Yeah! They played "GET IT HOT"! Great show again.
Brian had some problems with his voice and with his ear monitor.
But Angus was in a better form than in Berlin (this time the
"Thunderstruck" intro was brilliant). I had some friends
with me who know AC/DC only from the seventies and the beginning
of the eighties. They all where excited! It was very loud again
so I used ear plugs to find the right balance between pleasure
and pain. It works!

AC/DC in Leipzig 15000 ausverkauft.......also die besten Bedingungen
Setliste nichts neues....

On 11/11/00 the thunder from down under came over Leipzig. About
15.000 people watched the show and the band gave their best!
The sound was rough and hard like I never heard it in the last
10 years! Unfortunately "Messehalle 1" isn´t
a good place for a Rock´n´Roll concert because of
its bad acoustics. This was my 3rd AC/DC concert and I was very
disappointed about the crowd - many people just stood around
and where not in the mood for the greatest band ever. Compared
with the crowd in Kiel in 1996 they where very poor. :-((
Setlist was the same like before with "Get it hot"
instead of "Meltdown" or "Satellite blues".
I´ll see them again in Riesa (11/25/00) and hope for a
better audience. And that´s for sure: I will do my best!

Now it's official: Leipzig is a Rock 'n' Roll City! Brian said
these words after "Stiff Upper Lip" because the audience
was just getting wild. This show was definitely the best of
the three shows I've seen on this tour (Berlin, 2 x Leipzig).
The band was full of energy. Brian was excellent (I didn't expect
this because he really had problems the first day in Leipzig).
The whole show was magic! I was dancing and headbanging all
the time. In Berlin I thought that they are getting older. But
I was wrong. They really enjoyed this show. So did I. The funny
part: When Brian announced "RNR Ain't Noise Pollution ...
do you know this one?" there was obviously not enough response
from the audience. So he said to the band something like "I
think we have to teach the basics". But then he was excited
to hear 15000 voices sing this song. May be I should cancel
the show in Riesa (Nov. 25) to keep this great show in mind

Wow, greatest show I ever saw. I have waited for an AC/DC gig
since 1990, never got a ticket for any concert, but this time
I got. And it was great, greater, greatest. I took a long travel
of around 500 km´s to see the guys and I stood
around one hour in front of the hall and 3 more hours to see
´em playing. They started like always on this tour, with
Y.S.M.A.N.L. and the 15.000 people starts to jump and scream,
so nobody was able to stand still. Do not ask for the official
set, cos I don´t know what the played in which order.
But the most important, the thing that had made me happy was:
they played GET IT HOT, instead of Meltdown. Now I´ll
try to get tickets for ROCK AM RING next year, cos they´ll
play there.
PS: the supportband for germany were the Backyard Babies, it
was awfull, cruel, loud, bad sound

They really kicked some ass in Utrecht. The setlist wasn't surprising...almost
the same as in the other places, accept for Meltdown, this one
was replaced by Get it Hot.
Lot of 'old' stuff, Mostly Back in Black, Highway to Hell and
Let there be rock songz. What's wrong with Flick of the Switch
? Fly on the Wall ? Who made who ?? Powerage ?? Not a single
song... pfff.. But hey, ok, the played for two hours. I've got
just one negative comment : the sound. It was way to loud. I
was standing about 2 meters from the stage, and - now 24 hours
later - my ears are still hurtin'.... Let there be rock sounded
just like one gigantic WALL of SOUND. Angus' solo disappeared
in the noise.. a shame..
For all you guys out there who've never seen AC/DC live : Get
a LIFE !!

Fucked up ears and a few broken ribs, but I stand in the front
row of the AC/DC gig in Utrecht. Me and my friend still don't
know who the support act was but it's was kinda good. But then..........
Lights out and, hell yeah, You shook me all night long. In the
first part they play You shook me all night long, stiff upper
lip, shoot to thrill (rockzzzzz), thunderstruck and Safe in
New York city, don't like the song on the cd but live it was
a real killer.
After that they only play satelite bleus from the new album
but who cares. Hell ain't a bad place, hell's bells, hard as
rock(cool movie), back in black, let there rock, the jack, whole
lotta rosie, rock 'n roll ain't noise pollution, TNT, For those
about to rock, highway to hell and a few others, I really can't
remember every song but after a handshake of Brian (friends
got three of him) I could only say: WOW! 2.5 hours full of straight
R&R, so I would say, go see them and for those about to
rock, I salute you

Oké, where should i start. The hall was packed with all
sort of people; Men in there mid-40's even 50's who wanted to
see there hero's from the past again, fathers with there sons
who had to learn what rock & roll is al about, the average
rocker and even little children. I only saw one number from
the support band which was just an average R&R band.
When the guys came on stage and played YSMANL, the whole crowd
erupted. The only thing that bothered me was that the volume
was just a little too loud, so the groove of the songs where
a little bit lost in this big concrete hall. SUL received a
great welcome from the crowd and everybody sang along.
R&R ain't no pollution was the weakest song of the set.
Never liked it that much on record also. The best played song
and the only one with a big fat beat was Save in NY city. That
song really is a live classic.
Other two goodies were of course Bad Boy Boogie and Get it Hot.
The striptease is still amusing although it is the same as it
was in 1979. Whole Lotta Rosie started great but was played
a little bit to slow to make it a real cracker.
Highway to Hell was a great air-puncher with nice pyrotechnics.
The crowd was singing louder with this one than with any other
song.
The cannons closed down the set wit a big bang and the band
left with a ovation from 14,000 pair of hands. There was a smile
on everybodys face because there ass was kicked by the greatest
R&R band still alive.
I only hope the guys will do some shows in more little clubs
in the future where there music has got a better effect than
in big halls. Till then; Let's all Rock on with ac/dc

Terrific Show by AC/DC. Best proof is probably the fact that
the concert even got good reviews by Holland's notoriously critic
leading newspapers. As you all know the feeling of seeing our
heroes on stage, I'll skip the descriptions and just give the
setlist.
- You Shook Me (All Night Long)
- Stiff Upper Lip
- Shot Down In Flames
- Thunderstruck
- Hard As A Rock
- Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be
- Shoot To Thrill
- Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution (Angus' strip-act)
- Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
- Safe In New York City
- Get It Hot (Really nice surprise, that one)
- Bad Boy Boogie
- The Jack (It's really nice AC/DC always play their only shitty
song ever so the thirsty fans can get beer)
- Back In Black
- Hell's Bells
- Whole Lotta Rosie
- Highway To Hell
- Let There Be Rock (extremely good pit during this one)
- TNT
- and, no surprises there, For Those About To Rock WE SALUTE
YOU!

Not Slash's Snakepit but some other support act (not bad) Then
finally...the crowds starts to scream/clap/etc. etc. and the
first song "You shook me all night long" kicks in
!!! Damm, what a great show, great sound and music... the whole
AC/DC package was played except "Bonny/Fling Thing"
and "Who made Who" But everything was great...really
totally fucking great. Compared to my last AC/DC visit in 1992
'Monsters of Rock' Nijmegen, The Netherlands. The show was a
bit less "huge" but played/performed much better (except
for the vocals in some parts of the show, but still okay)
Conclusion... Still one of the Best Live Act's in the World,
If you ever get a chance to visit AC/DC don't think about it
but go there and have a great time !!!

Yesterday i went to the concert in Utrecht. It was my 5th time
and i must admit that it was not their best show i have seen.
I already read some negative reviews and i must say that i have
the same conclusions. Angus has gotten a little slow but he
still plays great guitar and rocks the roof off! Brian had some
difficulties with his voice, but hey he has gotten older, already
did a lot of concerts and has given us some of the best rock
and roll singing one could wish for and the spirit is still
there. The breaks were sometimes a little longer, but then again
it gives you a little break from all the emotions ac/dc rises
with their songs. The setlist was 90% the same, but then again
"why throw away the good stuff?" They played two songs
of the new album Stiff Upper Lip and New York City and they
played Get it Hot and Bad Boy Boogie and more classics.
So its just how you look at it; either the glass is half empty
or its half full! Its like an old blues album, it only sounds
good and has soul if it has some bursts and noises on it because
you played it already a thousand times!! I had a good time!!!

Lovebomb
So the best ac-dc site with the up-to date must be this one.
Last night I saw Ac/Dc played for the 3rd time. As much as I
like the latest album (#1 at my top 10 albums), I had too see
them again.
The first time they played for 7.000 people in Amsterdam (1984)last
night it must be around 25-30.000 people. Was it better &
new ???: No, No, No. there was nothing new if you saw them before.
Well the show looks a lot better with a Angus statue and the
video screens. The sound was hard; "Harder than a ROCK".
The song were great like the new "Safe in New york"
loud & fast, "Let there be rock" ooh so good incl.
solo of angus, "Stiff upper lip" and "Hard as
a rock" are live much beter song as on the albums. Both
song are incl. video on the back of the stage. A surprise for
me was "Get It Hot" the really rocked it. The crowd
love every song especial the old goodies like "Whole lotta
Rosie & "The Jack". Brain was in effect with "bad
boy boogie", BUT the most enjoyable thing for me are the
6 cannons at the end. I will be there the next time again !
AC/DC : I SALUTE YOU

It was the best show I have seen on this German tour. I saw
them in Berlin and Riesa as well. What can I say. About 17.000
people gone crazy as AC/DC hit the stage. In Berlin the crowd
was boring. In Cologne everyone rocked in a way only cologne
guys in Germany can rock. So the band was in an awesome mood.
The people in the crowd were jumping and crying and everyone
had fun. That's the way an ac gig has to go. Sweatin, jumping
and screaming. I saw them three times in Cologne on different
tours. It was always the best gig on German tour. About the
show: What can I say? There's nothing better in music business
on this planet. Just pure Rock'n'Roll. There's nothing to discuss.
It's just a good feeling. Next summer they are coming back.
The story goes on and we'll enjoy it.
Rock on guys!!!

Statt "Meltdown"
knallten uns die Jungs "GET IT HOT" um die Ohren.
Ich dachte, ich träume!!! Beim Song "Hells Bells"
echten Seltenheitswert! Und beim großen Finale in Form
von "For Those About To Rock" trug Brian ein Trikot
-
Simon
Geil!!!!
Bei The Jack gingen
will sie nochmal sehen!!!
