  Was soll ich sagen, einfach überwältigend. Mein erstes Konzert seit fast 5 Jahren. AC/DC waren einfach göttlich, super Sound und herrlich laut. Auf dieser Welt gibt es nichts besseres. Nur leider war das Publikum für meinen Geschmack etwas zu brav. Ich hatte allerdings von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde meinen Spass.

  AC/DC ist jetzt schon seit über 20 Jahre mein absoluter Favorit.
  An diese Band kommt einfach keiner ran, es gibt einfach nichts vergleichbares. Live konnte ich sie jetzt zum dritten Mal bewundern, einfach unglaublich starke Show und ein satter Sound.
  In der Kölnarena war ich zum ersten Mal, eine würdige Halle für AC/DC. Die Stimmung war super, die Fans gingen voll mit, besonders bei The Jack und Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap kochte die Halle. Die Arena war restlos ausverkauft, mit über 18000 Maniacs.
  Ich hatte zwei Kollegen dabei, die eigentlich keine AC/DC Fans waren, aber nun schon. Sie waren total begeistert, hätten sowas noch nicht erlebt. Ich hoffe das AC/DC wie angekündigt (im Daily Dirt) bei Rock am Ring als Headliner dabei sind und sonst noch das eine oder andere Open-Air geben werden.

  Die zweite Show innerhalb von 24 Stunden, wieder ausverkauftes Haus in der riesigen Kölnarena. Und wieder diese gruselige Vorgruppe. Aber dann ging es um 21.00 wieder los. Und es war wieder grandios. Die Band gab wieder alles. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.
  Das Publikum war auch besser als in Oberhausen. Ich habe heute noch keine Stimme. Freue mich schon auf Dortmund und die Open-Airs im nächsten Jahr.

  Ich war bis jetzt in Ghent, Frankfurt und Köln. Utrecht, 2. Köln und Dortmund werden folgen.

  Zum Thema:
  1) Wer hat diese Vorband "Huge Child (?)" zu verantworten ?
  2) AC/DC rocken wie immer das Haus nieder.
  3) Schade, daß diesmal "nur" mit "YSMANL" begonnen wird.
  4) Auch schade, daß Brian die Glocke nicht mehr schlägt und Angus seinen Arsch nicht mehr zeigt.
  5) Dennoch, dafür wird man bei "SUL" regelrecht kaputt gequetscht. Genial.
  6) Endlich wieder Bad Boy Boogie im Set. Auch heftig: Meltdown & SINYC.
  7) Kult: Hell ain't a bad place to be, Rock N Roll ain't noise pollution, Hells Bells, Highway to hell, TNT, Shoot to thrill, Whole lotta rosie, Let there be rock, For those about to rock.
  8) Standard: Back in Black, Thunderstruck etc.
  9) Lustig und dirty: Hard as a rock (mit geilem Video auf der Leinwand)
  10) Mein Tip: Geht alle zum AC/DC Konzert - später bereut Ihr es, wenn Ihr die Jungs nie gesehen habt.
  11) Ich versuche auf den verbleibenden gigs noch Backstage was zu kriegen, aber Ihr wißt ja selbst....

  Que dire une fois de plus de ses deux heures passées dans les forges de l'enfer? Les membres d'AC/DC prennent des rides avec l'âge mais leur musique et leurs prestations scéniques, elles, restent intactes. Bien sûr Brian est à la peine par instant mais qu'importe il ne triche pas, et quel showman il est devenu au fil des années! Angus lui m'a paru encore en meilleure forme que sur le Ballbreaker tour, où l'un de ses genous était endommagé. Quant au trio rythmique il s'est montré implacable comme à son habitude, mention spéciale à Phil Rudd, plus puissant encore qu'en 1995. Bref, à l'arrivée ce fut une nouvelle punition sonore, avec comme summums Stiff Upper Lip, impérial en live, le monumental Bad Boy Boogie, enfin de retour après de longues années d'absence, Dirty Deeds, le rouleau compresseur et, comme à chaque fois, l'inégalable Let There Be Rock, le plus grand titre rock de tous les temps. On pourra relever un TNT étonamment lent, mais aussi la frilosité de la set list, notamment sur la dernière demi-heure, inchangée depuis 20 ans ; déplorer l'absence de plus de titres de SUL, comme l'énorme Meltdown ou Can't Stand Still ; se demander pourquoi des bombes comme Down Payment Blues, Touch Too Much, Evil Walks, Guns For Hire, Riff Raff, Gone Shootin, Razor's Edge, joués pour certains de façon sporadique lors des tournées précédentes, pourquoi ces titres et bien d'autres (notamment dans la période Brian) sont oubliés dans les set lists régulières, éternellement ouvertes à TNT, You Shook Me, The Jack ou For Those About To Rock... Mais au fond la vraie question, c'est quand même : à la fin du concert, sommes-nous heureux? La réponse est mille fois oui!
  Preuve qu'AC/DC est définitivement, autant dans sa musique sans concession que dans son attitude sans prétention, le seul et unique gardien du temple rock'n roll, ouvert dans les fifties par les pionniers. Ceux qui nous parlent encore des Rolling Stones sont soit sourds, soit malhonnêtes. AC/DC RULES!

  P**** que d'energie!!! Un concert incroyable, encore mieux que celui de la tournée Ballbreaker il y a 4 ans.
  Honnetement je ne m'attendais pas à voir le groupe enchainer ses classiques (et seulement 2 morceaux extraits de Stiff Upper Lip) pendant 1h45 d'affilé avant le rappel. J'aimerais savoir si il existe (ou il a existé) un groupe au monde capable (à l'age de 45ans) de jouer du pur Rock N'Roll pendant aussi longtemps et sans interruption? A ma connaissance il n'y a qu'AC/DC pour pouvoir réaliser une telle performance.
  Le concert fut grandiose.
  Point de vue musique rien à dire, c'est comme d'habitude voire mieux. You Shook Me All Night Long pour commencer le concert reste le seul regret. On aurait préferé une entrée fracassante avec Live Wire ou Back In Black. L'intro de Safe in NYC reste un des moments forts de ce concert. Le show d'Angus sur Bad Boy Boogie était excellent (peut-être un peu plus court que sur Boogie Man), The Jack fidéle à elle même, Back In Black n'a pris aucune ride et le 5 majeur (HTH, WLRosie, Let There Be Rock, TNT et Salute) est à inscrire dans les annales du Rock.
  Point de vue spectacle, les nouveautés par rapport au concert de Mai 96 sont l'introduction d'une allée perpendiculaire à la scéne et qui va jusqu'au coeur de l'arène (avec la plate forme pour Let There Be Rock), un ascenceur sur le coté droit de la scène qui transporte Angus à 20 m de haut pour le solo de LTBRock, un gigantesque lancée de confeties dorées sur le public pour accompagner FTATR We Salute You, et bien sur une imposante statue d'Angus au-dessus de Phil Rudd qui sépare l'écran géant en deux pour crachait du feu. A noter également que la grosse Rosie a perdu un peu de poids et à retrouver ses jambes de 20 ans.
  Et en ce qui concerne le public....ben le public d'AC/DC quoi. La plupart des chansons étaient reprises en coeur. La participation sur The Jack, Hells Bells, Whole Lotta Rosie et TNT fut remarquable. Et je fut surpris par la présence de très jeunes (7-8 ans) de jeunes (16-17) et souvent accompagnés de leurs parents!!! Comme quoi il faudrait arrêter de croire que les fans d'AC/DC ne sont que des mecs, motards de 40 ans. Les filles étaient très présentes.

  Safe In New York City (quel rythme, rien à voir avec la version studio, j'éspère que celle-là sera un jour disponible sur CD ou mp3)
  Bad Boy Boogie (excellente idée pour le show d'Angus)

  God is NOT dead...
  And is made of six divinities named Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams, Malcolm Young, Angus Young, Brian Johnson and Bon Scott. AC/DC is always the best, and will be the best forever. And they made us shout, dance, dream and cry during two magical hours, where I hardly tried to understand how these five little men, kissing dynamite and firing their guns at the age where some others should go to bed, could still have such positive energy, power and generosity.
  Angus is still this evil fire bowl, steaming after two minutes and flying in his world of pure rock'n roll. And Brian is always that friendly guy, smiling and running everywhere, shaking hands with the fans and sounding always great.
  After an insignificant first group, that fortunately lasted only 20 minutes, gods went on stage and took all of us on their way to the promised land.
  You Shook Me All Night Long is not so bad an opening... well, actually it's one of my favorite one. And the set list is almost the same as before, except a fabulous Get It Hot instead of Meltdown. Back In Black was a little too slow, and Let There Be Rock was the best I never heard, with an incredible sound and energy, and a guitar solo intro by the evil angel.. Bad Boy Boogie was excellent, with a perfect rythm given by the trio Phil/Cliff/Malcolm, and the sacred strip-tease. But I let you discover what Rock sounds like, through cult songs such as The Jack, Hell Bells or Whole Lotta Rosie where I almost cried with happiness and pleasure... and plucked my skin to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I now dream that they would give more concerts in France, maybe in the Parc des Princes or the Stade de France with Trust before. I also dream that they would play Satellite Blues, Big Gun and If You Want Blood... But AC/DC rules...
  .... and in Rock we trust.

  As much as i love AC/DC, i must admit that this show was clearly not as enjoyable as what i saw on the BB tour 4 years ago. Sure the show is still massive, the sound is huge and making you feel like you're being walked over by a Caterpillar but the whole thing is totally deja vu. AC/DC delivered the exact same performance that they did 4 years ago in the same venue. For anyone who never seen AC/DC before, this will do the trick but for the rest of the people, the show is totally predictable. The biggest letdown definitely being the presence of only 2 new songs which i think is totally ridiculous. Does this mean that the band itself considers SUL to be a lesser effort ? Do they also have to play 5 songs from BIB, with YSMANL being their weakest opener for years ? By doing this, AC/DC draws a line between long standing fans and people who only own HTH, BIB and Live. As much as i hate to say it, AC/DC is turning into a well oiled family entertainment machine.

  AC/DC in Paris was my 16th concert of this group. What shall i say?
  They have played as good as in the beginning of their carrier.
  The sound was much better than on the gig in Stuttgart (were i´ve been too). Also the audience were better as in Stuttgart (i can´t understand that people can sit on their seats during AC/DC is rocking as if they were in a church). So i have to pay a big respect for the audience in Paris. It´s pity that the band was playing not the complete setlist that they played in the U.S. and Stuttgart and Frankfurt. I don´t know why they aren´t playing "Meltdown". I hope AC/DC will be fit and come backfor more concerts in the future. They are simply the best - i love them.

  My third concert on this year´s tour. Great show, great fans, great location. They didn´t play "Meltdown" this time. But "Let There Be Rock" was extended. The audience liked "Dirty Deeds.." and "The Jack" the most. Many people had come from Germany to Paris and we met fans already in the train coming from Germany. What I didn´t understand was that many people kept sitting on their seats like if they were attending a service in church. But we had great time and even the elderly couple behind us (at least 65! years old) were dancing and partying for 2 hours. The show was perfect (we didn´t expect anything else) and one more time they showed who is the greatest live act in rock´n´roll.

  Un rêve!!! Quelle énergie!!! Show très pro!! La set list m'a paru un peu trop conventionnelle (Trop grande part laissée aux titres de l'album B.and.B., trop peu de titres du nouvel album (stiff upper lip et Safe in new york city); Meltdown??, give it up??) Parmi les habituels titres oubliés, je citerai l'album "Power Age". Cependant, avoir joué "Get it Hot" est plutôt une bonne surprise.
  Quant à la prestation scénique, elle était sobre mais efficace. Angus égal à lui même, Brian est une vrai bête de scène!!
  Les effets étaient sans surprise, si ce n'est les flammes à la fin de "Highway to Hell", les vidéos drôlissimes, la statue sans intérêt. J'aurais aimé voir Brian sonner le tocsin sur "Hells bells.
  Est-ce qu'un jour, on se permettra un réel hommage à Bon Scott, en interprétant "Ride On"?
  Je dois être un peu trop fan pour avoir un avis objectif! (5ème concert, fidèle parmi les fidèles, 22 ans que je les déifie!)
  Bref, pour être complet, c'était FABULEUX!!!!!!!!!!

  JE VIENS DE RECEVOIR UNE DOSE DE ROCK N ROLL INCROYABLE!!!!
  pour ce qui est du concert du 31 execellent,mais que dire de celui du 1/11 qui a surclasse celui de la veille,brian a super bien chante et angus me paraissait plus en forme que la veille,avec en prime leGET IT HOT en bonus FABULEUX!!!!!!!!
  pour avoir enregistre le set du 1er novembre, je peux vous assure que le son etait d'enfer

  Just saw ac/dc in Paris on 31.10.00 and 1.11.00. 2 great shows!! On 31.10. the only disappointment was, that they left out "meltdown" without any replacement. (why? just forgotten to play it ;-)?) but on the next day they played "GET IT HOT" instead of meltdown. this was a real magic moment for me. get it hot is a great song featuring those famous bon scott lyrics. the whole band was electrifying on both dates. brian did a real great job again. i´seen 6 six ac/dc shows this year and brian was always in a killer from. much better than on the ballbreaker-tour. also the sound was much better than ever. crystal clear vocals, great drum sound (phil is the best drummer i´ve ever heard, unbelievable!!) and, however cliff and malcolm were great!! exists any better rhythm section than mal, cliff and phil???
  and angus, what should i say??? he´s awesome!!! he´s 45 years old now, but on stage he´s really a schoolboy again!
  i think, we were all schoolboys again for two hours...

  Hallucinant ! Mes oreilles en vibrent encore !
  Après une première partie plutôt moyenne, un roadie vient annoncer le désormais célebre " Are you ready for AC/DC... ?" Les premières notes de YSMANL résonnent alors et Bercy s'enflamme aussitôt ! C'est le MEGA poggo dans la fosse mais ça se calme très vite car certains commençent à étouffer ! Pendant ce temps, les gradins sont debouts et le groupe enchaîne une set list excellente quoi que un peu "facile" (seulement 2 titres de SUL). Le son est très bon, Angus et Brian font leur show et la section rythmique martèle plus que jamais (Phil Rudd est excellent)! Seuls regrets : le prix trop élevé des T-shirts et je trouve que Cliff et Malcolm pourraient bouger un peu sur la scène (ils restent scotcher devant leurs amplis !). Le public est assez hétérogène et tout le monde pratique le désormais célèbre head-banging ! Bref, le concert pourrait se résumer en une phrase :
  AC/DC RULES !

  I drove 600 km from Sjælland, Denmark, to see my favorite (bad) boy-band in action in Oslo. It was well worth the effort. First of all the sound was GREAT! 4½ years ago I saw them in Copenhagen, and the sound was horrible at that concert. This time it was loud, but yet so clear. The 2 guitars were very distinct and easy to separate. Malcolm played a white guitar during Hells Bells, which was like granite - why didn´t he play it the whole set through?
  Overall, the band looked very relaxed and comfortable, just smiling and playing. The catwalk was a great idea. Brian and Angus went down it a couple of times, sweatting, singing, playing and handslapping. Though I was not exactly within sweatting-distance, they seemed amazingly close - fantastic!
  I have read previous reviews and was a bit disappointed with the setlist, though I must say that my disappointment faded right away. The band, the music, the show and the sound were simply too good to be disappointing. I still would have loved to hear Jailbreak and just a greater variety of songs. After all, 16 of the songs were played during the Ballbreaker-tour. On this particular evening they played SINYC and Get It Hot instead of Satellite Blues and Meltdown.

  Great show!! AC/DC are the coolest and hardest rocking band in the world. The sound was very good, and the sold out crowd went wild when we heard you shook me all night.... After that it just got better and better. Brian and Angus seemed like they were 20 again. Running and jumping around like wild men.The setlist was the same as before, only one little surprise they played get it hot instead of meltdown. The highlights of the night were back in black . dirty deeds . T.N.T .get it hot . thunderstruck and the jack. A great night in Spektrum .Thank you AC/DC I love you forever.
