- 1979 Jam with Cheap Trick released - 09/02/00
- Anybody familiar with the band knows that AC/DC very rarely
participate in jams with other bands, but it does occasionally
happens. During their US Tour in July 79, Bon, Angus & Malcolm
joined Cheap Trick (whom they were supporting) on stage for a
rendition of Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode". Believed
to be from Sioux Falls' Arena on July 7th 1979, this recording
is included in a VERY limited edition (1,000 numbered copies)
semi-official CD entitled "Bun E.'s Basement Bootlegs Gigs
79-94", only available by mail-order through the official Cheap
Trick fan-club since July. If you'd like to get this CD, go
to the Cheap
Trick Fan club page. Hurry up, VERY few are left... and this
will become a huge collectors item. (Thanks to Pekko for the tip)
