  • 20: "Who Made Who" released in the US.

  • 10 & 12: AC/DC shoots a new video for "You Shook Me All Night Long" at Jacob Street Studios in London and outdoor scenes in Northern England. Directed by David Mallet.

  • 23: "Who Made Who" released in Australia.

  • "Who Made Who" enters the US Billboard charts, eventually peaking at #33. The album peaks at #11 in the UK charts.

  • Single, "Who Made Who / Guns For Hire", released in Japan.

  July 86
  • 4: US release of the movie "Maximum Overdrive", with the soundtrack recorded by AC/DC.

  • 28: Single, "You Shook Me All Night Long / She’s Got Balls (Live)", released in the US.

  • 30: Rehearsals in New Orleans (Lefront Arena).

  • 31 – September 20: US Tour, 42 dates. Supported by Queensryche and Loudness. Despite a rough year for the concert industry, AC/DC’s tour is completely sold-out and one of the most successful of the year in the US.

  • 20: The band opens its concert at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale by bringing 6 Angus clones on stage.
