You have never seen disappointment as there was on Tuesday Jan 23 when word got around Adelaide that ac/dc's drummer was sick and that the concert was off hopefully to be rescheduled for the 24th.Stunned fans were wandering around Rundle Mall and the Entertainment centre in disbelief. Our group had come from Melbourne, Darwin, California and Switzerland. Accommodations and travel plans were turned upside down. Phil Rudd had a kidney complaint and should be ok the next day. Most fans hung around till the next day and the band made it including Phil. Was it worth waiting for? You bloody betcha it was. There ain't a better band anywhere that generate excitement from the first chord to the last. A 2 hour gig seems like 15 minutes, and I reckon Angus lost half his body weight in sweat. Angus you are a true legend ...take it easy mate. I say they are better than ever.
fan comments .......awesome best concert i have been to
my personal favorite.... let there be rock

well first of all i would like to say that the concert absolutley fuken rocked!!!!!!!!! it was the first time id ever been to the entertainment center and the first time id seen ac/dc live. i've watched the videos and listenened to the CDs but nothing could ever prepare me for the real thing! from the moment the living end left the stage every person in the building stood up and chanted angus and AC/Dc for 10 minutes while the security and band set up the gear and when they came on it was so amazing with the lighting affects the sound was incredible rite from "she was a fast machine she kept the motor clean" rite through to the final "we salute u" the background of the city with the 11m tall statue of angus looked fucking amazing and when that thing started to blow smoke it looked like angus had just sunk 5 bongs in 1 toke. the flames in highway to hell were fukin brilliant as was the solo in let there be rock by angus. the jack and rock and roll ain't noise pollution were crowed favourites as everyone was singin. rock and roll aint noise pollution has always been 1 off my top favourites and i was very pleased when they played it, so until next time rock and roll wont never fukin die and i salute u all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The concert in Adelaide was postponed till the 24th due 2 something wrong with the drummers liver or something, but i can wait forever 2 c ac/dc, it was fucking spectacular! I got a bandana and the book because they were the only things really worth buying, because it was just all so fucking dear! I paid $2.60 4 a small solo, fuck sake man! Anyways as soon as I was in I was hyped being my 1st time in the centre and all, I think I was the 1st real headbanger. I didn't mind the opening band living end at all, they played wickedly, I guess all aussie bands do hey!
Anyways as soon as they went off the crowd were screaming Angus, Angus, Angus myself including, and as soon as they were on every1 stood up 4 the whole 2 hours and head banged like crazy fuckers! I loved the show man, heaps powerful and excellent sound and a great on stage performance by the guys! Hard as a Rock had some funny porn cartoons and animal porn and highway 2 hell had the stage just bursting in hot huge arse flames, it rocked! Dirty deeds done cheap, back in black, let there be rock & for those about 2 rock were personal faves, i went ape shit during those songs!
Anyways, what can I say, I head banged, air guitared, air drummed, jumped, waved the hands, did it all, the atmosphere was that great that u just had 2 go apeshit! I was a little pissed with the audience at 1st, me being 1 of the only head bangers and all but they finally gave in, i loved the tickertape, that was pretty sweet. My ears r still ringing, my neck hurts, i have muscle pains, but do not give a FLYING FUCK!! I had ear plugs, but no way i was gonna wear them, the statue was pretty fucking awesome turning in2 the devil and shit, and hmm what else, i don't really know, i had that much fun and all the songs sounded that sweet that time went so fast man! Angus, malcom, brian, phil and cliff, great fucking show dudes, hope 2 c u again soon, good luck with your next album! I salute u, rock on! Ahh what a show, What a Show!!!!

It was 25 years nearly to the day, albeit 2 weeks, when AC/DC hit the stage in Hobart, Tasmania. Last time the band played a few hundred people turned up, this time 18,000+ witnessed the might of Acca Dacca live and most of Hobart heard them, with reports of the music being heard 20 kilometres away from the outdoor venue.

Just prior to the band hitting the stage there was a shower of rain but the heavens were cleared by the opening bars of Angus belting into the classic "You Shook Me All Night Long". The crowd went crazy, Tasmania does not attract huge gigs like this and a lot of the concert goers had never been to a big gig. And what a concert it was. The set list was as previously mentioned by an earlier review of the Perth show. Brian & the boys seemed to be in their element with the Tasmanian 'devils'!!! Special mention was made to Hobart by Brian prior to the band ripping into "Rosie" as it was the city where the band met Rosie who inspired the song on their last gig here. My favourite of the show was "Let There Be Rock" it hammered. All in all a brilliant gig. AC/DC thank you for playing Hobart, please come back next tour.
