- Courtney Love slams R&R
Hall of Fame - 12/27/00
- Recently passed over for a 2001 induction into the Rock &
Roll Hall of Fame (while Solomon Burke, Flamingos & Steely
Dan are being inducted), AC/DC have found a supporter in no other
than Courtney Love, who recently sent a telegram to The R&R
Hall of Fame which read: "...How dare you fools not put Lynyrd
Skynyrd, Patti Smith or AC/DC in your Hall of Fame..." She
asked to get all of Kurt Cobain's belongings displayed in the
Hall of Fame Museum back immediately. Not that the band probably
gives a rat's ass about not being inducted, (having been ignored
for so many years by all the music industry's institutions, ie.
Grammys, etc) but pretty funny nonetheless... Check the story
