Simply put, the only thing louder than AC/DC is war! Their show
in Philly was two hours of mind-bending, ear-splitting rock
'n' roll. They took the stage shortly after 9 p.m. and proceeded
to lay waste to the building with perfectly synchronized guitars,
drums, bass and Brian Johnson's raspy werewolf howl! He sounded
awesome and rarely ever rested. Same as Angus. The Man's unstoppable.
The First Union Center was nearly full, and the 20,000+ crowd
roared all through the show. Middle-aged bald dudes danced in
the aisles with their kids. Philly chicks flashed their boobs
for the big screen during The Jack. Malcolm and Cliff even had
to turn around and check out the flesh show on screen! The 30-foot-tall,
smoke-breathing bronze Angus statue was a perfect backdrop for
the stage. Brian was busy handslapping fans during parts of
the show as he ran up and down a catwalk that extended into
the audience. No surprises with the set list. It's the same
as what has already been reported. My one complaint is they
only played three songs off Stiff Upper Lip, which really is
one of the band's best efforts in almost 20 years. They ripped
out SUL, Safe in NYC and Satellite Blues, all good tunes. But
it would've ruled if they included Give It Up, Can't Hold Me
Back, or All Screwed Up. Still, Bad Boy Boogie and Hell Ain't
a Bad Place To Be were great for the set list. AC/DC puts so
much into each show, and it really is a rock 'n' roll show.
Screw the musicians who stand by their microphones and don't
even care the crowd is out there. Angus, Malcolm, Brian, Cliff
and Phil all remind us why deep down inside we all dream of
being rock stars.

People's Jobber
I know this review is about a week late but hell that's how
long it took me to recover from it!!!!!.This was my first ac/dc
concert and also the greatest b-day present I've ever gotten.I
just can't say enough and I can't put it into words of how cool
the concert was. The Jack had to be the best song on the setlist
(just 'cause of the live strip show from the women in the crowd)
and like my friend said: "Angus could've flushed a toilet
in rhythm and it still would've been the best song, because
we saw breasts!!!!" I don't care what anybody says old,
washed up whatever THEY KICKED ASS!! If ac/dc is coming to your
town don't be left behind and go to the show you won't regret
it.

As always, AC/DC put on a great performance. I was a bit disappointed
that they played Safe In New York City in place of Get It Hot,
but they played SINYC great. They might as well call it the
Back In Black II tour, however, as 5 songs from BIB were played.
I haven't seen them play Bad Boy Boogie since '83, so that was
a huge thrill. The new stage design allowed both Brian and Angus
to get up close and personal! The towering Angus statue was
brilliant, and the shirtless chicks during The Jack were not
a bad example of crowd participation (just don't tell my wife
I said that). Hell, one chick had her hand down her pants! AC/DC
always aims to please, and as always, they succeeded Sunday
night in Philly!

AC/DC absolutely rocked Philly's First Union Center on Sunday
night, August 20th. !!!!
I have seen the band eight times since '85 and my friends and
I all agreed that this was by far their best performance! Same
set list as other shows, with SINYC replacing Get It Hot. The
fans were packed in to the rafters, and everybody rocked with
the band from the first note of Shook Me all the way to the
final cannons/ confetti shots of FTATR! Absolutely awesome!
Go see this show!
Everyone played great, and boy were they LOUD!!!!! My friends
and I waited out back to see the guys load onto the buses, and
each one of them acknowledged our cheers of "Great Show,
Cliff!", etc.
What a great night to spend with the greatest band of all time.
Thank You, guys.

Steve in Philly
As I sit a my parents' computer, 24 hours after watching AC/DC
rock Philadelphia like no band has ever before, I think of all
the memories that are going to stay with me for the rest of
my life. The 30 ft. Angus statue that spewed smoke all night
and had glowing red eyes. The explosion of the crowd during
the first few notes of "Thunderstruck", Philadelphia's
"finest" showing their finest during "The Jack"
(including one incredible looking blonde who began to masturbate
on screen!). The sheer power of the band, especially during
"Back In Black" and "Highway to Hell". The
biggest and loudest display of clapping during "Shoot to
Thrill", and the genuine and honest chemistry the band
has with the fans that love them so much. These are the things
I will always remember. The set list was the same as other reviewers
have mentioned, and the show lasted a little over two hours.
This is my fourth AC/DC concert, and I must specifically point
out that Brian Johnson was better than I ever saw him. I don't
care if he is 52 years old, his voice is in great shape. His
voice was loud, powerful, and he just gave an awesome performance.
I was also glad to see a ton of teenagers there; it is good
to see that they are listening to more than just crap like Korn
and Limp Bizkit.

Awesome show! I'm 15 and I went with my dad and other friend
and it was the best friggen 2 hours of my life. Angus looks
just as lively as he was at 18 when he started. Brian's voice
was great. I heard some BS that he would be rough around the
edges but that was just BS in my mind. Malcolm, Cliff, and Phil
kept things together perfectly. They deserve more recognition
for what they do. I'm sure its not the easiest task to keep
things tight when you have Angus in the drivers seat. After
the quiet intro in the second song (stiff upper lip) I started
bangin my head and playin air guitar until the final chord of
"for those about to rock.." great videos during "hard
as a rock". I think I counted 6 or 7 pairs of breasts or
"boobies" as Brian so casually called them. One young
female even felt the urge to pleasure herself while she was
on the main screen.
Slash's band wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. He's still
rockin his heart out with a cig hangin out of his mouth. the
singer could use some lessons on crowd pleasing however. I don't
think the audience enjoyed being called "mother fu**ers"
or "bunch of fu**ing homos". slash, ditch the premadonna.
ACDC KICKS ASS

Well to start with I've always been a fan of the band. After
seeing them live tonite it's not even close they are now my
favorite. Best concert I have ever seen the playing and the
energy were incredible. Everything I read in the other reviews
is true about how great the show is. All I can say is if you
have been thinking of going stop thinking and go. The songs
off Stiff Upper Lip sounded great of course they all did. My
personal favorites were Dirty Deeds, Highway To Hell and TNT,
these also got a great reaction from the crowd. As for The Jack
there were a few young ladies who got into the spirit of it
for which we and the band were grateful. If there is a better
live guitar player than Angus around I would have no idea who
it could be while I was in no way looking for mistakes it sounded
like Angus nailed everything note for note and his energy incredible.
As for slash he should call Axl soon they need each other badly.

The First Union Arena was Rockin on August 22,2000
Slash's Snakepit took the stage with an eagerness to please,
and from what I could see, they did just that! Although there
were a lot of empty seats during their set, the Snakepit gave
it there all. They show definite promise as an up and coming
band!
But of course there is only one AC/DC! Angus and the boys commanded
the stage with enough force to bring the whole state of Pennsylvania
to there knees! Brian's voice held up extremely well as he rocked
the 2 hour set! Angus was the man that night! The bad boy did
his boogie and gave PA a night to remember! Malcolm was my favorite
though! He's amazing to watch! It amazes me to see someone as
accomplished as Malcolm is, looking up to his younger brother!
The sound in this Arena was unreal, like nothing I ever heard!
Phil and Cliff Rocked! On this night, there was an unbelievable
mix of good old Rock and Roll and some smokin Blues that would
make the hair on the back of your neck stand up! This band CLEARLY
loves to play together. AC/DC gave PA a great show taking the
classic songs like Whole lotta Rosie, The Jack, Let there be
rock and Highway to hell and mixing them up with a few new tunes
from Stiff Upper Lip it was really hot set list! The crowd was
awesome, the fan base at this show ranged from 5 year old kids
to 50 something adults. The best part, so many different generations
came together on this night to share a common love! The love
of Rock and Roll. It was a night of pure admiration for a band
that keeps on rockin! It's incredible! I cant wait for the next
show! AC/DC THE GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND!

I have seen over 30 concerts of many different bands and AC/DC
ranks easily in my top 3 favorite concerts. They had awesome
lights, loud sound, and special effects. I expected all of this
going into the concert but still I was surprised by how good
they were to see. The one thing that separates them from other
bands in concert is the SHEAR POWER they emit when playing,
it was utterly amazing to FEEL the music go right through me...
Oh, and by the way, those cannons were unbelievable!
-
Travis Gruszka
When I first entered First Union arena I directly went to the
t-shirt stand. Along side with all the catchy AC/DC apparel,
I noticed something I have never seen at a concert before. To
my surprise I saw earplugs with the AC/DC logo on them. If they
were not $8 a pair I might have purchased them for giggles.
Little did I know how useful they would have been to cancel
out the ridiculous racket of Slash's Snakepit. To continue with
the AC/DC merchandise stand, what I found to be the most valuable
memorabilia was the tour book. For $18 I now can cherish a wide
collection of new AC/DC photographs and a nice write up about
the band. Since I didn't find any of the hats appealing (really
found them to be plain with generic flames burning over the
AC/DC logo), I bought a Back in Black bandana to wrap around
my head to fit in with the rough looking crowd that AC/DC can
attract. Even though I was happy to see young and old people
gathered to witness a good old rock n' roll band. After I survived
Slash's Deadbeats, I waited in anticipation for AC/DC. I don't
know about you, but when I go to see AC/DC, I have expectations.
I want to see the Hells Bell, six cannons, a striptease, and
all sorts of pyrotechnics. I did see all of that including a
30 foot bronze statue the glared its eyes, grew horns, and blew
smoke out of its mouth. My only disappointed was not being able
to point out the Rosie parade balloon to my girlfriend and mom.
Yes, that's right. My girlfriend and mother have become fans
of AC/DC because of the constant playing of them in my room
and car. I also really enjoyed the set they played. I like the
fact they only played 3 new songs. I like to hear all the classics
of the early Bon era, into the Back in Black time period and
even one from Razors Edge and Ballbreaker. The one song I wanted
to hear from "Stiff" is You Can't Stop Rock n' Roll.
I consider that another great anthem that has the same feeling
as Rock n' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution (they played it), For
Those About To Rock (closed the show).
-
Jim
Ok, for starters, Snakepit was not as bad as everyone made them
out to be. They kicked ass and it was awesome to hear Mr Brownstone.
But all I can say for AC/DC is WOW. They sounded absolutely
spectacular. And Brian did a great job with "Bad Boy Boogie".
I will never forget this night and I will never forget my first
AC/DC concert. They were MARVELOUS.

With my ears still ringing and my voice almost gone, I just
wanted to send in my review of last night's concert (Aug. 22nd)
in Wilkes-Barre, PA. One word says it all ---GREAT!!!! I've
seen them a dozen times and they just keep getting better and
better!!
From the first song, "You Shook Me All Night Long"
to the last, "For Those About to Rock" they kicked
ass!! A few highlights were, the 40ft statue of Angus that shot
smoke and grew devil horns, Brian swinging from the "Hells
Bell", girls showing their chests during, "The Jack",
and of course the cannons!!
The 30 to 40 foot catwalk in the middle of the arena was also
a nice touch. All in all the show was unbelievable!! AC/DC is
like a fine wine, they just get better with age!!!!

Just saw my first AC/DC concert last night in Wilkes Barre PA
and my ears still hurt. had great 12th row seats and overall
enjoyed the show. I don't know if it was the arena sound but
vocals were almost impossible to hear. Pleasant surprise was
shook me all nite as the opener. Great way to get the show going.
Downer was the absence of Moneytalks from the playlist, what's
up with that. The band seemed tight and pumped for the show.
Have to give them credit cause the crowd in Wilkes was soso
in noise & emotion. I am sure the band looks forward to
their NY date compared to Wilkes. glad to finally catch the
band after many years. fans will hear all their favs such as
back in black, highway to hell, jack, etc go see the show

OK, I'm 17 so I have to deal with fucking trash like kornbisquit
bands or the backstreet boys or something. What should be done
with these talentless "bands" and all of the clueless
fans they manipulate is they should be brought to see AC/DC
this summer. Here kid- THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE!! Now for my review...
Wow!! What a show! The sound quality was perfect, Brian's voice
was in top form, Angus...,well Angus was Angus! Malcolm did
his job, and Phil & Cliff were THUNDERING! AC/DC burst into
their amazing set with You Shook Me, and from that moment on,
pretty much everyone in the arena remained standing for the
entire show. All of the classics were played. I would say the
best performances of the night were Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck,
and TNT. Hell, you can pick any one song out of the whole show!
The Jack was another highlight, which featured participation
from some ladies in the audience. They touched on some material
from the new album with Stiff Upper Lip, Satellite Blues, and
Safe in NYC. Great show. AC/DC provided the soundtrack for a
night I will remember always! They kicked everyone's ass!!!
On the Undercard, SLASH'S SNAKEPIT! Opening for AC/DC was Guitar
God Slash and his hard 'n heavy rock & roll wrecking crew,
Slash's Snakepit. Gotta cut them some slack considering the
bad sound quality, hell, that's how it is for the opener, and
the fact that they're playing songs which aren't released until
October. But screw that, they still Rocked! They delivered a
powerhouse 35-40 minute set featuring some wall shaking riffs
and killer leadwork by Slash. It's too bad he doesn't have the
opportunity to go into any extended solos (again, opening act)
Singer Rod Jackson was quite the entertainer, with cool stagemoves,
and funny floor humping. (yep, he humped the floor!) Do yourself
a favor and show up for these guys, they deserve your support.
AC/DC chose Slash's Snakepit for a reason!

Music was insane! I've been a fan for 17 years, I've seen all
their shows live since 1988. I don't know what is is, but this
was the best one ever. Opened with Shook Me and tore the house
down. The place was 80% filled, but not sold out. The crowd
in New Jersey is usually lame for anything in this arena, but
they went nuts and sang along to everything. The same regular
set (wish they would play different songs each night) with the
exception of "I feel safe in New York City." Great
time, shows you that no matter what new bands give you now a
days, its only secondary to the hardest rocking band of all
time. I'll be at the Garden for tonight's show.
INSANE!
-
Hells Belle
The Snakepit just gets cooler every time I see them! I cant
wait for the CD. AC/DC Just keeps on blowing my mind! from the
golden angus to the hells bell, this show never gets old. It
only gets better and better! The highlight of this show, Angus's
with his back to a roaring crowd (chanting very loudly "ANGUS")
Drop his draws and bared his bum for the whole place to see.
I give angus "2 horns up baby!". A Totally Rockin
show. See ya at the garden Angus!
-
Dean Buffoni
I was very disappointed in AC/DC this time around, the sound
was awful and Anguses guitar was turned down for some dumb reason.
Who ever does there sound board should be executed.....Cliff
Williams looked like he was hungover playing his bass, he barely
moved. Angus could only do his goose walk across the stage for
a few feet and then he stopped and then started again, its obvious
the smokes are taking there affect on him. Phil Rudd was good
as usual but then again he doesn't have to do much, Malcolm
looked like he was trying to keep going but I could see he was
tired by the end of the show. (More so now than in the past,
again the cigs are getting to him too.) Brian Johnson is still
alive and kicking and he was all over the place and that's what
I came to see, its obvious these guys are aging rapidly and
I'm very saddened by that. In 1996 they were awesome but this
time around they kinda just trudge through the songs and try
to put on a good show, Angus definitely is showing his age,
hair is thinner and he doesn't move like he used to. I cant
believe they opened up the show with "You Shook Me",
why that song???? that's there biggest hit, save it for the
end. by the way, this show did not sell out, there were a lot
of empty seats and now I see why..... AC/DC is past there prime
and should pack it in. they were great years ago but its over
now. (Just one man's opinion)
-
Yvette Martinez
This was the first concert I have ever been to and AC/DC being
the first on was really great they really rocked. I enjoyed
the whole concert. That was my first and greatest concert experience.
I would love to see them perform again if they tour again next
year. Angus was great on the guitar with that great fingering
action of his. Angus and the whole band really rocked The Continental
Arena. Brain Johnson was also great with his singing. For as
I live I will never forget that my very first concert experience
was seeing AC/DC live in concert. Rock on AC/DC fans I know
I will till the day I die. ANGUS ROCKS ON THE GUITAR!!!

Sorry folks but there is no better place to see AC/DC than at
Madison Square Garden. Especially on a Friday night. I don't
mean to sound like a snob but 8/25/00 marked the 17th time I
have seen the band (I was lucky enough to catch them on their
Highway to Hell tour in '79) and no place matches the intensity
of the Garden crowd. I think the band senses it and feeds off
of it because out of all the places I have seen them play, they
are always a notch better at MSG. And last Friday was no exception.
I was originally a bit skeptical about them choosing YSMANL
as the opener (I would have suggested Live Wire, Riff Raff,
or even Hells Bells) but let me tell you, it WAS a great opening
song. Got the crowd wild right from the beginning. No fanfare
either, the band simply walked on stage, Angus took a bow and
they let it rip from there. Honestly folks, I have never seen
Angus on fire like this ever before! He really dug down deep
and played like the great guitarist that he is. The rest of
the band was tight as hell, and Brian Johnson sounded perfect.
The set list was great, no different than what has already been
reported. My personal favorites of the night were Safe in NYC,
Bad Boy Boogie, Rosie, Let There Be Rock, and of course, FTATR.
My ears were still ringing as of Sunday! I really can't think
of any bad things to say about the show...some other reviewer
said it best: AC/DC is like a fine wine - they get better and
better with age.
-
Daddy-O
I wish I could take all the stupid kids out there who listen
to korn and limp bizkit and show them what a real rock and roll
band is. No fancy clothes, no un-necessary crap, just good foot-stomping,
gut-kicking bluesy, power charged rock. I had second row seats
for the New York show and I had the time of my life. Angus skipped
around the stage as nimble as ever and Brian wailed away in
his beautiful razor-throated style as the band charged their
way through a solid two hour set. Slash's Snakepit gave me just
enough time to get all the beer I needed to enjoy AC/DC fully.
It was cool seeing Slash, but his lead singer needs to go. He
was nothing more than a punk in tight pants who jumped around
like a mess. But hell, that wasn't gonna ruin the night. We
actually caught a glimpse of Steven Tyler and Joe Perry catching
the show, maybe to check out the competition. The only negative
part of the show is AC/DC has ruined me for any other concert.
They were just so good that anyone else I see live is gonna
look like a bunch of pansies. Cold beer, hard rock, (AC/DC rock
that is) and the bands showmanship made for the best time I've
had anywhere in along time. Can't wait for the next tour.
-
llostsoull
I saw the band the previous night at continental arena. They
were much more in tune with the audience at msg and played even
hotter than the night before. They were great at continental
but they were absolutely on fire at the garden. Angus was pulling
and twisting the guitar over his head and did some things that
I have never seen him do before, even though they choreograph
the show professionally each night. The crowd at the garden
clearly affected his vibes. For anyone who loves going to concerts,
ac/dc will be the crowning point of your concert-going career.
Rock and roll was meant to be played this way and meant to have
developed in this direction. their sound is clean (loud but
not distorted) with no added guitar effects. There are other
great bands out there and great in concert as well but truly
ac/dc is the ultimate rock band with the ultimate sound, songs
and show. It amazes me that one song sounded better than the
next. They have so many catchy, strong tunes that when seeing
them in concert, one can never be bored. Even metallica bores
me sometimes during their shows, but not these guys. Their songs
are meticulously crafted for rock songs. They are always there
to please their audience a thousand percent. This review should
be read among other concert reviews as well because it is a
shame that only ac/dc fans will read this. People just don't
realize how incredible they are. How's this for a review?!!!?
-
Tate Gardner
I have to say I was a bit disappointed too with the sound quality
on this tour; the sound man did not handle the show well. Don't
get me wrong, AC/DC is one of my favorite bands, and my absolute
favorite band to see live. Usually they sound phenomenal live,
but this time the sound man left things quite unbalanced. Additionally,
many songs sounded slower than usual, or like Thunderstruck,
slowed down after they started. Overall, the show was enjoyable,
but by no means was I blown away like the last tour. Oh well
- I hope there's a next time and that they will rock once again
like before.
-
Mike Muldoon
Well this was 15 years in the making. AC/DC were the first band
that made my jaw hit the floor when I was just a wee lad. Since
then I've attended over 300 concerts but for some reason I've
never had the pleasure of seeing them. I've always been a huge
Bon Scott fan but I've also always loved Brain Johnson's albums
with the band too. Bottom Line, these guys still kick ass.
MSG SETLIST:
You shook me all night long
Stiff upper lip
Shot down in flames
Thunderstruck
Hell ain't a bad place to be
Hard as a rock
Shoot to thrill
Rock n roll ain't noise pollution
I feel safe in NYC
Bad boy boogie (with the classic strip tease)
Hells bells
New satellite blues
The Jack
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep
Back in Black
Highway to Hell
Whole Lotta Rosie
Let There Be Rock
Encore:
TNT
For Those About To Rock
To me everything sounded great. Even the new songs have that
classic AC/DC punch to them. The only old songs that I did not
feel translated well to Brian Johnson voice and style were Shot
down in flames and Hell ain't a bad place to be. To me these
songs absolutely need Bon Scott to be delivered appropriately.
I would've rather Brian sing High Voltage or more of the kickin'
songs that he's wrote and recorded with the band. Anyhow, if
anyone is in doubt, let me re-assure you, these guys are amazing.
Don't miss it.
-
Robert de Warren
This was my first ever AC/DC concert. I work more in classical
and contemporary music related to theatre. To tell you I was
lightning struck is to put it mildly! From their modest entry
onto the stage to their first note, was like a blaza of light
in a split second. The sold out Madison Square Gardens stood
and screamed and never sat down again. As Young and Johnson
took over we were all shaken by a vibration so strong it felt
like an earthquake. Johnson's energy and guttural roaring increased
as the evening went on as did the entire band's. Stage effects
were great, from Angus in large, blowing smoke or lightning
eyes, or red luminous horns! Man! Fire and brimstone. What a
great discovery for me! Long may they reign!
-
Bobbybagpipes
I've said it before and I'll say it again, AC/DC RULES! The
minute the lights went out, a sold-out MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
jumped to it's feet and went nuts. AC/DC looked and sounded
great...Even better than they did on the Ballbreaker tour. The
cartoon they had on during HARD AS A ROCK was f@@king hilarious.
I have often wondered why I haven't really been able to enjoy
a concert since the first time I saw AC/DC. This band will ruin
any other concert you ever go to for as long as you live. No
one can put on a show like AC/DC. After the show I almost collapsed,
as the adrenaline rushed out of my system. THEY HAVE TO COME
BACK AROUND FOR ANOTHER SHOW AFTER THE EUROPEAN LEG OF THE TOUR.
-
Mark L.
It is the morning after my final AC/DC SHOW (#4)of this tour.
ALL THE praise everyone puts on the reviews of this tour, really
is not enough. Without a doubt AC/DC is the Greatest ROCK&ROLL
band of the past 30 or so years. We were 3rd row orchestra in
N.J. Thursday and being so close for the 1st time was like seeing
Royalty, my life will never ever be the same. Last nite at MSG
was wild!! the whole place was on MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE and you
could tell ANGUS AND BRIAN KNEW IT. They gave it that little
extra push!! The song list stayed the same and people will always
complain, why didn't they do this or this. But sad as it is
they can only do so much each time (what a pity). All I can
say is they have and forever will touch my life in a way no
musical band can. AND THEY SHOULD GO ON FOR AS LONG AS THEY
CAN SOUND AND FEEL AS GOOD AS THEY DO, while not embarrassing
themselves like other old( are u listening Mick and Roger) Rockers
are starting to do. They are the youngest of the bunch so it
gives them some time. Who ever you are, if you have not seen
them yet and have a chance..GO!!!!!!!! IT IS AN EXPEREINCE THAT
WILL LAST YOU A LIFETIME. I am 42 and last nite was my 24th
show. It gets better every time!!! AC/DC THE GREATEST ROCK BAND
THAT EVER WAS, AND THAT EVER WILL BE!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!!
-
Hells Belle
Wow! What an amazing show! You can't get any better than that!
The opening band, Slash's Snakepit Kicked Ass! They really rock!
There are no words to describe AC/DC that Night! This was clearly
the best concert I have ever seen! They Played a 2 hour set
to an unbelieveable crowd! Every seat was filled! And every
person in the arena was on there feet the whole show! Even for
the Snakepit! There is no place like New York City! High Five
to the security guys! you rock! (We are "safe in NYC").
Angus just gets better and better! During the 4 shows I saw
Brian never seemed to be straining himself. They really put
on one hell of a show!

It is now Monday morning 08/28/00 and my ears are still ringing
from last night's concert in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have seen
AC/DC perform many times thru out the years and last night I
must say was just phenomenal. The guys were clearly enjoying
themselves on stage. Brian Johnson and Angus Young were nonstop
during the hole show. The stage it self was just awesome. I
was only seven rows back from the stage and yes it was loud.
In my opinion there was no downfalls to report about the show.
A lot of the other reviews didn't talk very highly of Slashes
Snake pit but I felt that the band sounded pretty damn good.
The singer with dreadlocks at hand had a very strong, loud voice
and at times seemed to dround out the band, but that is what
I like in a band which is why I am such a big fan of Brian Johnson.
With his unmistakable high pitched, very strong and gruffy vocals
and a band like AC/DC it is a no brainer that yes you are in
for a good time when you go and see the boys perform. You owe
it to yourself to go and see AC/DC perform live. You will not
be disappointed. That is a promise.
-
Scott Fraker
My brother-in-law Rodney and myself drove an all day road trip
of 700 miles to see the show of all rock and roll show's, and
would do it again without any hesitation. Why because we did
it to see AC/DC the '' only '' rock n roll band in the world.
They did Safe In N.Y.C. in Conseco Fieldhouse home of the Indian
Pacers that was a nice touch for all of us Pacer fans <Pacers
beat the Nicks in the playoffs>.Angus oh Angus he was wearing
red and was like a Blazeing Guns For Hire, in that red school
boy suit he's not changed a bit he still rules the stage as
he strangles his S.G. Brian was awesome high fiveing fans and
giving us what we wanted a great rock show from the greatest
rock band he was great. As for Cliff, Phil and Malcolm they
are the greatest backbone in rock, they're unstopable, they
were awesome as always. The song set was the same as other shows,
with the exception of Get It Hot being replaced with Safe In
N.Y.C. The show was great AC/DC rocked the Fieldhouse. So now
were waiting for AC/DC to SALUTE our home town Knoxville TN.
I can't wait, until then ANGUS RULES.

I had never seen AC/DC live before 8/27/00. Best concert I have
seen in a long time. Hells Bells rocked the house. But I must
say For those about to rock was a show stopper to say the least.
The pyrotechnics were great. Angus gave a legendary performance.
Brian was in rare form. I hope they come to Ft. Wayne so I can
see them again. Only this time I hope to get closer.

I don't know how they do it every night. I was also at the 1st
show in Grand rapids and they were just as tight and energetic
as a month ago. At times there were serious amounts of feedback
coming out when Angus would stop playing or pause but as far
as the band is concerned they were near perfect. Glad to see
SINYC replace GIH.
