In the meantime, record labels keep
re-releasing old material from AC/DC members. A new CD featuring
Brian Johnson with Geordie was released in the UK in May, entitled
"Can You Do It?" (Delta Music CD6190), it is identical
to the "Very Bet Of" CD published in 96, with 2 extra
tracks and new artwork.
Dave Evans' first solo album "Dave
Evans & Thunder Down Under" (originally released in
Australia only in 1986, very hard to find today), reissued on
the Ecstasy/BMG label (ESCD0001) from Germany has been available
since April, but is quite hard to locate, although a few web
site record stores carry it [It can also be purchased through
the label's site at http://www.ecstasyrecords.com.au]
It includes new artwork with a few early AC/DC pictures inside.
Finally, See For Miles has issued
this month in England yet another Bon Scott CD, "Bon Scott
With The Spektors And The Valentines" (SEECD 704), including
all known material of his first band The Spektors (4 tracks
recorded in 1965 for a TV show), with a yet unreleased track,
"It Ain't Necessarily So" with Bon on Drums. Bon only
sings on one track, "Gloria." Also included are 9
Valentines tracks (previously available on other releases),
a Vince Lovegrove interview (founder of the Valentines), and
various pictures. By the way, the picture on the front cover
is not of Bon Scott, but of Valentines member Ted Ward... Good
one guys!
