- AC/DC to Enter Studio - 4/5/99
- Brian Johnson confirmed last month that the band will soon enter
the studio to record the new album, which will mark a 'back to
the roots' for the band. "We're gonna try to get that bluesy
feel back again," Johnson said, "We'll be going into
the studio soon. I think we're going to use George Young. We really
want this to be an unforgettable album, a real biggie, you know?
We worked hard on the songs." This new album would mark George
Young's return, who co-produced (with Harry Vanda) all early AC/DC
classics until 1978 and last worked with the band on "Blow
Up Your Video" in 1988. No firm release date has been scheduled
yet.
