- Bruce Fairbairn Dies - 5/18/99
- Canadian producer Bruce Fairbairn was found dead yesterday at
his home of Vancouver, BC. He died of yet undetermined causes
in his sleep at the age of 49. Fairbairn's career as a major producer
took of in 1986 with the multi-platinum Bon Jovi album "Slippery
When Wet", and he later produced among others, Aerosmith,
INXS, Van Halen and more recently KISS. He produced the multi-platinum
AC/DC albums "The Razors Edge" in 1990 and "Live"
in 1992.
