photos and had him sign heaps of stuff (t-shirts, programs). I told him I wanted his cigarette when he's done and he just laughed! Excellent bloke!
    - Then out of nowhere Malcolm came over and everyone started shouting his name. He signed heaps of stuff and was in a very happy mood, making jokes etc etc. I asked him about his "thick" stings on his guitar (he was signing over it for a fan) and he goes "Yeah for a really thick bloke!"
    - My camera didn't work when taking a pic of Malcolm and he goes, "ahh, you've gotta get a better camera mate!
    - I also asked him if he was tired and he goes, "yeah I'm a bit knackered mate"
    - Brian drove by without signing anything, but nobody noticed cause they were really busy with Angus/Malcolm
    - Malcolm said that Phil had his young kids with him and wouldn't be able to stop - No problem
    - And of course I got Angus' cigarette butt. I told ya I made up for it.

    Fuckin Awesome.
I have been a fan for 11 years ever since 'Thunderstruck' and this was the first time I've seen them. AC/DC are by far the greatest rock band in the world. Set list was the same as Brisbane exactly. Angus and Co. cranked out like you would not believe.
Angus, Mal, Cliff, Brian and Phil went off like nothing else. Angus' solos were unbelievable, while the others pumped out balls to the wall hard rock and blues as only they know how.
There are no words to explain the sheer power of an AC/DC concert however those of us lucky enough to have witnessed, will never forget.
Funniest parts would have had to have been 'Hard as a Rock' and Brian's "has anyone seen a hat?" just before 'Hells Bells'. 'Bad Boy Boogie' and 'Get It Hot' went off. It was fuckin great to see these two come out of the closet again.
This concert almost reduced me to tears, the sheer power and the feeling of seeing my favourite and by no doubts the greatest rock band of all time up close was the best.
Hope they come round again I'll see every Melbourne concert and would advise all those even considering it to get off the arses nxt time so we can get four maybe five concerts, No one will ever regret seeing AC/DC.
