- Bonfire Gold - 12/21/97
- "Bonfire" has been certified Gold in the US. Some
other titles of their back catalog were also re-certified multi-platinum
this month, with "Let There Be Rock" reaching the 2
Million sales mark, "Dirty Deeds" 5 Million, and "Back
In Black" 16 Million, becoming the second biggest selling
Hard Rock album of all time right behind Led Zeppelin IV.

- Ozzy Osbourne is reportedly looking into getting AC/DC to headline
the bill of his OzzFest tour next summer.

- AC/DC Sign with EMI UK - 12/02/97
- AC/DC has just signed a new deal with EMI records for UK distribution
only. The entire back catalog should be reissued
on that label soon and "Bonfire" will be out on December
8th. Future recordings will be issued on EMI as well. They remain
on East West records for the rest of the world except Australia.

- "Bonfire" will finally be released in the UK on EMI
records on December 8th. The Box set entered the US Billboard
charts at #90 (W/E 12/6), the Swedish charts at #60 (W/E 11/28),
the French Top 100 at #56 (W/E 11/22) and #21 in Australia.
